Stayed here for one night for a Pistons game at The Palace — only about 5 minutes away. Very clean and modern. Rooms were spacious. The pool and hot tub area was very clean and maintained. Enjoyed watching the NFL Playoffs at the lobby bar. Breakfast buffet was standard. Hotel staff was very friendly and polite. The only downfall was that restaurants were not close but it didn’t really matter to us since The Palace was so close.

Stayed here for a concert at DTE and it was great. About 15 mins from the hotel and the hotel had a nice bar in the lobby for us to hang at afterward. Nothing fancy but adequate. The room was clean and nicely done with 2 queen beds, desk and chair, and a sectioned off area for the pull out couch. Bathroom was standard. This was a steal for the price we got when naming our own price on Priceline. It began with a $ 7X. Shhhhhh don’t tell. Anyway I would certainly stay there again especially for an event at the Palace which was a block down the road.

It’s an above average hotel. I was originally not very happy because they messed up my bill(I asked for 2 portfolios, for 2 different accounting sets) but after their customer services to fix the problem, my original 3 star review gets updated to 4 stars! Thanks to your outstanding customer service…4STARS

We aren’t familiar with the area — we stayed here after a show at DTE — but it felt like there was nothing around, other than the Palace(which was empty the Saturday night we stayed there… how sad is that?!). The hotel was clean and appeared newer. The staff was very accomodating, helping us with backroad directions to DTE so we didn’t have to get back on the highway, which was down to one lane for construction — excellent customer service! Our suite was SpringHill funky modern, clean and bright. Free hot breakfast included in your rate. Indoor pool and decent workout area.

Modern, updated hotel. Very utilitarian. I loved it. Pretty much the opposite of bed and breakfast. They offer a shuttle to and from the Palace during functions. The breakfast is above average continental, with a waffle station, eggs and sausage. The room was clean, the beds were comfy with 6 pillows and I love that there was just a shower and not a bathtub. Free wifi in the room. fridge, microwave and workstation. We will definitely stay here again when going to the Palace for functions.

For a hotel that’s about 5 years old its quickly showing is age or at least my room was. I assume my room is rented out more often since it is at the end of the hall. The bed has a visible body print the size of a large man, the carpet and couch had stains but those thing I could look beyond what grossed me out we’re the whiskers stuck to the wall inside the shower! It was clear to me that the shower was cleaned 1 – 2 times a month. There was mold in the corners and along the bottom of the door. I’m not a super housewife but there are 2 showers a day in my home and my tub is cleaned only once a week and I don’t have mold at home so a shower used once a day and cleaned once a day should be SPOTLESS! The rooms square footage wise are small when you actually stop and think about it but their use of space and colors really make it feel big. Their décor was trendy and not boring typical hotel couch, bed, tv lined up one long wall. There was also a nice fridge and microwave which I see other hotel chains doing away with. All in all it was an OK stay. If. I had made my review before getting into the shower it would have been 4 or maybe 5 stars.
