Lake Arrowhead Country Club

My parents are members here and we always have a great time. Their annual Halloween party is really fun (for the whole family) and the haunted hay ride is a heart thudding blast! My daughter has taken swim lessons here and learned a lot!
I don’t golf but i know my parents love golfing here (all the time!) and the course is very beautiful. The restaurant is delish! One time i had the filet with macadamia nuts and ginger that came with pineapple scallops… it was to die for. Their mixed veggie are a unique and fun mix and the soup is always really really good. They mix a good drink and the prices on drinks are really good for member and their guests alike. My only issue is there are one or two servers who are not trained very well and have a bit of a snooty attitude. I don’t recall any names but this one girl poured an entire bottle of Zinfandel into three glasses… you can’t enjoy a fine wine if the glass is ²⁄₃ full. And any time you try to give her tips she gives a condescending look. But… that is no reflection on the taste of the food or the classic and eligant ambiance of the entire club.

Playing tennis with friends and a delicious lunch after… what could be better? Thinking of trying my hand at golf… friends rave about the course.

Great place for golf, good food, great staff.

My favorite place to have a great time! We spend so much time either golfing, playing tennis, lounging by the pool or dining with friends. The staff is the best and proves it over and over again. The club is probably the best dining on the mountain. The Lake Arrowhead Country Club is private and that is one of the added charms of it. We have met so many of our friends there.

I love the Club! I’ve been a member there for 11 years and the staff is as good as it gets! With the addition of Chef Jeff the food is Great!, The course is beautiful, challenging and gives you totally different looks from the front and back 9. Seven well maintained, lit Tennis courts are great! there’s even a clay court. The swimming pool is always refreshing on a warm day with food service to the deck. The Club house was receintly remodeled in warm wood tones and host a great view of the front 9, my favorite is the bar!
