Came back here after we also checked out Bistro K for a drink to hang out with a couple of friends. The place doesn’t feel crowded and are able to talk comfortably to visit. There’s plenty of room in between tables although we sat at the bar. Cocktails are $ 9+ and the bar tenders don’t push you to keep on ordering. Would come back here again. My friend had the avocado salad and liked it… I didn’t have anything to eat as we already had sushi before we came here. The crowd is older 45+.

BBQ chicken pizza was perfect with crispy bread and great toppings. The homemade hummus in happy hour was not good at all. It was not taste like hummus… it is not recommended!!! The staffs were friendly and nice, one of them by the name of «Jose», was really friendly and cool guy.

Based on the reviews here, I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza which was good. The server also brought the table 5 hickory-smoked wings. They were tasty, not overly hot with good flavor. The service was good, but not the fastest. This lounge is exactly that. A chill place to relax, not a fast-paced eatery.

Do not let the name fool you. This place has so much more than pizza. Every part of our meal was chef-quality prepared and beautifully presented! The shrimp scampi was amazing. We had 19 people in our party, 15 of them teenagers, and the service was excellent! Go there for Happy hour!

Thought this place was great… so disappointed. Took forever to get someone to take our order, messed up our(my) order and took even longer to bring out the corrected pizza. The food is good, but if the service sucks, why bother? I’d recommend somewhere else to go if you’re craving pizza. Smh.

This place really needs to change its name. When my friend said«let’s go to pizza lounge» I thought umm no thanks! But she assured me it had way more than pizza. To my surprise this restaurant had a ton of selection! From salad to sandwiches to pasta and pizza to chicken and fish. It’s almost like a mini Cheesecake Factory. I would definitely eat here again. We got the shrimp ceviche, Hawaiian pizza(their ham was very thick just FYI), meatballs with mashed potatoes and the tomato salad. All VERY good.

Food was okay… not very flavorful. Our server forgot about us… waters were not refilled in a timely matter. Probably won’t return.

My friend and I had such a great first time experience! We had the BBQ Chicken Pizza and some wine, both DELICIOUS. Our server recommended the house wine and it was perfection(if you love red wine, must try) The lounge has a great ambiance and friendly service!

Sorry to say, the place has cool atmosphere, and its a nice hangout. but don’t try their Pesto Mushroom Pizza, if you know how Pesto should be made. It was totally lacking any Pesto sauce, and when I asked them to 2x check if it was correct. they say ya. and gave me this white looking sauce and said this is what’s in it. sorry, I don’t think so… However, their 50% off wine bottle deal on Wednesday however made up the food issue. so here you go.

Pizza Lounge is the best hole in the wall Italian I have had in some time. The chicken goat cheese pasta is incredible. The selection of beer is diverse. Jose is a great bartender who really serves the best experience he can. Pizza Lounge super fun time for the win!

This place is a hidden gem in a strip mall. Odd location but totally worth trying. I was a little scared based on some of the reviews I read, but I took a chance and bought a Groupon for $ 50 worth of food for $ 30. I was not disappointed! I had originally thought that this was a pizza place, and seeing that they had gluten free pizza on the menu, I was sold. However, when my boyfriend and I got to the restaurant, we were surprised by the variety on the menu. Not only do they have specialty pizzas, but they also have seafood, steak, pasta, sandwiches, and some gourmet appetizers. Our server was very sweet, and because it was our first time there, we even got the choice of a free hummus or wings appetizer. We went with the buffalo wings which were pretty darn good. I also ordered the grilled artichoke which was AMAZING! It came with 3 different dipping sauces. I was in heaven! For our entrees, I ordered the goat cheese pesto pasta(subbed with gluten free noodles — awesome! Not many places have this option). It was delicious! My boyfriend ordered the special of the night which was peppercorn steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. He really enjoyed his meal also — apparently it was the 2nd best steak he’s ever had. The drinks were great, also. The price was a little steep but thankfully we had a Groupon. For an appetizer, two entrees, and 2 rounds of drinks, the bill came to $ 90($ 40 after the Groupon). However, the food was so good I think it was worth the splurge. The atmosphere of this place is great for date night. It really is like a lounge — you can sit in a booth with pillows. Lighting is low so it’s a nice ambiance. The bar is very cool, too and there are lots of TVs around. All in all, service is great, food is great, and it’s a cool place to hang out. They have some really great specials all week, too. I’m coming back for«Wine Wednesdays» because you can get any bottle of wine for 50% off! Also, on Saturdays, if you buy 2 entrees you get a free bottle of house wine. Check out their website because they have specials every day of the week.

