Pizza or what they call pizza here is much different than other places, crust tastes like a soda cracker has very little toppings and arrived cold. Service is lacking and the staff doesn’t seem to care. Very expensive and will never return.

Really good pizza! I like thin crust pizza so this place hits the spot — The atmosphere here is very family-friendly and the pizza is served hot and fresh.

Hot pizzas, excellent, fast delivery! Delicious! We called in a hurry and they bent over backwards to accommodate us. Their delivery folks are clean, courteous. I really appreciate the pizza boxes don’t arrive smelling like cigarettes. All their food is fresh and hot and smells great. The kids really like the small squares they cut the pizzas into!

Apparently J Burns still has issues with their delivery service. I ordered a pizza and a salad and was told 45 – 60 minutes. I called an hour and 15 minutes to check on my order and was told the guy left about 15 minutes ago, had another stop and he had no idea when he would arrive. The guy made it about 10 minutes later with a barely warm pizza. The food is ok and a little over-priced. I doubt I’ll try them again

This is the first Unilocal review I’ve ever felt inclined to write. It’s disappointing, because the pizza is actually pretty good and it’s nearby. I ordered a pizza to be delivered off their app last Friday. I didn’t get a response to let me know it went through, so I called to make sure(actually, this entire process was a wash. I initially called to place an order and was put on hold for so long I went online.) The employee working the phone told me it was received. I added a side of meatballs to my order and paid. I was quoted 45 minutes. After an hour, I called to see what the hold up was. It was 10:00 by then and I am an angry hungry, «hangry,» person. The same employee I spoke with before told me that my order was actually for October 24 at 11:00(a month in advance from when I ordered it.) I was confused. I wasn’t prompted to designate a time while placing my order on the app, and assumed it would be received as an immediate order. The employee told me they could still deliver it and«show me the ticket» to prove it was obviously my inability to use the internet. Maybe this post will confirm my skills. Obviously, there was a glitch in the system.(I would hope someone might deduce this odd ticket time and me calling to check on it might have been an indicator of an odd scenario… Do people really order one pizza a month in advance?) I was then told that the employee couldn’t really do anything for me, since they weren’t a manager. Slow blinking in response, I told them to refund my order and I won’t do business with them again. I immediately ordered Papa Johns, which is on point every time. They were over in 20 minutes and saved my husband from a hangry tirade. A week later I noticed the refund wasn’t processed. I called actually to give them the benefit of the doubt; to redeem themselves. Expecting an apology, a free order, and a full refund. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were too busy. I then answered a barrage of questions about the incident. I was told then that the managers MIGHT be able to call me back at some point. It’s been over 24 hours and I haven’t heard anything back. I worked in the service industry throughout my early 20s and am simply disappointed in being treated this way as a customer. Frankly, I would much rather drive downtown to Palace, which in my opinion, is leaps and bounds beyond the pizza at J. Burns.

Not a bad place to go and have some decent pizza. The service was excellent, friendly and accommodating now if they could just tweak the flavor of the food and the crust of the pizza then I can give them 5 stars.

I was pretty disappointed at my last two visits. It always takes a long time to get your pizza, but that’s fine I can wait for quality. The salad was bland(iceberg lettuce in a bowl) and the pizza didn’t taste as good as it normally does. The sauce tasted like it was straight out of a can of generic tomato sauce with no attempt to spice it up. The atmosphere was lacking as well. The employees acted as though they didn’t want to be there or serve you(hence the whole serve yourself set up). I wouldn’t normally complain about bad contemporary christian music if I could block it out, but it was blaring at an unsettling noise level. Not planning on going back anytime soon. I grew up going to Jburns and love to enjoy locally owned restaurants. I have two words for the owners«Mellow Mushroom».

I was happy to have gluten free options, but the sauce and cheese were not that great. Reminded me of high school square pizza. Some people may like that but I didn’t. The inside was very clean and the staff was super nice. Just didn’t care for the pizza personally.

Great pizza! Love the crust… I found a hair baked into the cheese… They didn’t seem fazed by it, nor did they try to make it better… I had to buy another pizza! Keep your eyes peels for extra toppings.

Decent thin-crust pizza. We ate lunch on a very busy Friday afternoon. We’ll be back to try more of what they offer.

Been back several times. Pizza just not what it was when they opened. Not like the old J Burns at all.

This location has a nice lay-out with room for many to eat in. Their signature pizza is a very thin crust unique flavored pizza cut in squares. Deluxe is a fabulous taste explosion, but their Hawaiian pizza also is yummy. The small pizzas usually take about 10 minutes to come out after ordering. I have enjoyed their meatball sub and salads as well. A great«local» joint for a pit stop or a gathering. By registering your phone for orders, you can qualify for $ 5 off coupons(but they take forever to earn). I’d rate their food a high«4». The overall rating is because it’s run by kids more interested in socializing than working. On any given day, I can find 5 or 6 dirty tables & chairs(and no place to sit unless you clean it yourself) at 2 in the afternoon when 2 – 3 employees are having a grand time doing nothing but chat at the registers. Bad reflection on the place and makes it unappetizing to come too frequently. If the place were cleaner I’d be inclined to leave a tip even tho it’s an order at the register kind of place. Tips need to be earned.
