This place was soo freaking good. I too, sat down with my mom here after walking around the festival and what a treat! I got a falafel(sp?) pita and she got a combo platter. The hummus was soo good as was the spanikopita. The pita I had was stuffed with so much stuff I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The Greek fries were yummy as well. Definitely check it out if you go to the festival.

Located inside the Sawdust Festival, Pappou’s is a great place for lunch, dinner, or an afternoon snack. I came here yesterday with my friend after an afternoon of walking around the Festival. Pappou’s has a variety of Greek appetizers, soup, salad, sandwiches, entrees, and they also sell cookies. You order at the window, and they call your number when your food is ready. We split an order of the roasted eggplant dip with pita bread and an order of the Greek Island fries. Both came with a side of yogurt dip. Everything was fresh and tasty. The fries were seasoned with sea salt and oregano. They weren’t greasy at all. The eggplant dip also contained roasted red pepper. It took a little while for the food to come out, but at least that way you know they are making it to order. I’ve had their falafel in the past and enjoyed that, too. For the dip, fries and two sodas, our total came to around $ 12.
