Great food and even better service! The Garlic and plantains are so good. This food was as good as the Cuban places in Miami. I recommend you try this place if you like Cuban food.

I’m from Miami moved to central Florida and the food here is the closest to Authentic Cuban I’ve found. The ham croquettes are just like grandma used to make. The prices are very very reasonable, the staff was actually Cuban!!! A little taste of home, my eyes teared up as I bit into my freshly made piping hot ham croquettes, little things are lacking (the crackers and pickles) but nothing big. The tops views was decent, I’ll definitely be making the 45min drive again. I miss hearing Cuban Spanish in the background. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Very very happy camper.

My 1st time here. Menu was tricky as I’m not sure what is what. Ordered pork a onions and beans and rice. They came w a white potatoe like thing. I ate everything. Food was wonderful. The wait staff did a great job trying to explain everything. I’ll definitely be back when in this area of Lakeland

I can’t explain how much my husband and I enjoy this restaurant! It’s very clean, service is always great! My husband and I generally don’t agree on the same entrée’s when we go out to eat but when it comes to this place we always get the RABO ENCENDIDO. It’s Oxtails stewed and cooked until it’s super tender in a rich flavorful sauce! I love getting Yucca & yellow rice as the sides. My husband ops for the sweet plantains to give the meal a sweet bite.

Amazing place! The food was Cuban and authentic. The seasoning was superb from appetizer to dessert. I ordered the ox tail with congri and platanitos. My mom has ropa vieja which was excellent. I will for sure be coming back!

I visited this restaurant for the first time for lunch. Found it very clean and inviting. I liked the décor. It was very busy. Ordered the lunch special which was a lechón asado (shredded pork with cooked onions) since I needed something quick. I also ordered a relleno de papa (Stuffed potato) which was very good. The lechón came with 2 sides. I ordered white rice and black beans along with maduros. All the sides were delicious. I was very disappointed in the pork. Although it was seasoned very well it was not fresh. It tasted like it was a day old and reheated. Some parts of my pork were tough.
With that said, I will probable give it another chance and order something else on the menu. The customer service was great and quick and there are a lot of menu items to choose from. Based on flavor profile I would go back.

Excellent Cubans, VERY nice staff (and pretty), a great stop for lunch. I walk out of there stuffed every time. Plenty of food for what you pay. Potato balls are awesome!
Son, you will not be disappoint!

Great Cuban food was kinda far of a drive but well worth it once you get there. The wide variety of Cuba soda was awesome and the coffee was wonderful. Bathrooms are clean and so are the tables and the waitresses are friendly and accommodating.

Went there for lunch today and it’s an authentic Cuban restaurant. The service was great and the location is not the best but the place was very clean. Had the Cuban sandwich, black beans & plantains. Will go back again in the near future

Brought my wife here for the first time. I had been here once before and gotten the Chicken Cordon Bleu. We both got it this time with the beans and rice and fried sweet plantains. It was absolutely amazing! This variation is not breaded, but is wrapped in bacon. Wonderfully crisp outside and moist and juicy inside. Already planning our next visit with a repeat of this meal. Based on our meal, I don’t think there could be something bad here. Definitely will recommend to others!

A good clean basic Cuban restaurant. They have all the Cuban staples. Although they have some non Cuban items (Cuban sandwiches are not Cuban). Excellent job on Maduras. Pulled pork or fried pork with mojo very authentic. Not dry. Cuban pulled pork is done less (cooked to 180 F) and the fat not rendered. Unlike North Carolina pulled pork which is cooked to 199. They had it just right. Very authentic. Cuban staff. Very pleasant atmosphere

There is nothing to fault about this place and everything to appreciate. I asked about three entrees and the gracious, attentive server thought for a bit then suggested the cabrito. Portion size was perfect, with the ample tender goat swimming in a delicious sauce; the advantage of having some bones was the round piece with «suck“ulent marrow.
The side of cassava was a delight of different textures, accented nicely by a few small rings of onion. The other side, black beans and brown rice, was a touch dry but came alive with the two table sauces (one nice & hot).
Not just great, but also heart-​warming service; delicious food with all the accents done right; pleasant atmosphere with afternoon sun on the burnished wood tables. It’s the sort of place you thank your lucky 5-​stars you stumbled upon. A class act.

Wow this place might as well be in Havana. This place is great from start to finish. I got the Ox tail and you could taste the love in every bite. Finally a ace that makes real Cuban chicken soup. The spoon was not big enough to get it in any faster. Overall don’t overlook this place It’s the BOMB