We go here often not only because it’s in our neighborhood, but also for the great food and service. Shrimp and chipotle pizza is my favorite, but they have something for everyone. Service is always awesome. Ask for Cristina, one lovely waitress inside and out.

This location could be a gold mine. Even though it’s in a strip mall it’s a great location & there aren’t many options for late night dining in LN. It’s good sized w/an awesome neighborhood feel bar right in the center. There’s just a nice overall, cozy vibe even w/the big screen tvs(that are usually spinning because the Internet is too slow & obviously can’t keep up w/the streaming music & multiple shows!!). Pros: Cozy leather booth seating, large high top dining tables & bar w/lots of seating. I enjoy coming w/my kids or my husband. Wait staff & bartenders are helpful & friendly. They have a great late night happy hour & nightly specials like wino Wednesday’s for half price, bottles of wine. Cons: The main con is that this place is called the Pizza Lounge! Their pizza is mediocre at best. When you have multiple restaurants w/amazing wood fire pizza ovens within 2 miles of you, you’ve got to be different… or better! The menu REALLY needs some work. The pizza & salads are mediocre at best. There is usually one main special & sometimes it’s good but if my husband gets that there isn’t anything on the menu I actually want. They need a couple of great red meat choices & at least 2 fish choices. After reading my cons I must be really lazy to keep going back… Laguna isn’t that far away.

No complaints! Pizza was great, hummus was great, house vodka was amazing. Service was good, we had 3 different servers though that was kind of confusing. My local friend took me while I was in town, I told her I wanted to experience Cali pizza. She took me here, and I loved it.

Went to Pizza Lounge because I found them via groupon. We got in minutes before happy hour ended & the waitress was very nice & got our order in. In addition to 2 orders of wings, we got a large pizza(it was a combo meat pizza– don’t recall the name) & a Caesar salad. The crust itself was good but the center of the pizza wasn’t baked through. The pizza in the center was still a little«dough-y» and the cheese wasn’t quite melted through. It would’ve been great if baked just a tad longer because the flavors were there. We took home half the pizza & it was great as leftovers when we cooked it through in the toaster oven. The Caesar salad was disappointing. We like really green, leafy romaine & what we got was white & yellow romaine that was mostly the core of the romaine. Between the 4 of us, we didn’t even eat half of it. The restaurant is as you would expect of a lounge– dark but comfy. There’s a big bar in the center that was packed & tables that surround it. There were tvs where we sat, & unfortunately during our dinner, the program that was on was a fundraiser for children who were born with cleft palates. I tried not to look up at the surgical procedures while I was eating but it was right in front of me so I caught glimpses of the program when I would look up. I would’ve asked the waitress to change the channel but didn’t have the chance to do so. Overall, pizza was good & I’d go back to try other menu items.

Absolutely love this place! It’s definitely not your normal pizza place like you would expect. It’s a very nice restaurant with a full bar & spectacular food! Oh, and can’t forget to mention the staff is incredible! They’re so quick and kind! We ordered the Brie & Fig flat bread and the fried calamari for an appetizer. I had the shrimp scampi for dinner. Seriously to die for! Best shrimp scampi I’ve ever had! I highly recommend giving the pizza lounge a try! I know I’ll definitely be back

We walk in and no one greets us. After about 3 minutes we are told to sit wherever. 10 minutes pass and no one comes to take our order. My hubby goes to the bar to order their BlackBerry cider and the bartender had no clue what he was talking about. He showed her the cider listed on the menu and she said they haven’t ordered that in a long time. He then asks the bartender for a michelada and she had no clue what he was talking about. Although she wasn’t knowledgeable, she was friendly and we felt bad for her because she was the ONLY one working with about 30 customers! What was management thinking having one worker on a Saturday afternoon? We ended up getting the Belching Beaver(on tap), which is always a great attribute for any establishment. I got their mezcal flight that was supposed to be served with sangrita, orange and lime wedges. Well it came with none of those fancy extras but it did come with a nice bug in the bottom of one of the shot glasses. Our pizza arrived about 30 minutes later and it was cold. The crust and flavor was crappy compared to the Huntington Beach location.
