NTB – National Tire & Battery

Horrible experience here. I went for an oil change this summer after scheduling an appointment. Although there were only 2 other customers there, it took me at least 15 minutes to get the attention of someone just to let them know I was dropping it off. I came back an hour later and again was ignored for quite some time, even with an increasingly agitated toddler, only to find out they hadn’t even moved the car yet. After it was finally done with a basic oil change, I went home, only to notice the next time I got in the car that the bottom of the driver side door was smashed in. I took the car back (after many times of trying to touch base with them over the phone) and the manager stated they would call their insurance, as it looked to him like the door was left open while it was on the lift and damaged as a result. Fast forward four months later the insurance claim was rejected because the manager of the NTB claimed they couldn’t have done the damage (a VERY different story than we had been given during this lengthy process). The area of the damage makes it very clear what occurred. They refuse to fix the damage, which has been assessed at over $ 2,000. The poor customer service on-​site, the damage to my vehicle, and, most upsetting, the responses of the manager, have made my experience with NTB Lakeville horrible.

Went to have my 2004 Chevy looked at for not being able to start and they called saying the front end was in bad condition saying we needed to replace our ball joints they gave an estimate of 1700.00 I went to Goodyear in Lakeville for a second opinion and they said there is not nothing wrong with our ball joints. I questioned the first statement from NTB because we just replaced them not long ago. I’m glad we went to Goodyear in Lakeville and they confirmed we were NOT IN NEED of a 1700.00 bill from NTB in Lakeville. DO NOT GO THERE they have kids running this place and trying to screw customers. If I could do a NEGATIVE STAR I WOULD.

Very friendly knowledgeable people here. Our oil change took longer than expected, but we were sufficiently taken care of. No pushy up sales or outrageous service requests. My go to place from here on out!

I made an appointment for an oil change at 4:30pm, i got there at 4pm. they took my info and said that it should be done by 5pm. I came back at 5pm and car was still not taken into the garage to change the oil. the front desk person said that they guys were changing tires on another care and they they will pull my car in and two guys will work on it. finally at 5:40 i was done. i was thinking, first off what’s the point of having an appointment if you can’t keep your time and 2ndly why does it take two guys to do an oil change in 40 minutes. I will be going back to sears again. i gave them a chance and they screwed up. their loss

Great service! We got a flat tire down the road while we were passing through town. They squeezed us in on a busy saturday and repaired our tire in no time. Would definitely recommend.
