Ed is great. They just moved back to Laguna Niguel to the 3 Flag Center on Cabot. Brought my MacBook Pro in as it was shutting down randomly. Ed worked with Apple to diagnose the problem, which started as a problem with the graphics card, but ended up being an issue with the mother board. Through his persistence, Ed got Apple to replace the MB under warranty even though by laptop was more than 3 yrs old. Ed provides reasonable advice and his rates are fair. If you want someone that actually knows what they are doing, you want Ed working with your devices.

Used them many times in the past. Seem to be no longer interested in the business. While repairing my laptop they cracked my case and glued the 1 inch crack quite sloppily at that I must say. The did not tell me that it happened. Very unperfessional. My laptop WAS in perfect shape with not 1 scratch on it. Very deceitful and sneaky. Last time I will do business there.

I’ve used Compuboost for many years and Ed comes through every time. Real friendly and completes work in very reasonable time.
He keeps our family’s MacBooks running and has some nice refurbished inventory too. Will be in soon to see if he has a refurb iPhone 6 in stock. See you soon!

Got my MacBook Air screen replaced here. I know it’s a super tricky repair and it was completed in just a day. He was honest about repair and parts being used. The store is quite hectic, but from the number of computers waiting to be fixed, I knew it was a popular shop. Definitely recommend it vs sending your computer to some unknown place over the Internet.

I own a business and have used Compuboost many times over the last 10 years for computer repair. They have done great work in the past and I am picking up a computer that was completerly rebuilt by Ed 2 years ago and in now for a virus clean up. He always gets it right the first time, never needs a redo, and is always ready when promised.

A good friend and neighbor recommended Compuboost. Its been in business in Laguna Niguel for YEARS. In the past I had used Best Buy and quite frankly I found Best Buy to be an absolute nightmare. I gave Compuboost a try and I will never go anywhere else. The owner LISTENED to what my computer issues were, REPAIRED and IMPROVED my old-​ish laptop (I can eek out a few more years of use on it now which is a huge benefit) and did it all in a timely fashion. I got my laptop back and it was all upgraded and working well (fast and no longer sounds like a blow-​dryer!). He put all my old data back on including mail files! Everything was just as I left it and I didn’t have to re-​install a bunch of programs or files by myself. Yes, its more costly than Best Buy, but well worth it to have a knowledgeable individual provide you with personalized service.
