Rausch Physical Therapy & Sports Performance

I was referred by my medical group for neck issues. The physical therapy itself was great and I learned lots of preventative exercises that have helped a lot.
Unfortunately, the billing department is a nightmare. They billed the wrong insurance. It’s been 2 months and I still have 9 outstanding claims because they won’t bill my medical group. When I call they say it’s all fine and covered but my medical group says they still haven’t received one bill from them. Months after my therapy has ended I’m more stressed than ever knowing I have 9 bills that they don’t seem to care about? I call them at least once a week to resolve this issue but they still haven’t figured it out nor do they seem concerned.
To be honest the stress isn’t worth it! I wish I skipped the physical therapy or found one with a more professional billing department.

I’ve been meaning to send a note off for a few weeks but just wanted to send a quick thank you to your team for the outstanding service and treatment I received while rehabbing my shoulder. In particular Ashley, who is extremely knowledgeable at what she does but more importantly seems to genuinely care about her patients and their recovery. I’ve been to other PT clinics for ruptured Achilles and other ailments and always dreaded heading to therapy as everyone there, specifically the clinic employees, seemed depressed to be at work. It was not a positive environment conducive to a speedy recovery. At Rausch, the vibe is just the opposite from the greeting when you walk in, the music, conversations and certainly the treatment, instruction and communication from Ashley and the rest of your team.
Keep up the great work and thank you Ashley for turning surgery into a somewhat enjoyable experience, crazy as it may sound!

I can’t say enough great things about them. I feel lucky to be in their care. The physical therapists and staff are super friendly and knowledgable. My son and I have been in their care and couldn’t be happier. Kevin is a great PT and has a fun sense of humor. Lindsay has been amazing with my 7 year old son. The whole clinic has a positive, fun, and upbeat vibe!

I have been going to Rauch PT since the end of December after having knee surgery. I needed a place close to home since I couldn’t drive, so I used Unilocal and saw their great reviews so I gave it a try. I was placed with Jessica and she is AMAZING! My surgeon just set me loose after the surgery without too much direction and she made me feel confident in my recovery and never skipped a beat (stretches, anti-​gravity treadmill, exercises, etc). I go in each week and tell her my successes and struggles and she adjustments my exercises accordingly. She also works in exercises I can do in hotel rooms since I travel a lot for work. I am so thankful I found Raucsh and Jessica!

This review is a bit overdue as I’ve had constant and consistent amazing results with everyone that I work with here.
Whether I’m calling in or do a walk-​in to setup an appointment, I am always treated like family. I’m writing this review because of many previous positive experiences and a very notable recent experience. My current physical therapist is Jessica.
I began to develop mild plantar fasciitis in July 2015. The pain was moderate so I continued train and run with it for several months. As my mileage began to pick up in preparation for my Ironman in December, the pain also began to pick up. I could not run past 10 miles without limping afterwards.
I knew I would be in trouble if I followed my regimen and started to ramp up on miles. I went in to see Jessica. She asked me several questions and did a very thorough evaluation to diagnose if it was in fact plantar fasciitis and not something else. She then had me run on their Alter-​G treadmill (anti-​gravity treadmill) and showed me with cameras what was wrong with my running stride that was likely causing the problem.
As I had mentioned before, my experience here has always been amazing, but here’s the kicker with this experience:
I was about 8 weeks out from my Ironman.
Within 2 weeks, my running form/​technique changed completely.
Within another 2 weeks, my mileage was up to approximately 13 miles with mild to no pain.
At the 6 week mark, I was able to hit 20 miles with no pain.
Week 8 — I finished my 2^nd Ironman with no issues.
It doesn’t stop there. With the previous way I was running, I felt like I had plateau’d and anymore pushing would result in injury. With the new way I’m running I just opened up an entirely new level of ability and who knows what the ceiling is as I haven’t hit it yet.
If you’ve been hurt or injured and are looking for a way to get back on your feet quickly and correctly — Rausch PT is the way to go!

I came in pain and left not only pain free but well versed in how to prevent future injuries. Sean was my teacher as well as physical therapist. Every day without pain in my shoulder I am grateful for his skill, knowledge, and expertise. That he is a caring, friendly person doesn’t hurt either! The entire staff at Rausch Physical Therapy was professional, flexible and friendly.

Just a note to express my gratitude for all that their staff has done for me to date re: my recovery. Ashley and the others (Brent, Lyndsay, Nicole, Sanket, Aaron, Lisa, Cheryl, Sara, Doug and last but not least Michelle and Lindsey at the front desk — hoping I’m not forgetting anyone) are AWESOME!

