Love this place. It’s my son’s favorite spot in disney world. We’ve eaten there several times. Theme park food but still fun with the whole Toy Story vibe. Worth a visit if you’re in the park.

Glad Hollywood Studios is giving this an upgrade. The interior doesn’t have the quality as the rest of the park. The pizza was sub-par — kind of a Pizza Hut style and taste, over 10 dollars in price. Not my favorite park restaurant, but everyone working there was nice and friendly and food came out quickly.

I thought this was one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. Too bready and saucy with very little cheese. The Caesar salad was fresh. For $ 14 I think the entire thing is overpriced. We pretty much all left our pizzas. I also noticed others who left most of their pizza. I could only eat one slice. So disappointed! :(I say eat elsewhere.

Stopped in for a quick bite while at Hollywood Studios. Line was a little confusing and greeter seemed overwhelmed. Took an inordinately long time to get two pizzas. The pizza was ok, more like Boboli than pizza dough. Very salty and toppings were minimal. The salad that came with the pizza was fresh and crisp though dressing was used very sparingly. Not a bad place to stop at a Disney park but not gourmet. Prices were a bit high but to be expected.

Very spacious two story pizza quick serve eatery. The pizza was very good, although it would have been nice if there was a little more of the toppings on it. The veggie pizza I ordered had but two slices of mushrooms and small chopped figments of onions and bell peppers. The majority of the pizza was the dough crust. The caesar salad in a cup was tasty. There was an arcade attached to the eatery and so I could hear kids playing.

Came here per my son’s request. We were celebrating his fourth birthday and he actually just discovered the world of Toy Story a few weeks ago and has become slightly obsessed. A stop at Pizza Planet was a must and I felt like a kid, again, and very nostalgic! As far as the food, pretty expensive for not-so-great fast food(mini) personal pizzas and subs. Since my son really wanted to eat here and we didn’t want to totally spend an arm and a leg, we actually decided to get a cheese pizza kids meal for him and the same for my husband, while I had a mini chicken sub kids meal. We decided it was a good idea to just hold us over for a while, since we were planning on being there the whole day and control our hunger pangs for a little until eating somewhere else later, so everybody wins! Honestly, for $ 6 and being that we were at a Disney park, I didn’t think it was a bad deal, at all. Each kids meal came with juice or chocolate milk, an applesauce and a chocolate chip cookie, in addition to the pizza or sub! I thought it was pretty cool that they seemed to have a lot of substitution options, which is great for kids who tend to be picky eaters, as well as a «Power Pack Lunch» that was basically a bunch of snacks put together, such as yogurt, Goldfish, carrots or apples, etc. I can’t remember it all, but I thought this was great as someone who has a child that doesn’t usually prefer to eat whole meals.

It’s like a big deal due to the movie Toy Story when it’s just an oversized Little Caesars. Pizza and food was not that great. I’ve had a better frozen pizza. Seating and surroundings were-meh. Was not impressed at all. Will not go back. My kids didn’t really enjoy it either.

How are you going to explain this crap to a grown up 90’s kid that believes in a Pizza Planet with alien drink dispensers, tons of games and two giant robots guarding the entrance? If Universal can spend time and money into replicating Diagon Alley, damn Disney can spruce up this sham of a Pizza Planet. It is just like any generic themed park food option: overpriced personal sized pizzas, meatball subs and salads. There was some effort put into slapping«Pizza Planet» all over the place, but it doesn’t hide the fact that it is a crummy walk up counter establishment that Disney had to put a theme on. Oh genius, we serve pizza here so let’s mock Pizza Planet. Nobody thinks this place is cool. Not even kids! They’re too busy playing games on their cellphones anyway to be amazed by the laziness of this fraudulent Pizza Planet.

Best in-park meal we had in this price range. Food was fair and plentiful. Only downside is that we couldn’t find a trash receptacle that wasn’t overflowing. We were there in the wake of the lunchtime rush, but it was apparent that something was amiss operationally.

Not exactly an exact replica a of the Pizza Planet from Toy Story, but who am I to complain. The food is amazing and the games are fun. It’s obviously overpriced because it’s located in Disney but that’s expected so I can’t fault them for it. They only serve salad, pizza, chipz and meatball subs, but I was able to get a chicken sub instead of meatballs and it was really good. Each meal. comes with a side of salad or chips and I got the Caesar salad which could have used a bit more dressing but I added parmesan cheese which they provide for free and it made it much better. I definitely came here for the novelty. There were many places here that had steak, pasta, etc. I’ll be here all day so I’m sure I’ll enjoy something else later.

