Let me start off by saying I love Corner Bakery. It’s always good and always has great service. I’ve never had a problem, but today I ordered pasta to-go. I’ve done this before and never had a problem. The bowl wasn’t even half filled. I work with food and I always make sure people are getting what they paid for. Not filling the dish is very frustrating, I’am paying for this food, the least you could do is fill it.

I’ve officially given up on this Corner Bakery. I’ve been going here for years now and in the past 6 months each time I go the food gets worse and worse. The first terrible experience I had was when I went inside to eat my lunch and the waiter brought me my sandwich with my soup spilt all over it(making it extremely soggy). He then says«oops sorry about that» sets my plate down and walks away. I hate being the type of person to complain so I didn’t say anything and I ate my soggy $ 10 sandwich. The next few times I ordered take out they have forgotten my sides of bread, which I get charged for, every single time. I have told myself over and over again that I’m not going there anymore, but I always end up caving and getting it because I’m not a huge fan of Panera and for some reason each time I think its going to be better. Well, today was the last time I go to this Corner Bakery. I call in my order and go inside to pick it up, I see that the young kid putting my bag together AGAIN forgets the extra bread for the soup that I paid for, so I remind him and he gives me the bread. When I get home I open up the back and realize they didn’t make me the right sandwich and the soup was so thick it looked like baby food. Not to mention I found an old piece of broccoli in the soup. I couldn’t even finish my meal. Not a good place to eat, there customer service and food is lower than 1 star.

The portions and the food quality are not good as it was before. In pick hours, employees are running like chicken without heads. I think management needs to hire more people at least for this branch that is always super busy. The south coast location is much better.

Unhappy with my morning experience at this location. Went for breakfast with a friend on a Thursday morning and did not enjoy it. The breakfast flatbreads came out messy and looked like a 5 year old put it together. Empty coffee in the containers. Had to flag down an employee and ask her to make some fresh coffee. Ketchup was crusty at the top and pretty empty in at least 3 bottles that we tried and no fresh baked pastries in the case. Unusual. It was really an annoyance… I won’t be back to this location. It is nothing like the south coast plaza corner bakery.

I would like to say I love there panini breakfast, just hate going in on cashiers line, but yesterday, MAkeila, thank you for making this visit awesome. She got my order right and she also took the time to give me all my food in each individual bag. Thank you for her.

Sandwich was bland and dry. There are too many good sandwich shops around to ever go back here

The day ended with a great customer experience. Logan’s food for his 7th birthday party never arrived for delivery, and when we called for a status it turns out it was never made. Other moms at birthday party suggested to cancel the Corner Bakery order since there was probably enough Costco pizza. I think the Catering Manager heard that in the background. Before my wife could even try and cancel the order the Catering Manager said«sit tight we will bring your order to you right away at no charge.» Nice touch Corner Bakery. Logan had an awesome birthday party and parents loved the sandwiches and salad. Thanks a bunch Royce!!!

We got here had order rung up wrong, got refund and re-rung again wrong. Now that’s 50 $ pending charges to get rung up again so it’s 75 $ pending against my available credit, so I said no, just forget it, i need my available credit. Got 5 $ gift card for the overcharge. Potatoes were cold on my omelet. Banana, walnut, cranberry pancakes came and missed the cranberries which we had to request. The guy said it didn’t come with cranberries. I said but the picture of the item had them and walked away saying whatever. Avocado on omelet was so tiny(two quarters in size). Ask for warm potatoes got attitude and daughter caught his sarcastic face(like this is a joke) when he was delivering to table. Not coming to this location again. They messed up the guy and kids order behind us too and insisted on seeing the receipt before he’d help them.

Asian is been here for a while and the food is good. The service is also decent. They bring you brought your food and the staff is friendly when you order. Just like the other locations, you don’t get a lot of meat on your sandwich, the flatbreads are weak and minuscule They do have a good selection of beverages and their TVs are brewed fresh. The macaroni and cheese is also outstanding as well are the soups

Kind of quiet right before closing on a Sunday night. Typical South Orange County chain restaurant, the white folk bullshitting behind the counter and playing on their phones while the Latino guy busts his ass cleaning up and running around doing everything else. Actually there was a cute young brunette girl server who was friendly and helpful. The food was good, but a little too salty for me.

