Came here three times. Food was good. Service however was extremely slow. The last visit we stopped to just grab a quick drink and wound up walking out bc no one ever came to our table.

Fantastic! A cute little place that has a really nice little front deck that is a bit higher above the street level so you can watch all going on Lake Geneva and little beach right in front there on Wrigley Dr. The menu is perfect for an upscale wine and beer place. Lots of choices for someone like me who is vegan which was really, really nice! Heidi our waitress was super friendly. She knew what she was talking about when making recommendations and describing a beer or wine. If I could I would give this place 10 stars it was that nice. I will definitely come back to Lake Geneva just to enjoy this place again. Loved it!

One of our favorites on Geneva Lake. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. The wine selection is perfect and the small plates are delicious. Always a perfect night when there are oysters.

Recently discovered this place when I visited lake geneva. they are right across from the water and have a beautiful outdoor patio for people to sit and enjoy the lake views while having a drink from their huge menu of wine and beer selections. Their food menu had a great selection as well and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. Our server Heidi was fantastic and explained the different options on the menu for us. I would definitely recommend trying this little gem out. Only stopped for drinks because I had already eaten lunch but I was disappointed I had already eaten when I saw what their Flatbreads look like !

My siblings and I were planning on meeting my parents at a bar in Lake Geneva. My dad called to tell me he was at the BBQ wine bar. After searching Unilocal I learned that there was no BBQ wine bar but this had to be the place. Luckily when we walked in we saw my dad sitting right up front. We only stayed for a round of drinks but thought everything was great. Drinks were not too expensive and they had a heavy pour with the wine!

This place was super cute and the wine and food were delicious. The service was excellent as well. We came in pretty late, less than an hour before closing, and the place was not too packed for a saturday night. Our tip? Try the wine flights and flatbreads. You won’t be disappointed.

I had the beer cheese soup which was delicious! It was thick and oily but very tasty. I also split the margarita flatbread which was very thin. The flatbread is the perfect size for 1 or good to split between two people if you will be eating something else as well. Although I did not try their wine, they have wine flights 3 for $ 9 or 4 for $ 11 where you can choose most of the wines on their menu. I like that you have such a wide range of choices! This location is definitely small so it is best to go when it’s not crowded but it is a great view of the lake!

We came across this gem while on a girls weekend. It is cute on the inside and the service is great! We ordered the cheese platter which came with three different cheeses(a spicy cheddar, dill flavored cheese, & Brie), grapes, & crackers. I tried the wine flight with three different pours of red wine. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable on various wines. The only thing is it closes really early-especially on Saturdays. We really wanted to order more food and wine-however, by 9:30pm, it was too late. If you’re in the Lake Geneva area, I definitely recommend this wine bar… just go earlier if you want more time.

Great place! Very clean, friendly service, tasty food and did I mention the décor? So cute! All types of people gather here for some wine sampling or a nice cold beer. A wonderful view of the lake too. I really liked that the kitchen is open to the resturant so you can see the staff making your food and it was clean and neat. Bathrooms were very clean also. We were treated very well and even chatted with the owner on our way out who thanked us for stopping in. Nice memorable experience to take with us, thanks guys!

Perfect place to come for an afternoon with friends. Cozy, comfortable and friendly. We had pie, IPA, coffee, and a glass of wine. Witty, efficient waitress kept our glasses replenished. Split the cherry personal pie between for of us because we had filled up earlier with lunch. The pie crust was buttery and the a la mode vanilla scoop was as generous as it was delicious. The Scottish brown ale from Missouri, a featured draft, was a smooth dark beer with a light citrus aftertaste-simply delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

Stopped here for some wine and appetizers and really enjoyed our visit :) We both ordered the $ 9 flight which consists of 3 wines of your choice that come in small and cute wine glasses. We tried 6 wines in total and enjoyed them all. For food my mother got the Blue Point oysters, $ 15 for 6 oysters; there were cleansed well with no sand/grit in them and that is a fair price for blue point! She also enjoyed the light wine vinaigrette that came as the dipping sauce for the oysters. I ordered the shrimp cocktail for $ 12 and I was slightly disappointed as the price was a little high and you only received 4 small to medium shrimps that were warm; I like my shrimp cocktails to be cold or served over ice. The atmosphere is really cute; the restaurant is small and decorated very cute and has a killer view of the lake. Inside has a strong fishy scent, but if you don’t mind that them sitting inside wasn’t bad at all. Will most likely be coming back in the future to sample some more yummy wines !

