Went to the restaurant on a slow Saturday afternoon. My wife and I ordered two sandwiches and we presented our Groupons on my I Phone. The cashier said that we could only use one Groupon per visit. I told my wife that I will pay for my sandwich and that she could order separately. She said that makes no sense and she left to go shopping at Trader Joe’s next door. I sat and waited about 15 mins. for my sandwich and saw 3 to 4 employees standing around and talking. I came over to the cashier area and asked if someone was making my sandwich. He then asked me what I had ordered and I repeated my order to him. About 7 more mins. and my sandwich arrived. It took 22 mins. to make a simple turkey sandwich. My wife came back into Nana Fi’s and she was surprised that I had just received my sandwich. It was not busy at all. The woman who brought my sandwich to me said that she was sorry that they took so long and she blamed it on having 3 new employees. Baloney, they were all jaw-jacking with their mouths. Not impressed with my first visit.

Food was average nothing spectacular. The young Asian cashier had an attitude when I told him we’ll be using Groupon. I had to confront him saying if he doesn’t welcome Groupon users then they shouldn’t be advertising thru Groupon. He backed down and said nothing. We have never been there before and never knew the place even existed until Groupon. Their cream puffs were pretty good, sandwiches were ok since all we had were just turkey sandwiches and egg sandwich. Because of the experience they wouldn’t have our business again.

Great stop in a convenient location off the 5 freeway. The English muffin sandwich was great. We are saving the treats of lemon cake and cream puffs for later.

I love, love, love this bakery! I drive 10 mins out of my way just to get a pastry. I also purchased a cake for a co-workers birthday and that was amazing as well! A little pricey but oh so worth it! Highly recommend.

Not bad, the egg and spinach English muffin is great, just have them good off on so much butter and maybe use olive oil as an alternative. But then again, what else do you expect from a bakery!

Fantastic place! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a lot of options to choose from ranging from desserts to breakfast pastries, and all were very reasonably priced. Plus they are made from scratch!!! Great family owned business and worth a try!

They lady was soooo fabulously nice to get me a sandwich even though the deli was closed!!! I’m starving! I would’ve just eaten a lot of sweets! Which I might do anyway! I can NOT believe they have sooo many delicious options?

This place is fantastic. Every time I go, I’m treated with fantastic service and a comfortable environment. Their coffee is great and all of their bakery treats are next level. I usually order an egg sandwich with hashbrowns and avocado and believe me, it always hits the spot. Before Nanas, I never really enjoyed English Muffins, but on these sandwiches, they take it over the edge. My friends and I will definitely be coming back again and again.

This place never ceases to surprise me. Each experience has been a positive one and the food never disappoints. After reading some of these entries, the negative reviews are a surprise. I am definitely going to try the toast and avocado next time I drop in!

Bought some slices of assortment of cakes for group of women. I bought a German cake, carrot cake, coconut custard, hazel nut, and mocha chocolate. I tried the coconut, it was light, airy and not too sweet and both hazel nut and mocha was just as delicious. When the ladies all say it’s good and had more than three bites(we all shared) that’s a good sign that I’ll be bringing these pastries to another party or luncheon. I look forward to trying some of their fruit tarts and eclairs next.

Came in after teaching and I was hungry. They only had a couple of GF cookie variety, one was the dark chocolate peanut butter gluten-free($ 2.75 for one cookie), and the other was a small bag of gluten free«ugly cookies» $ 3.00. Got one of each and drove back to the studio, eating them on the way. umm… I’m not sure why… the cookies all tasted bitter, burnt(past the caramel, like really burnt sugar). For the similar price, I love the Trader Joe’s gluten free chocoloate cookies. And they are just next door ! Not a fan, sorry Nana Fi.

I go there all the time for breakfast. I get the English muffin with bacon egg and cheese. Not too fond of the coffee. Not my first choice, but it’s not bad. They seem to have half stocked pastries most of the time. But that just means that they sell their stuff and it’s always coming out fresh. Their fresh breads are the best!!!

I’m sorry. This place was totally over priced. We ordered a a cake for 20 at my sons bday but instead got a coffee cup. Don’t get me wrong it looked great but $ 40 for this cake was outrageous. It also only fed 20 people if you cut it in half. I mean really? Half a cake for everyone. Won’t be back. Would’ve given them one star but the volcano was a chocolate dipped waffle cone which I thought was cool.

We’ve been coming here for breakfast every Sunday for a few months now, and love it! Today was the first day we went on a Saturday, and met the owner, Peter, who is awesome. My personal favorites: the gluten free blueberry scone with a big cappuccino, and a French macaron or two on the side!(Naturally gluten free, unless they’re Oreo or cookie flavored, Etc) My husband’s favorites: the bear claw is his absolute favorite, although he rotates through the bear claw, the almond croissant, and the chocolate croissant, and loves them all! He always gets a cappuccino as well, and says they’re the best cappuccinos he’s ever had in the U.S.- he says they remind him of cappuccinos at home in Italy! These are big words here! ;) We love nana fi’s, and love coming here every week for an early morning breakfast before going to our volunteer projects together. Thank you for the delicious gluten free options as well!!!

Nana Fi’s now serves StumpTown Coffee. I had toast with a side of avocado. I was impressed with the amount of avocado I got for just a buck. The veggie sandwich is piled high with fresh ingredients. The place is very clean, the service was great and the prices are pretty average. I didn’t try any of the baked goods this time, but maybe sometime I will as they have quite an assortment of cheese cakes, cookies, and cake, all available by the slice as well as whole. They offer breakfast burritos on Saturday and Sunday only. I may need to go back this weekend and give them a try.

«OTHER» well established Bakery and Coffee shop must make a well worth note of this Bakery. The place is ample, clean, inviting and has wide selections. Holiday pies, pastries, coffee, cakes, breakfast menu, sandwiches, drinks :;you name it, they probably have it. They listen to you as well. The lady manager was gracious, friendly, courteous and one with a big smile on her face. I had pleasure of visiting this place twice in one week. Day time was quite busy, and that is very noteworthy. Laguna woods needed this type of meeting place for their residents. This place offers ample seating arrangements and clean to say the least. Welcome to OUR area.

This is an excellent bakery with exceptional sandwiches too. I only wish I tried it sooner especially since its just around the corner from the Trader Joes I shop at. Baked items are tasty and made from scratch. Sandwiches use quality meats on excellent breads and made to order. Next time I’ll come here for breakfast items. This is the kind of neighborhood shop I like to support over the big generic chains. Home made, fresh and different.

A HIDDENGEMINLAGUNAHILLS! YUMMMMMMMMMMMY! This is one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to! first let me start off with their soda machine, they have a bunch of different sodas with flavors but that’s not even the best part. The pastries are delicious! I got cream puffs, a black forest cake, canolis, and oh my flying freaking fruitcake, their fruit tarts are so fresh ! can you say cheat day?! their mouth watering pastries exceed all expectations. The service is great, the staff is super helpful and patient. Their breakfast/lunch menu is limited but quality over quantity. It is a bit hidden by El Torito and Marshalls(I think) but there is ample parking. I will definitely be putting on some pounds thanks to their delicate delectable treats!
