Convenient location in LO. Prices are pretty high compared to other hardware store options in the near vicinity. Customer service is hit and miss. If you get the right person, they can be pretty helpful, but on the flip side it can be pretty bad. Takes forever to check-out if there are a few people in line, yet rarely more than one checker. Which I just don’t get with the amount of staff I see wandering around aimlessly in the store.

I went in to buy bird feed and came out with much more! I ended up with my hands full of stuff and a 10lb bag of bird food. I had an elderly lady come up to me and take most of the stuff to the front register to help me out. It was very generous of her I was asked by every employee I passed by if I needed any help. I would definitely go back for any of my household/hardware needs.

If you’re looking for convenience in downtown LO, 5 stars. If you’re looking for a good selection, it’s 3 and price it’s 2 stars. I’d suggest the little bit of an extra drive to Home Depot to make sure you get what you want, at a decent price, with a great return policy.

Have to say, I get continually disappointed here.
I don’t find the employees very friendly, especially the older ones. The prices are a little high.
It is great to have a local hardware store, but my last several experiences there are sending me right to Lowes!

The busy holiday season is no excuse for rudeness by store employees. Owners should either staff up or employ only those who can work well under stress. Although I live only blocks away from this business and have been a fairly regular customer in the past, I will never shop this store again because of the unpleasant treatment I received yesterday from a cashier named Connie. Just a miserable experience.

Excellent customer service. Everyone is very friendly and ready to answer questions. Grandpa needed a padlock and some extension cord, he found them right away with the great directions given by Steve. I also looked around and the prices were competitive and even if they were more pricey than other stores, I would just go here for the service.

I stay far from this store whenever I can. I gave it another shot yesterday and not a single employee helped me. They stood around socializing with the other employees. While searching for my purchases, I got side swiped twice by two different employees. What’s the deal with this place?! They have the «hard to find products» and jack the prices sky high. I’m an easy going person and this is my first time writing a review. It took a pretty crummy experience yesterday (along with the track record of other experiences in the past with this store) to disgust me enough to write this. I’m done. I had the last straw. They will not get my business!

Friendly and much more convenient than the BIG box stores. I bought several things here: chains for my hanging baskets, rubber cord cover to prevent trip hazards, Terro which is GREAT natural ant killer.

I needed a two wheel cart to help transport my 24″ iMac (boxed) so I stopped by the ACE store in Lake Oswego yesterday.
A nice lady greeted me and told me right where to find the carts. I found the perfect cart, small, portable, just perfect for my iMac.
