I was walking to the Root to meet a friend for coffee when I glanced in the window of Cerny. New Balance 574’s for $ 55 on the sale rack were the shoes that brought me in. I walked out with a great pair of shoes that I will put a lot of miles on. Don’t waste your time on Zappos or Amazon. Keep your money in the community and out of the greedy corporate clutch.

Somewhat limited selection of well-​made shoes, including Keen, Chaco, and brands I think of as being more orthopedic in nature. There are diabetic shoes and socks sold here. Sandals, dressier shoes (but not sexy), running, and walking shoes are all sold here. Nice resource for harder-​to-​find shoes.
Very helpful owner… she is very enthusiastic about footwear. She immediately zone in on my vintage flowered Doc Martins. She knew what years they were made! I think that’s pretty cool.
