Nice job leveling your parking lot. All the rain drains the the front center parking spots. Never go here in the rain or your shoes will be ruined like mine. It wasn’t even raining anymore when I got there and my spot was basically dry. 15 mins later, ankle deep water(still wasn’t raining). Not to mention I’ve never seen a lazier crew of half-asleep workers anywhere. Stop moping around like you have nothing to do or they will realize it and fire your dumb ass. This Mark guy who reviewed it first did so over a year ago. The employees are worthless and this place is nothing at all like a Publix. Not even close.

For those not familiar, the Walmart Neighborhood Markets are basically Walmart’s answer to Publix. They are dedicated Grocery stores with expanded selections — more selections especially in produce and frozen sections. The prices are just as low as the supercenters, but there are alot less customers in there — maybe one other person per row and you never wait more than a couple minutes for a free register to check out. This is was one of the biggest reasons people choose not to shop at walmart and it is eliminated here — not sure if all stores are like this or just because the area is sparsely populated with rich people who mostly shop at publix and nearby target. They also have a baby section, HBA, toys, batteries, and an adjacent liquor store. The big draw for me other than the prices and speedy shopping are the employees. Historically, Walmart has been known in my social circle for having less than stellar employees. This stores hires really well and the cashiers have been very friendly and are always smiling and cheerful. The last lady who helped me was Berlin and she’s one of those cool cats who call people«honey». This is in contrast to the cashiers at Target and Publix who look like they are dejected. Product recommendatons — 4 packs of cheap beer like Pabst and Rolling rock(16 oz cans) — 5 cent per ounce. Bag of generic tortilla chips — $ 0.99. Box of little hugs kids fruit drink barrels. walmart bottled purified water — like 10 cent per bottle in 35 pack. Everything is usually like a dollar cheaper than Publix. If publix is having a BOGO then it is the regular walmart price or slightly cheaper. Tips: — receipts have price saver — scan the QR code and it compares the products you bought with competitors and gives you back the difference. Usually save 10 – 50 cent and you get it back whenever in form of electronic gift certificate. –You cannot do WIC purchases in self-serve checkout.