Ashley is extremely knowledgeable, amazing and has been so patient with me (I know putting up with me is more work than the therapy — :)). She has also given me exercise pointers to help me above and beyond the therapy. I couldn’t be happier with her care/​treatment!
Lyndsay (who I nicknamed the «Toe Guru») is equally amazing!
All of the aides (as mentioned previously) are outstanding and great to work with!

I have had physical therapy sessions with Jessica Snyder. She is the best out there. I had severe nerve pain in my lower back and after a few sessions the pain was gone and I am back in tip top shape. Highly recommend her for and issues you may be having.

Just a quick shout out. I have had major sciatica problems for a year. My Dr. finally sent me to do some PT. I was lucky enough to be sent to Rausch Physical Therapy in Laguna Niguel. I was assigned to Dustin. In 2 months Dustin was able to give me such relief and now I am pain free. I know that I need to keep up with the stretches that he taught me, but what he accomplished in such a short time is amazing. It is Pilates based and amazing. If you are in the area I HIGHLY recommend Rausch and Dustin!

I am super accident prone and keep hurting myself, so I’ve been coming here for almost two years with different injuries. Jessica is awesome and so are all the aides, especially Cheryl and Hank! Highly recommend Rausch for anyone, but especially for athletes.

I could really go on about how incredible Rausch Physical Therapy is. It was such a pleasant experience with the whole staff and I always looked forward to my appointment. I am especially thankful for Jessica Snyder who was my physical therapist. I had Peroneal Tendon surgery on my ankle and have been battling pain mostly running but even walking for over a year now. I have been a runner since high school and ended up having Peroneal Tendon surgery on my ankle after my last track season in college. Running again seemed foreign to me, for what seemed to be a very long time. To be able to run again now is a dream come true. Jessica is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, encouraging, patient, and so many other wonderful qualities I could go on about. She is one of those people who you can tell truly cares about every person she works with. She is intentional about doing things accurately for each person individually and makes physical therapy fun and enjoyable. I am so grateful for her and all she has invested in my rehabbing, she has made an incredible impact in my life.
Again if anyone is trying to find a place to go to for their season in any kind of rehabbing whatsoever I would highly recommend going to Rausch. Your experience there will be great and I can say that with absolute confidence!

I am a DPT Student and Chapman University and Lyndsay DeFilippo gave us an inservice about Graston Technique. She was so informative, knowledgable, and friendly. I was truly impressed by this facility and would strongly recommend this clinic to patients.

The facility is great! All the equipment you could ever think of for recovery. Everyone is very nice and very knowledgable. Jessica is my PT and she is great! Super nice and really cares about my success and getting to a 100% full recovery as fast as possible. She has helped me tremendously on an injury I have had for more than 6 yrs and it’s only been about 5 or 6 weeks. I highly highly recommend Rausch physical therapy for anyone of all ages. They work with high caliber athletes and anyone else that’s in need.

5 gold stars for Rausch PT. I tore my ACL in the summer of 2014 and found Rausch online. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and comfortable. Christina developed a PT program for me that has worked wonders. Not only is she great at her job, but she has a great personality and has put up with my whining and sarcasm for over 5 months. If she wasn’t married and about to have a baby, I may have proposed right inside the clinic.
Christina’s fiesty side kick, Bree, is also amazing. I’m pretty sure she’s the little sister I never had. I am still in shock that I was able to fully recover in a little over 5 months and also meet two women who were able to put up with me for that long. They both deserve medals.
If you have any type of injury I highly recommend Rausch PT. There isn’t one bad thing I can say about the place. Well, maybe one. The water cups are tiny. Teeny tiny. Like toddler size. When Christina and Bree are forcing me to do squat after squat the splash of water really doesn’t do it for me.
If they step up their water game I may have to nominate them for physical therapy clinic of the decade.

Thank you for making my first physical therapy visit so great! I was nervous about going but was quickly put at ease by Christina. She did an awesome job explaining things to me and talking about what therapy would be for the future. I’m hopeful that with every visit my pain and rehab after knee surgery will be better and better.
I am going to bring my student athlete in for a session once a week to help keep her healthy and pain free.

I came in today to see Dustin. I’ve been having some SI joint pain and based on some conversations that I have had with him, I knew he would be the right therapist to see. Dustin is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He was able to give me some immediate relief and some home exercises to provide even more. He made sure that I completely understood what was going on with my body. The staff here is sweet and the facility is clean and organized.
