I think this place is under new ownership. But it’s good! They’re nice and friendly. It’s L&L, so you know what you’re getting. The place lunch portions are pretty big. I always get the Mahi Mahi plate, and I’m never disappointed. So ono! You also get a free drink if you get the plate. Not a bad deal!

Ate here once while I was in Maui. It was excellent, but it also wasn’t terrible. I tried the chicken teriyaki bowl, and a little bit of the kalua pork bowl. I would say the chicken was much better than the pork as the pork didn’t have much flavor to it.

People are friendly & patient. Food pretty decent like any other local food place!

Pretty good. Quite tasty, and very quick. Quite convenient if you’re staying in this part of the island, and don’t feel like driving down to Aloha Plate Lunch. Portions are reasonable. Not low in calories or grease. However, compare to Honokowai Okazugya Deli. .. which according to the blue book has a former Mama’s Fish house chef. L&L has tastier macaroni salad, and is no frills-​feed-​me-​now-​hit-​the-​spot type of food. The spare ribs plate was ono.

This wasn’t open (or more like I didn’t notice this being open in March/​April) so when the sis mentioned that this exist… I was excited though by this time I was all «spam musubi-​ed out!»
The cashier /​server behind the counter was friendly and patient (with me figuring out what to order) … prompt service.
Food: it’s ok… typical L&L (yes, just like what I eat in the Bay Area). They displayed the calories for each dish/​entrée… That’s the main reason why I had a hard time figuring out what to eat… «do I really want an 800+ calories dinner?»
In the end… if you need a quick meal… worth checking out. Prices are reasonable but you do pay for what you get. I suggest doing something active the next day…

Brand new, nice and clean place. The cashier was very helpful. I had the usual Mini Barbecue Chicken with white rice and macaroni salad and a drink. One thing I realized was, all L & L Barbecues are really consistent when it comes to the food. The barbecue chicken tastes the same no matter what location you go too.
