A co-worker of mine brought me some while we were on night shift and it was great. I’m not if the name of the dish but it was a seafood soup with: tofu(great texture) crawfish, oysters, celery and squid I think lol. The sides were awesome too.

The good news, The kimchi stew was good, not great. the pork inside the stew was perfectly cooked and had clear noodles in it. The portion of main dishes were more than enough! I also loved the side dishes but, the radish kimchi was fermented too much. oh, I don’t think they use MSG! Here is the bad news. First, I came in before my friend and told them that I was waiting. the restaurant wasn’t busy at all and all the ladies were just starring at me waiting for me to order after I told them several times that I was still waiting. Just dead stares. So awk! Also, they were so late on my side dishes and when I asked if I could get them now, they said no. And it was already prepared where I could see them. The food was ok, coming from Atlanta, I’ve had better dishes. The spicy noodle I ordered was over cooked. I will try again before I leave and see how it goes!

This place was very nice, very quick with everything. I am from Columbus, and was in LaGrange for work. This restaurant came up on Unilocal nearby. Most of the lunch crowd is from the Kia plant up the street. They have some lunch specials. The bulgogi is to die for! The staff speaks English enough to help you find what you want. All staff is very friendly and hard workers!

Delightful surprise in LaGrange! Came in for dinner around 8pm on a Tuesday night, they weren’t packed but had a good bit of business. The food was amazing! I had more than enough and enough leftover for lunch the next day. I had ordered the Dwaeji Bulgogi. Ordering in English was not a problem, although being Korean may have warranted us better service. Service was subpar. Food came out at a decent time, but the waitress never came back to ask if everything was ok, drinks were never refilled, and getting the check required flagging down another waitress after sitting idle for awhile after our meal. Overall, the price was decent and the food was good.

Great portions and great lunch prices. Lunch is $ 8 – 10, while dinner ranges up to $ 40. I’d venture to say, based on lunch, that the dinner is well worth it. No surprises here, just good food. Would definitely give any Atlanta restaurant a run for its money. Service is what I expect from an Asian restaurant. Brusque, but not inattentive. Don’t mistake the lack of hovering for a lack of care. They’ll be there when you need them.

This place makes great Korean staples like bibimbap(which is great). Portions are large and the staff is eager to please. Speaking Korean would make ordering easier? But isn’t necessary. I would like to come back with a group and use one of the party rooms.

This was my first try at Korean food and I really enjoyed it. I wasn’t looking for Korean food, but due to the snow storm my options were limited to this place, Japanese, or Applebee’s. I’d starve before eating at an Applebee’s and I wasn’t up for the typical«dog and pony» show at the Japanese joint. I entered the door and was pleasantly greeted by the staff. I was brought some hot tea by the server and she attempted to explain the menu to me, but I still wasn’t sure what anything was, even after her attempt to explain it to me(just due to my ignorance of Korean food). I saw a picture on the menu and told her that’s what I wanted. It was pork with onions in a red sauce(it looked good). After a few minutes, she brought a huge tray of food out on a cart and most of it looked«weird» — yet delicious. Luckily, I watch a lot of Bizzar Foods, so some of the food looked familiar. I recalled that Kimichi from the TV show and I was eager to try it. Along with my main course, sides included the Kimichi, egg plant, soup, small shrimp(parts and pieces with shells flash fried), and many other typical Korean sides. I must say that I made a pig of myself and ate everything, even after telling myself that there was no way I could eat it all. It was all different to me, yet remarkably tasty. In addition, I enjoyed the company of an all-Korean ambiance, staff, and customers. I would definitely recommend this place, but could only give it 4 stars because I couldn’t compare it to anything, as this was my first experience with Korean food. I will definitely return when business brings me back to town.
