Got there at 8:28 and the guys were cleaning up. I asked when they closed, and the guy laughs and says 5 minutes. I knew that was crap since no one closes at 8:40, but he obviously didn’t want to serve me. Good luck in business– I hear the economy is awesome and you don’t need EVERY customer. I told him I’d leave then, and he laughed again and said why sarcastically. Walked over to El Polo Loco.

California burrito is legit. Everything is super good. One of, if not the best Mexican I’ve had.

So great! I had the grilled fish salad, lots of flavor. The man working the front was so kind and helpful too.

The day I visited, I noticed poor food handling and hygiene standards. The guy behind the counter, took a food tray, from a pile of unwashed trays, and proceeded to place that tray directly on top of the pile of taco and Burrito wraps. I know the trays were not clean because the now top try on the tray pile still had remanence of an earlier meal, meaning the bottom of the tray now sitting on the wraps pile would do also. And clean or not, I don’t believe it to be good practice to place serving trays on top of wraps. Perhaps the guy was super busy and having a bad day. The food there is usually great, so I don’t want to tarnish the restaurants reputation from that one experience. But, it did happen and to make sure it doesn’t again, for a better experience for everyone, Management should address it.

Chronic has excellent food. It is consistent and always satisfies. The Al Pastor is the best on the menu. I also love the grilled fish tacos. The people who work in this location are kind and professional. We love this place and keep coming back.

If you join the rewards program its BOGO for a taco excluding Fish and Shrimp. I got the Al Pastor burrito and asada taco with the free pollo taco. The burrito was wrapped poorly so all the stuffing fell apart and just was a mess. The asada didn’t have too much flavor to it and was dry. I thought the the burrito was good and was worth the bucks. Solid spot

Love! Love! I’ve had almost all their options — carne asada, chicken, shrimp, fish… and all super yummy. You pick your toppings — they charge for guac — and sauce, so make it what you want. And you can’t beat the price. And the staff was fun too. Makes you want to go back :)

I really don’t get all the hype. The wet carne asada burrito was mediocre. They didn’t even bother warming it under a salamander to melt the cheese. One of the ladies on the assembly line had the personality of a cabbage head and looked like she would rather be having a root canal sans novicaine. I will say that the one highlight of my meal was the taco al pastor. It was dilicious and single handedly brought my two-star rating up to three.

Awesome!!! It’s set up like a Chipotle but they do not charge you extra for guacamole! I got the California Burrito(it has fries in it) and my husband got theBreakfast Burrito with Chorizo and they were both great!

Tacos are way overpriced. You can get better quality tacos at a cheaper price from an authentic mexican taco stop. And don’t get chips cause they barely give you any. They say chips and salsa but they’re greedy with their salsa so its more like Chips with a sample of salsa.

Chronic tacos is one of my favorite Mexican food places and they are leaps and bounds above the garbage that Chipotle has become. The meat is much fresher and overall the owners and ingredients are great! This place kills most other resteraunts of the same style for me. Would highly recommend the taco Tuesday deals and check in coupons!

Have been to this location about 3 times now– very friendly when you walk in– explain the options. The tacos I’ve eaten there are great. Basically your traditional street tacos. I’ve had the carne Asada and pollo asado which were great. Seasoned nicely. I’ll be back!

Love it! Excellent, friendly service. Choose your Toppings, meat, tortilla. Had the sauteed Mahi Mahi fish tacos. Excellent! Added chips, salsa and a drink for $ 2.50. I’m bit picky about my tortilla chips. Pleasantly surprised by these, they were not greasy and they are corn not flour. Yummy!

Summary… A let down Went here expecting a rival to Chipotle and it was not such. Seemed like a knock off of Chipotle done by high school seniors who didn’t get how Mexican food was to taste. Americanized. Boring beans. Store bought cheese. Not that great overall. The staff were just as bland as the food. I might go back here if I had a BOGO but not for full price at all

Chronic Tacos is my go to spot for fish burritos. They make the fish fresh, right when you order it. You can get it either grilled or breaded and deep fried– both ways are INCREDIBLE. The Spanish rice is really bomb and contrary to the black beans from chipotle, these black beans never give me heartburn or a stomach ache. I love the«baja style» with cheese, fresh lime, and cabbage. The chips are also light, crispy, and always fresh. Yum yum yum!

I had heard about this place from my friends and was surprised at the 3 stars. This place blew me away with how they took the subway custom sandwhich concept and made it work for burritos and tacos. It is a very hands on experience where you feel as if you are making your own custom meal! Not only were the tacos fantastic but the original horchata drink was amazing. I’ll be returning here soon!

Craving tacos after work on a Tuesday… Go figure :) Went to their old locationand saw they had moved. Trekked over the freeway to check out their new location and stocked up on a few street style tacos per their Tuesday special and a beer battered fish taco. I was not impressed. Everything was really salty. Only item I really enjoyed was the fish taco. Not in a hurry to return.

This was my first visit to chronic tacos and definitely not my last! The woman working up front was super sweet and very helpful. The set up is reminiscent to chipotle. I had the carne asada and pollo asado tacos and customized it to my liking — they were amazing and full of flavor. The ghost pepper sauce had a kick to it that I loved & they sell them by the bottles as well! So glad I found this place

Although Chronic is a chain, this is the first location I visited. I appreciated that the woman working the front didn’t rush us to order, and took time to give recommendations and answer questions. We ordered a shrimp quesadilla and two potato tacos. The food took about 25 minutes to come out. I like the design of cooking the meat in the kitchen, then bringing out the food to be customized with guac, cheese, salsa, and the rest of the condiments in front of you. Pricing was comparable to a Rubios, Sharky’s, or Wahoos. The food was on the salty side, but edible.

Food is terrible and overpriced. We mentioned we hadn’t been there before and we didn’t know how it worked and the girl didn’t even explain it to us. No one in the place during dinner time and I wonder why. Disappointment at its finest. Won’t be coming back here, stick to chipotle.
