not the ritz… but perfect for a step above camping. They provide most all amenities you could think of. Just bring food and a good attitude. The pool is refreshing yet small… The walk to the lake was a lot further than years past due to the water level being so low. Each unit is equipped with your very own weber bbq. They do have a.c. as well as decent beds. We went and stayed in cabin 12 with 10 people.

We recently stayed at Sugarloaf for the first time. We will not be staying here again. The view from our room was of all the parked trucks some with boats attached. The owners of the resort allow people to park their trucks behind the cottages even though these are not designated parking areas. Unfortunately it completely obstructed our view. We found the resort noisy and lacking of privacy. Wifi did not work well. We often saw the owner walking around without his shirt on which I thought was very unprofessional. We left early vowing never to return.

Loved our stay here! I didn’t want to leave. All we had to bring was food and paper towels-​everything else was provided for us to be able to cook and sleep. :-) Definitely will be going back! We even brought our dog along, they’re very dog friendly. Beautiful views and gorgeous lake too.
