If you are trying to save money on gas here, get a car wash or use cash to buy gas. Reason why gas prices are high here is due to its proximity by the 405 and Los Coyotes Diagonal. They do sell diesel and E85 Ethanol. A last resort place for those looking to gas up before they hit the freeway. Staff is friendly and prices are fair.

This place is SCAMMING everyone!!! We brought a BRANDNEW Vehicle in to get a car wash. When it came out, it had scratches ALL over it!!! When we reached out to the manager, they didnt care. When we reached out to the owner, he said«We have a disclaimer outside that says we are not responsible, Go ahead and try to sue us, you wont win, everyone who tries, doesn’t win due to the sign». Making it clear that this event has happened many times before. This is a car wash, you Expect that your car will be washed and there will not be scratches all over it. This owner obviously has an issue with his car wash that causes it to scratch cars and knows about it, and put a sign up to rid him from all responsibility, instead of fixing the issue. DON’T support thieves like this!!!

How does one rate a gas station? Should I focus solely on the prices at the pump? If so then all gas station in will get negative star ratings, at least from me they will. How about the store/mini mart? Rarely ever go inside some of them so my opinion there is very limited. Customer service? Well again I’m not one to pay with cash so rare are the times I make contact with the clerk(s). I pay at the pump, get my gas and it’s a done deal. So I guess on I’m to focus on: LOCATION: As with all gas station, this Shell is located on rather calm corner. Perhaps a down side to the location is that it’s not immediately accessible from the freeway, it’s approximately ½ to ¾ of a mile away from the 605fwy. So unless you’re a local or are familiar with the area, this isn’t a station that gets much«tourism» per se. ACCESSIBILITY: Because it’s on a corner it has two points of entry, fortunately the streets it’s on are not cluttered with heavy traffic so getting in and leaving are easy and painless. A plus in my book. PRICE: Compared to the Chevron down the street(and closer off the freeway) Shell offers slighter cheaper prices, but really there isn’t much of a difference in prices among the gas station in the overall area. SERVICES: 1. car wash; yes, they have one, if you buy one then you pay slightly less per gallon of gas. I’ve never used it so I don’t know how efficient it is. 2. mini mart, yes there is one as well. What’s inside I have no clue. 3. They offer diesel. 4. And finally in my experience the pumps have always worked and fortunately I’ve never encountered a problem paying at the pump… so other than that it’s an average experience nothing memorable either in the positive or negative, works for me and it’s convenient.

Gas is gas but at this place its expensive. The only times I’ve been here is if I’m desperate for some gas. The prices are the highest of any gas station I’ve ever been to considering there is there is another gas station just a few minutes away on Carson street.

This review is strictly for the car wash. I rarely ever get my car washed at a place(normally do it myself on our lawn) but I was I a hurry to have my car washed. There are three options for a car wash. $ 5 for the basic one, $ 6 for the middle option, and $ 7 for everything it offers. I chose the $ 6 option and it quickly washed my car but did a horrible job drying it and that left my car with tons of water spots that dried. Doesn’t even look like it got washed now. Never coming back to this place for a wash.

Do not use this dump. Everything is always broken. Always. Whoever owns the place doesn’t care. The gas prices are ridiculously higher than nearby stations. The vacuum barely sucks but they insist on not just calling the patient dead and putting an out of order sign on it. This has been the case at least a year. The pumps are broken a lot. If they do work you will have to go inside to get your receipt or pay(which is awesome if you’re in a hurry, which is the only reason you’d go here!) about half the time. Car wash is out of service 1 out of 4 times you drive through(also the only reason you might buy potentially their egregiously overpriced gas). Owner doesn’t care. I’ve stopped informing them of the brokenness because it’s not like they’re going to fix anything. It’s not like this place gets a lotta wear and tear, no one goes here that lives here unless you have to. And did I mention their prices suck?

They’re currently undergoing major construction so only four pumps are operational. It looks like they’re replacing some of the underground tanks. Not the best place to buy competitively priced gas, but when you’re almost empty, it’s convenient.

I used to live in this neighborhood, and this gas station was always empty because the locals knew not to use it. I suspect this place is kept in business by people that get lost coming off the 605. Gas prices are usually way higher here than the other local gas stations(Vons gas on Woodruff and Carson, 76 on Palo Verde and Los Coyotes Diagonal). There’s also another price sign on Los Coyotes Diagonal(if you’re heading south from the residential neighborhood toward Carson) that shows lower prices — I believe those gas prices are for if you get a car wash. So don’t be fooled. I was a sucker today because I was in a rush, but never again.

Swipe your Ralph’s card at the pump for a $ 0.10 discount. But I was trying to buy a car wash too and wasn’t given that option. A little confused. Best to get gas here if your low on fuel. THEREARENOOTHERGASSTATIONSALONGCARSONSTREET for a couple miles!!! If youre heading East on Carson street, be careful when you try to turn left into the gas station. The first left leads you into the wrong driveway. Make a u-turn at the light instead

Gas Is reasonably priced. Not like the ones close to the fwy that hike up their prices. It has a reliable automatic car wash, 7 and 5 dollar washes. An the staff is always friendly. My favorite fuel up spot.