When I go to parks I don’t expect food to be as good, because it never is. But that change when I went to Disneyland and went to get a pizza at the pizza planet. My expectation were low, but had no idea I was about to have the best tasting pizza I have ever had, no kidding, I still can’t get the taste out of my mind and I compare it to all other pizzas but nothing comes close I loved it ! will def go back to disney for this pizza lol

The pizza here is average and nothing special. I think it’s the relationship to Toy Story that really draws in the customers. However, the crowds are huge during the lunch rush, so I don’t necessarily blame them for having to throw the pizzas together quick. Each pizza is the size of a paper plate(personal size only) and served with a cup of Caesar salad. The pizza crust is soft and fluffy, but they need to add more toppings. I ordered the Veggie and found a few chopped peppers, onions and 1 mushroom… kind of disappointing. The salad is lightly dressed and fine. Also, just a note… the organization of the restaurant is odd. The line during lunch actually led outside the restaurant, but there is no sign that says so until you go inside. Once inside, there’s a small sign that says«Exit only», which leads a lot of people to discover that they have to go all the way back outside to stand in line. It would be helpful to have a sign outside, which would make things more efficient.

With Disney’s attention to detail and magic all throughout the park, I was surprised by how disappointing Pizza Planet is. The food is very limited; Pizza the size of a small plate(Cheese, Veggie, Meat), Meatball Sub, Anitpasto Salad. each come with either a bag of chips or a small cup of Cesar salad. The environment is like a cafeteria with some pizza planet colors slapped all over. There are a few arcade games throughout the restaurant, though both coin machines were out of order on my visit. Overall, I feel like this is one of those situations where if you’re not going to do it well, you just shouldn’t do it at all.

Remember being a kid and watching Toy Story? I was thrilled by the amazing place called Pizza Planet. A huge pizza place with tons of video games and lights and cool décor, how cool is that? IFONLY the real restaurant were like that. The real pizza planet is «okay» … I would say the quality of the food is just under Chuck E Cheese pizza. Ours was still cold, in fact. Not only that but other than pizza, the menu is super limited. There are a few arcade games, but nothing worth spending even more money and wasting time in the park to play. Pizza Planet is such a disappointment.

I’m very much on the fence with Pizza Planet. My first experience was in 09′ on my «most amazingest birthday weekend on the planet ever»(that was the official title of my b’day that year). I went again in 2013 and once more in 2014, and with each visit, it seems to slip further and further into«meh» status with me. So Pizza Planet is your standard counter service set up: get in line, order, move to next window and wait until your food is ready to go. Pick up said food and go find a table. They serve the same(surprisingly yummy) pizza that you’ll find all over the parks, only this one is themed, and quite loosely might I add, to Toy Story. They have the logo branded everywhere they can, they have a few of the aliens located around the place, and they have a handful of arcade games. If you vividly remember the awe inspiring Pizza Planet scene in the original Toy Story, don’t expect to find that here. Counter staff has been hit and miss. Sometimes they are super friendly and other times they are just going through the motion. That and as busy as this place stays is where I would guess my meh mentality comes from. But that won’t stop me from coming here again next time I need a quick pizza fix while in the middle of Hollywood Studios.

Pretty darn good deal for inside Disney. $ 10 for a meat lovers pizza and caesar salad. Not a lot of meat on the pizza but it was decent. The 4 stars is based on location comparison and price.

Our kids were so excited to eat at pizza planet, as they love you story. For as much as Disney goes out of their way to go over the too with detail, it was VERY disappointing that this looked nothing like the original pizza planet from the movie. They had an opportunity to make this a place kids would love, but they missed badly. How about at least getting the claw game with the green aliens? This place is nothing more than a counter, some tables, and a few arcade games mixed in. As for the food, it was terrible! The little mini pizzas for the kids were almost all crust, and the crust was burnt badly. My kids will eat almost any pizza, but they could barely choke this down. They actually said they wished we hadn’t even come here. By far the worst food experience we’ve had at Disney.

As a diehard Toy Story fan, it’s been a life-long dream of mine to eat at Pizza Planet. Food: 3⁄5 Sadly the pizza all seemed to be 50% puffy crust. As such, I got the meatball sub… which was surprisingly fantastic! The meatballs and sauce tasted amazing and even the bread was a winner. The big rubbery-looking squares of cheese on top looked quite unappetizing, but close your eyes and the sandwich tastes incredible. Atmosphere: 4⁄5 Wish it looked a LITTLE more like the movie’s Pizza Planet. or at least a bit more like a Chuck-E-Cheese. The arcade games are a necessary and nice touch though. Pizza Planet is certainly a hit with the kids. BEING A GOSHDANGEDPIZZAPLANET: 5⁄5

For anyone who is a fan of the movie Toy Story(and if you’re in Disney’s Hollywood Studios), you have to check this place out, and grab a pizza while you’re at it! You want aliens? They have your«oohhh-ahhh» aliens. You want games? They have a full arcade. You want pizza? Of course they have it here! The pizza is pretty decent. Think Red Baron, or Pizza Hut, that’s what it reminds me of. And if you don’t want pizza? Well, there’s other options such as salad and sandwiches. The best part is that every thing is labeled«Pizza Planet» so you have that Buzz Lightyear vibe throughout this place. They used to have«Pizza Planet» decal trashcans(when I was a teenager), with aliens and the logo and everything, but I didn’t see it this time around. So grab Woody, Ham, and all your buddies and check this place out!
