Love the shoes here, but $ 140. For a pair of sandals and it seemed it was almost too much trouble for the guy to run my credit card. 75cents for a carrier bag which is advertising their store is just an insult

Great selection of sandals! We also got a nice offer that included some earrings! My wife got some reef sandals that have way more support than the ones she was wearing! Old navy ones are in the garbage now! There is lots of walking so be sure to do yourself a favor and go in!!!

This is my type of casual high end shoe store. I found some Cushe sandals that look like shoes that I just love for walking around Hawaii. They carry Mesphisto and other nice brands. Would rather shop here than the Walking Company nearby. Funny my wife came here for sandals and couldn’t find what she wanted and I end up with shoes I didn’t know I needed.

Spent $ 128 for a really neat pair of sandals. Sales staff was bored to be bothered by my purchase. Sent me away with no bag … Not even a shoe box !! Just $ 128 sandals wrapped in brown tissue paper. Really ?? This place is definitely not typical of Maui.

I went back here a couple times and bought a pair of sandals for myself and my mom. They are the island made sandals that comes in a few colors. They are so comfortable. I mean, really comfortable. Your feet will love them. I’m giving them the 4 stars for the sandals, not the service or anything.

First off, to RON who commented about the bag thing. Matt was right. PLASTICBAGSAREBANNED. The reason you were able to get your«heavy duty resort bag with ropes» is because it’s not a PLASTICBAG. They are called SHOPPINGBAGS. So no, there is no «DIFFERENTLAW» on the other side of the mall. While I understand where you’re coming from about why you feel you shouldn’t have to pay for a canvas bag after spending so much money there, let me just say, if you can afford to drop $ 130 at any store, you shouldn’t be bitching about 75 cents. Now on to my review of the store! :) I was so happy to find the Sanuk slippers that I wanted. I was looking around a bunch of other surf shops in the mall for some reef slippers that my friend has, but could not find them. Perhaps they don’t make that style anymore? Or perhaps Maui is just limited in their inventory and I need to look back home on Oahu. Anyhoo, I was happy that I found the Sanuk ones! There were pretty pricey for«flip flops»…$ 35. This was a «splurge» for me, but like my friend said, «well if you want comfort, it’s going to cost extra!» So I just went for it. It was either that, or steal her slippers. The sales associate asked me if I had a bag with me, and for a second I was confused because Oahu doesn’t have the plastic bag ban(and honestly I hope we never do because I recycle them as garbage bags anyway!). Then I realized, and was more than HAPPY to just put my new purchase into my oversized purse. He was going to offer me a plastic bag that the slippers already came in(which is what it looked like). But it wasn’t necessary. Nice store, nice employees.

While this store has a great selection of men’s and women’s sandals and thongs… the experience you get at the register is unfortunate. I picked up two pairs of thongs this evening at the Whaler’s Village location and was server by a nice clerk named Matt. $ 130.00 later I was informed that I would need to pay $ 0.75 for a bag or he could use a small clear plastic bag that was in the garbage to wrap up my purchase. Really? I opted for the $ 0.75 bag and suggested Matt share my disapproval with his head office adviseing that I thought it was insulting to charge for a bag at the prices they charge for merchandise. Matt advise that plastic bags were no longer allowed in Maui(I guess unless they come from the garbage) and that their head office was following the«law» in full compliance. I was also informed that Walmart and ABC Store charge for bags so it was a common practice. OK but first off I would NEVER shop in a Walmart and if I did I probably wouldn’t pay more than ten bucks for them at either store. After spending $ 130 bucks I don’t expect to pay for a $ 0.75 bag??? Their head office needs to get a clue and eat the $ 0.75 for the canvas bag. While I applaud them for not using paper or plastic… charging me for their canvas bag with their advertising on it just leaves me to never return. Actually I was this close to just cancelling the sale and walking out of the store… but Matt was a nice guy and only following the«dumb» head office policy. Good luck with that! AND… we then went across the mall to the Honolulu Cookie Company and puchased 3 small boxes of fantastic cookies… $ 30 puchase total AND they provided a stunning heavy duty resort gift bag with rope handles… at NOCHARGE! Must be a different«LAW» at the other side of the same mall…

If you need a pair of sandals on Maui, look no further. They have everything from four inch heels to Tevas. There are sandals for both men and women. The selection is huge and the service is good. Moreover, they carry Mary Frances purses, the most glamorous purses at the most reasonable prices.