This low rating is for this exact location. I love Corner Bakery, but this exact location has TERRIBLE service! I think it was the manager who took our order, but he wasn’t very nice, and didn’t even say«thank you.» And the the server wasn’t good at all. She didn’t even say«hi» and had no smile on her face(she even looked mad) and was just kind of was like«soup?» «Panini?» If you’re looking to go somewhere with good service, this isn’t the right location for you. I regret coming here. I couldn’t enjoy the food…

In my first review, I discussed calling in an order, than waiting a total of 30 minutes in the store to get my to-go order. I even stalled leaving to pick it up to give them more of a cushion. I’m not an irate person by any means, but I figured I might as well send in a comment on their website. About a week later, I was contacted back by an area manager who sent me vouchers. I was expecting a free cookie or coffee, but no. I received $ 20 worth of vouchers, which was wonderful and great customer service. I was more frustrated than angry, and appreciated actually getting a response. I now just avoid this location, since it’s extremely slow. The Irvine Spectrum location is much faster.

I haven’t been here in a couple of years and they are improved from what I recall. I ordered the TRIOSALAD with TUNASALAD, DCCHICKENSALAD and KALESALAD. Each one tasted fresh and tasty. They didn’t go overboard with red onions so my heartburn didn’t «fire up». Thank you… There was also a small portion of mixed greens with a dressing as some form of added bonus I guess. The roll was included and was soft and fresh albeit a bit salty. The staff are friendly and helpful and the dining room comfortable albeit maybe not as clean as I’d expect. It made for a nice place for a healthier lunch option and to read the provided newspaper on this cold and rainy day. I will keep them on the list for whenever I’m seeking out a salad joint. I would’ve «sniffed in» on a soup but I’m not into heavy creamy soups(excluding mushroom bisque or pumpkin bisque) and I can’t eat tomato… so there isn’t a whole lot left.

I’ve never eaten at the restaurant before but I’ve had their to go lunch boxes for our corporate function. I’ve had their pretzel sandwich, the pretzel is a bit salty for my taste buds but the lunch boxes are worth paying $ 9. It comes with a choice of sandwich, fruits, potato chips and a choice of cookie. I recently tried the tuna sandwich and it was yummy! Can’t forget to mention, their snicker doodle and Toffee cookies are so Yummy yum-yum! I don’t have a sweet tooth but I can definitely eat a few of their snicker doodle and Toffee cookies. As for service, I came here last week with a coworker to pick up our orders and the guy at the cashier was very helpful, friendly and professional. *Sandwiches are pretty big

Two hours of nothing but chocolate and no food left us kinda hungry and in search for savory. We decided to see what was cheap and in the area — voila! The Corner Bakery popped up about a mile away. Not too shabby. The place was about 15 minutes away from closing but they still let us in anyway, took our order and were super nice. Since I didn’t want anything too heavy, given the chocolate intake, I chose a salad. Their Santa Fe is pretty filling and has great toppings — corn, tortilla strips, tomatoes and other yummy things I can’t really remember with a great dressing. Since it was closing, they were generous with extra bread, refills, etc. Pretty cool. We had a great time and loved the extra attention and tried to dine and get out of there as fast as we could. As always, a great filling meal for a couple of bucks. I love that they have some great flavored tea vs the usual soda.

Service is quick & servers are great. I would have given them 5 stars except for the portions continue to get smaller & smaller. I remember when one could not finish their sandwich/salad combo. The half sandwich was huge and they used to give really large salad portions. Used to eat my salad and be full. Had the sandwich for my next meal. Food quality has remained the same. Very delicious sandwiches. On cold days, the tomato basil soup is perfect. Pair it with the chicken pesto sandwich for a great lunch. On warmer days, opt for any of their salads. They are all good! My fave is their Caesars salad!

It’s the bakery on the corner… hence corner bakery! Came here for breakfast and I am a fan of their steel cut oatmeal. I am not sure what brand of oats they are using, but it is very tasty! They have other breakfast options but I always get the oatmeal because it’s not Quaker oats. Plus the combination of fruit and walnuts they put in it is very delicious. I also like their coffee. I usually get the hazelnut coffee and I do not even have to put creamer because it is good alone. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. It is a great coffee shop to study in and people watch. It’s a cozy café that has a lot of chairs and tables. Also, the outdoor seating is nice too. The staff is attentive and provide great customer service. I also like their power paninis! Yummy!
