I also have been lucky enough to work with Sean with Bel Espirit because of the work at Spyglass Hill’s community off of Curtner Ave in San Jose. Sean has made the whole experience pleasant. As the other people have said reviewers have said communication is of utmost important, & Sean is so great with this. He was patient in dealing with me– a woman who is trying to balance the issues of a commute from Foster City every day to South San Jose. Much to my shock, he offered to come by & do the work on a Sunday. Wow! Do people actually go out of their way to do this kind of ‘extra’ kindness in this day & age — obviously Sean does. I would hire this company in a second, simply because of Sean. Thank you for making booking this work a bit less stressful on my already crazy life.

I take this process of a review very seriously. Bel Esprit has been contracted to complete necessary repairs in the Spyglass Hill community. The scope of this endeavor is massive, takes incredible coordination, planning and execution.
I was unsure how such an undertaking would affect the residents. Bel Esprit started with communication. A meeting was conducted explaining the process, what was to be done, how long it would take and what to expect. Clearly there was a great deal of planning already completed to reduce inconveniences to the community.
Shawn was the point man. He has met with the residents on an individual basis. He is knowledgeable, personable and approachable. He remembers the names of the homeowners and always greets each with a smile and a hello. With such a demanding schedule, he always has time to explain to residents what, where and when work will be conducted. I have approached him regarding various perceived home issues. I am sure he was well aware of these issues before I mentioned them. He has resolved all of my concerns. It is a pleasure to see him on the property. He treats each of the employees with respect. I have witnessed him personally becoming involved working alongside others.
Notice is provided via text and announcements of work that will be conducted. This allows residents to plan for the upcoming work. A true litmus test are the actual employees. As with Shawn, each of the several employees I have met over the past several weeks have been warm, congenial and professional. They do everything possible to cause the least amount of inconvenience to the residents.
The work that has been completed is of a high standard. Excellent customer service combined with high quality workmanship are the two qualities that Shawn and his team have demonstrated.
I would like to thank Shawn and his entire staff. I would recommend, without any hesitation, Bel Esprit Builders.

Bel Esprit Builders has been completing an extensive list of repairs in the townhome community where we live. We have felt very fortunate that they were the contractor chosen to work on our community.
From the beginning, they have been extremely professional and friendly. There have been no surprises as to what to expect. Communication has been perfect; this is crucial when it comes to finding a good contractor! While being friendly and keeping us «in the loop» with the work that is happening, they also take a lot of care in what they are doing. We have noticed that Shawn takes an enormous amount of pride in his job and wants to make sure things are done right.
There are still a few months before the work is scheduled to be completed but we have been very pleased with the way things have gone thus far.
If we ever need to hire a contractor again, we wouldn’t even hesitate to have Bel Esprit on the job.

Bel Esprit Builders are doing ongoing work in my Mother’s townhouse development. When it came time to work on her building, Sean and his team were very professional and communicative about what they would be doing, and really went the extra mile to address her concerns~much appreciation!

Bel Esprit Builders recently completed a major renovation, more accurately transformation, of my home and backyard. It started with an improperly installed swimming pool that was destroying the foundation and escalated into a series of issues including the pool equipment platform, adjacent fence, and ground sliding 30 degrees into the rear neighbor’s property. Bel Esprit was able to handle all of these issues as they occurred with exceptional workmanship and extraordinary customer service. Mark and Ryan are terrific site managers, who explained and provided me with frequent updates on the project; as a single woman this was very important to me. They would also be sure that I was completely satisfied with the materials selected whether it was the paint colors for the house or the water tile for the pool.
If you want your construction or home improvement project done the right way with beautiful results, I would highly recommend Bel Esprit. They are simply the best!
