I suggest shopping in the morning to avoid crowds. This Publix is very clean but I’d like to see them more competitive in price. My favorite employees are Ken and Jim. They take time to make sure you are all set and you’ve found everything you need. They are polite and I give me the feeling that I’m doing business with family. I like that! I also love how they offer baggers who will take your groceries to your car like the good ol days. Its worth the little extra cost to shop there to have top notch service with a kind and compassionate smile!

To expensive, just moved here from Northeast. Shop-Rite a North eastern regional supermarket capitalized on the regional area but they provided excellent service excellent food and the price was far superior in savings.
Publix capitalizes in all it the above with exception of price point.
it’s price 15−25% higher.
shame because they don’t have any competition to drive price point down. They corner the market.

Slowest deli employees I’ve ever experienced. I took a number and instead of calling out my number when I was next, the extremely slow gentleman working just asked the attractive girl after me if she was being helped yet… she was the next number after me.

I’m giving Publix 4 stars purely on the quality of their products. The service is usually pretty good, but more times than not you’re going to be waiting in the Deli, Customer Service or in line.
The store is clean, has boar’s head products and a long deli line to go along with it. I posted a tip to use their new online ordering system

Trying to get to the bagged salads is impossible during busy hours. They are stuck in a corner all the way in the beck, so only one person at a time with a shopping cart has access to them.
Four people behind the customer service desk, but no one can assist the person in the floral department !

The Lakewood Ranch, FL Publix is probably the best Grocery Store I’ve ever visited. All of the staff are extremely nice and helpful. Even the store Manager took the time to show my Dad and I where to find a product. The store is neat, clean, well organized and well stocked. Truly outstanding! Bravo!

My wife and I love shopping at our new Publix. We’ve always had a good experience with Publix but this one kicks it up a notch. The staff are incredibly friendly. The store is very clean and organized. As a business owner I can’t help but notice why this machine runs so well, It’s because it’s leader is a active player in this business model and I’ve seen him both run the ship and handle the registers. His name is Mark Hightower, a native of Sarasota/Bradenton. Congrats Mark to a job well done. Shop here, you won’t be dissappointed.
