Vons

I’m shopping and there’s m a dog being carried around as the shopper shops. She’s carrying a dog and touching/​selecting produce. Just as I am about to speak to the MOD, she walks up and pets dog and states it’s so cute.
I do not shop for food where dogs are allowed. I wonder how the health department would feel about this?

Just went in to get some groceries and the cashier, Elena, was very nice and helpful… 5 star in customer service for sure!

Everyone has been super friendly and they have great quality meat and deli items. Just be careful and check expiration dates. I have brought home multiple dry items that were already expired-​chips, tortillas, etc.

Like the people that work here they are friendly most of the time some times the food is expired so check the dates on everything you buy because if not you will be going back also the store is clean for the most part the starbucks here sucks majorly they don’t make any drinks right and they all have attitude…

The place is clean, the store looks inviting, the product/​produce is neatly organized, and it looks appealing; now let’s talk about the employees, these are some of the most rude people I have ever come across with, I live in Canyon Lake, and normally I love Vons over the other super markets, I even have a Stater Bros. Closer to me than this Vons, but I purposely use to drive the extra mile for Vons, NOT ANYMORE! They have no regards for people’s feelings, the last time I was there, an employee was literally yelling at this older lady simply because she was trying to return something with no receipt, and according to the employee, it was an item they did not even carry; the employee was talking to the elder woman so loud I decided to get closer and take a look at the item, the item in question, the item which by now both, the manager and the employee are claiming is not carried at their store was, «white chocolate mocha cappuccino by Hills Brothers, an item which I am very familiar with, an item I have purchased from Vons for many years now. I asked the manager, can we take a walk? I walked her right to the aisle where that product was sitting on the shelves, several different flavors, including, «white chocolate mocha cappuccino», her response, «my eyes are not as good as they use to be», no apology as she gave the elderly woman a store credit for a bit over $ 5.00. Again this was the last time I was at this store, about 4 to 6 months ago. If I wrote all my bad experiences at that store, I would end up writing a small book, but this incident pretty much summarizes the kind of people running that store; I’m not sure why or who is writing these good reviews, it sounds as we are talking about two different stores. There is a Wal-​Mart in the same parking lot and as bad as Wal-​Mart is, they have a better customer service than this Vons.

I’ve found myself coming here more often for their selection of vegan food.
The employees are super friendly! I came in tonight for some spinach and tofurkey and was greeted by an employee who cheerfully asked me how I was and to let them know if I needed anything.
They have a good selection of organic vegetables too!

I called the bakery department at Von’s and I had questions regarding Wedding cakes. I could not understand a word the person was saying. I won’t be ordering my cake from this store. Have people answer the phone who can speak English!

The dude in the bakery gave me a foochie face!!! Two thumbs down. Boooo! However their baked goods are tasty. So hooray for vons!!! Yaaaa!

went in late, the stock people were starting to load up the aisles. very few people were in the store. it was clean, the produce looked great, I was able to get what I wanted and was cordially greeted by the man going out to get carts, the man stocking and the cashier. Sounds five starry to me
