We live about a mile down N from this location. When we first moved out here(many years ago) this Sonic *was* our drink stop as there was no QT, etc. Over time the service has went downhill and we’ve gravitated away. The hours are inconsistent, for example the other night we decided to swing by for drinks. It was 10 – 15 minutes before close and as we drove around to hit the drive thru they turned their lights out on us and refused to answer the speaker. Other times we’ve had pricing issues. They running their large drinks for a discount(I believe it was $ 0.99) in the mornings. They’ve always simply up-charged us for getting a Route 44 drink(so $ 1.49). A few weeks ago they charged me full price for the two Route 44 drinks. I questioned that and was told that they had never simply up-charged the fifty cents. As it happened I had a couple of receipts in my door pocket showing they had the prior week. Then the story changed to they weren’t doing that any longer. If they had led with that rationale I wouldn’t have been overly happy but I would have accepted it, but to fundamentally call me a liar until I happened to produce a receipt and then change their story — well that agitated me. I escalated this issue to corporate and was blown off. That’s fine — it’s their choice, but I can simply go a block down the street to either QT or Phillips 66 and get a larger drink cheaper so that’s what we do now. I’m not really sure they deserve two stars at this point, but at one time they were very good and I’m trying to give some credit for that. I really hope things change as other Sonic’s(the one on 364/Page for example) are very good, this one is just disappointing.

I personally was employed by this establishment. While there I witnessed some horrific things which I feel people should be aware of. Within my first few weeks, the man to trained me had no care for hygiene, turns out no one does. None of the employees wash their hands regularly, this includes the managers, and no we never wear gloves unless there is an inspection. I have seen cooks mess with customers who upset them. Everything from spitting in a burger to rubbing a burger patty on ones genitals. Staff members get intoxicated on the clock, which normally lead to a difficult to handle shift and very slow service. There were carhops over charging peoples orders and pocketing difference. Fornication took place between employees, INTHESTORE. We served items such as chicken, sausage, egg, amongst other rarely ordered, we served such items almost 10 plus hours after it being made. The bacon is made in one giant batch at open and is used till close. When time stamps run out on food items, instead of disposing the product like we are suppose to, our manager has us put new time stamps on them. When stocking items, we never empty and clean containers, merely stock over them. Until health inspectors cracked down on us, some machines were never cleaned. THEICECREAMMACHINEHASINSECTSINITATONEPOINT, LIVEMAGGOTS! I have to say, after working in several other food establishments, this is sickening. Please for your health, avoid this establishment at all costs.

Food good. Long day of cleaning so just wanted something quick. My only complaint is past few times there asked for ranch dressing and it never makes it in the bag.

I’m an avid Sonic fan. Having just moved here from Seattle where we didn’t have sonic for some ungodly reason, I was thrilled to learn I could go to Sonic once again as I did in Texas as a child. My general rule is ‘don’t eat the food’ because it’s never really been good. But today I went for a Sonic Blast, saw the breakfast burritos and thought; «Eh, it’s 4pm, I haven’t eaten all day. Burrito time!» So I made the unfortunate mistake of ordering one. I’m not exactly sure what this ‘burrito’ really was. Was it a turd masquerading as food? Was it cat food mixed with eggs? Who knows. Anyway it was disgusting. I took a couple bites before tossing it. The plus is that it killed my appetite so at least I’m not hungry, the minus is I wasted my money. Come on Sonic! Get it together here!

I like Sonic for its drinks. This location does a decent job. I live nearby, and have never had any problems with staff being snooty. It’s too bad the review from Lilla — being her only review, and she not being from close by — skews the score for this location. I have not had an experience any worse here, than compared to any other Sonic. Location is decent — tucked nicely in a shopping district with a Lowe’s, Walmart, Sports Authority, Starbucks, and a bajillion other shopping options — as well as about a dozen food establishments. Not too far off Hwy 40/61/I-64, too.

So i had to go here cause i heard of these Sweet potato tots! really«give me some of those tots»!! they are so good and i would almost go back for more but i was just jumping off my diet for the weekend. if i ate here often these would be an order every time. I also got a burger here and it was a lot bigger than i remember sonic burgers being. and then i saw a sign that sad bigger, juicier, thicker burgers and that explained a lot i said to myself. i would come to sonic anytime i want some good fast food but it is a little pricey. they are always fast on the order and bring it right out to your car usually on skates which is pretty cool. Cherry Limeades RULE! :)