Good food. Fair prices. Still fine tuning… Food was good, exactly what I hoped for, however it looks like they were taking turns versus working a station on a Saturday night; so the frantic energy of the staff wasn’t the relaxing, sit outside and enjoy the end of summer I would have hoped for. But overall, I would come back and give it another try. We had the blue point oysters(when they first opened they advertised themselves as a wine and oyster bar and remembering that I had a hankering for oysters). We also shared a wedge salad which was great! The food was a bit slow for my husband’s pace, since nothing was cooked; I enjoyed it a lot. Most people were ordering their flatbreads which looked good! They did their best for a busy Saturday night, it might be helpful to reorganize on weekends for them to calm their pace or get a hostess/busser to assist, that might get them out of the weeds. The only thing that my husband and I noticed was that the location wasn’t a restaurant previously and the vision of what they wanted the restaurant to look like doesn’t translate that well. They could probably enlist a little help to fine tune. It looks and feels a littler«budgeted» but still quaint. The chairs/tables outside are a bit bulky and I had a hard time getting comfortable. I wanted to sit closer to my husband but I’d be blocking the pathway. It’s a little tight seating on the deck. Again, they are trying! Just temper your expectations and I believe you could enjoy this place, even on a frantic end of summer night. Sit back and order a glass of wine or a bottle of beer from their microbrew list.

Came here for the second time last week, and unfortunately, this place did not seem to improve upon itself. The problem I have, for the most part, is the fact that essentially everything is prepackaged food. The kids Mac ‘n cheese is very obviously Kraft, served with a container of Mott’s applesauce. While waiting for the bathroom, I watched teenage cooks scoop hummus out of a large vat. I remember the last time we came in 2014, the flatbreads were made with Flatout brand(which I can buy at the local grocery store). It’s disappointing to pay for a meal that you could put together yourself with less money if you went to the store. On to the food — My mother got the BBQ chicken flatbread this year(which did not seem to be on a Flatout, so that was good at least) and said it was average. I got a salad which was served with a wonderful hair(that does not belong to me) in the spinach. No wonder my salad had a hair in it — the teenage cooks had no sanitary gloves, caps, etc! Again, while waiting for the bathroom, I watched a girl with long hair and a swingy ponytail prepare food — gross. Leaves me to think that they might not even bother washing their hands? Didn’t alert the waiter because it wasn’t worth another one — could’ve made the same salad at home, so my party left, got some ice cream, and finished eating at home. Great view + decent service gets 2 stars. Definitely won’t be returning.

My sister, niece and myself stopped for lunch after a morning of hiking around the lake. It was pleasant, and our server was vey friendly, nice and attentive. The bruschetta was a bit bland. It was mostly just tomatoes chopped up on French bread. No sign of basil or cheese. The bread wasn’t toasted. Seemed a bit steep to charge $ 9.00 for chopped tomatoes on bread. The rest of the food was good– not the best in the world, but fairly good. In a place like Lake Geneva and other«beach towns» or tourist areas, I hate how restaurants can be mediocre and survive, because they don’t need for you to return– they’ll just wheel in the next tourist! In Lake Geneva more often than not the restaurants are terrible! Because the service was good, and the food better than many in town, they deserve at least 3 stars!

We made a reservation that they were not prepared for. We walked in and not only was our table not ready, but they seemed totally confused by our presence. They asked us to sit outside, but since it was raining we declined. They then attempted to move other customers from the tables, but we opted to leave and go elsewhere. I will not be coming here again. Bottom line: do not take reservations if you are not prepared to honor them.

Great salad and chocolate cake. The staff was young, attentive and fun. The décor was interesting. I really liked the ceiling paper. It was a perfect ending to a 19 mile walk on the lake geneva path.

Loved this place! So cute and such a great view. The waitress(maybe she was also an owner?) was so pleasant and never did we feel rushed. Came by on a Friday evening and were surprised by their fairly large menu for such a quaint place. I had a wine flight and my husband a local beer. We then tried a cheese plate with crackers. We made our own selections and the waitress didn’t try to suggest anything else — either because we seemed fairly set in our ways or that’s just not her thing to impose her own opinions. An table near us had the shrimp cocktail which looked fresh, as well as a flatbread which was a good size for 2 to share and looked delicious. Would definitely recommend this place for a date night or girlfriend’s outing.

Cute new place that was once upon a time a cool and quirky bookstore in Lake Geneva. Not to be confused with the similar sounding wine bars in Madison. Very crowded on Saturday but that’s the norm for LG on a nice day. They have outside seating which is nice. Waitress was super despite the fact she needed help(maybe the owners can hire someone to help) to manage the throngs. Decent wine selection and they have flights so you can try before buying that bottle. All in all fun time and will be back to try food next time. Tip: you can rent the condo upstairs for a great view of LG

Great Lake view spot to hang out for a beer or wine with a snack. Large selection and you can do flights of wine too. Good service and outdoor patio is perfect for people watching and enjoying beautiful Lake Geneva. Nice old house renovated as a new spot on lakefront.

This is my first visit to this tiny wine bar in Lake Geneva. Barrique offers a good variety of wine and wine flights, plus a good selection of beers. The menu consists of small plates, a plentiful cheese tray, salads and flatbreads. We stopped in for a light snack during the day and a glass of wine. We ordered the bbq chicken flatbread to share. It was a nice crispy crust and flavorful. The place is very small, maybe 8 – 10 tables. It’s a cute place to take a break from shopping or to get warm like we did from Winterfest. It’s located right in town across from the lake. Great location and a little gem in town. I’ll be back!
