Great place for a quick healthy meal. They practice what they preach and they even did a great learning experience for my youth group

Much better than Taco Bell! I love the crisp beef burrito with a side of ranch. We have come here about 1x a month for years and have never had an issue with our food. Is it stellar authentic Mexican? Nah, but its good for what it is!

Poor customer service, was asked to leave the dining room right at 10 o clock as we were in the middle of eating our food. This was after their mistake of giving us the wrong order and having to remake our food.
Most likely will not be back. I have worked and owned a restaurant before. I would never kick a customer out because we closed, I’d at least wait till they finished their food, right?
Their Drive thru is open till 11, so it’s not like they were all going home…

I would write about the food, if I ever got any. I went and sat in line at 6:29 pm. I’m stuck in the line now for 22 min. I honestly have never been so hungry in my life. This is the slowest fast food restaurant on the planet. Beware

A-​OK rating fits perfectly; it’s not good, it’s not bad. Gets the job done for Mexican food.
Love the location for my daily commutes.

I try to like this place, as I prefer the food at «Time» over the «Bell», but it is getting tough. I usually go here when I am in a real hurry, and go through the drive through on the way to somewhere. I have been here a dozen or so times in the last several years, and about half the time (including this time) my order ends up being wrong. I am not talking missing hot sauce or anything, but rather completely different food. I suppose some might find getting a grab bag amusing, but I really don’t. The problem is exacerbated because I don’t figure it out until I am down the road, and have no time to come back. I understand it happening now and then, but it is clearly a pattern with this place. I have even resorted to going through the bags to make sure I get what i ordered, but some items have gotten past me even then. The food is Taco Time, and is what you would expect, assuming you get what you ordered of course.

This must be a corporate store because the prices here are much higher than the other 3 locations I go to in the Portland/​Vancouver area (which I love and frequent often). My $ 2.30 soft taco becomes $ 4.59 here! The food does not seem to be fresh here, either.
And why is there no sour cream? This makes no sense to me at all. Instead they offer something called Baja sauce, which is just ranch dressing. Not good in a taco. The meat is minimal, which is okay because it is basically mush. Also, the service is slow.
Even worse, this location is a total pain to get in and out of! I don’t understand the set-​up. It’s an accident waiting to happen.

For what it is they are, Taco Time Lake Stevens is the best!

I love Taco Time. This restaurant is consistently delicious and their staff is great.
My only complaint is how slow they have gotten in the drive thru since their remodel. The drive thru area is quite a bit offset from the food now, not sure if that’s the issue or what.
Give this place a whirl if you are in the area. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

Okay, I know. Five stars for a fast food place? Yes. Adjust your mental scale to the full fast food range, and you have here a five star fast food restaurant. This is the best. The staff here is consistently quick, competent, and amiable. I’ve eaten here many, many times (probably more than 100 over the years), and have never had a bad experience. The food is fresh and made right there behind the counter where you can clearly see what’s going on. Put in your order and take a seat in the quiet restaurant, something rare in most fast food places. The food comes quickly. Need more of something? They’ll fix it. Refills? Just pop the lid and ask at the counter. No problem. This is the best customer service anywhere.
It *is* tricky to park. Go in right off the highway 9 intersection, turn left, and park in the Safeway lot at the far end. It’s easier to leave this parking lot than the TacoTime lot. When you leave, go out the north end entrance (past the chiropractor’s office and toward the gas pumps) and turn left. Another left at the 3-​way stop brings you back to highway 9.

This is a pretty solid Taco Time. Generally friendly staff, decently cooked food, fairly clean interior. Nothing special, but a fine location overall.
The one main downside to this TT is the location of the restaurant. It’s in a great area with regards to Lake Stevens, but the location itself (inside a strip mall-​type area) is difficult to get to. There are some oddly placed streets to get in and out of the area, which can cause an issue depending on which direction you are coming from.
