Chipotle Mexican Grill

Awesome service! I ordered two carnitas burritos and the preparer got them both set up until the meat and then realized they were all out of carnitas and asked if I would mind waiting 6 minutes. I didn’t mind. About five minutes in, someone came up to me and offered me a free drink and told me it would be a few more minutes and said my entire meal was free! Once the carnitas was ready, they threw away the old burritos that they started and made two fresh burritos. Wow! Everything tasted delicious!

I’d give this place no stars if I could. I’m typing this sitting next to my sick boyfriend who had a chicken burrito for dinner last night from this location. I’ve made a couple service complaints about this specific Chipotle before, but I’ve never had to complain about the quality of the food until now.
I received the free meal and free chips/​salsa coupons in the mail and decided to come in with my boyfriend for dinner with the free meal coupon. I ordered a steak bowl and he used my coupon for his chicken burrito.
The service seems to get slower and worse every time I visit this location. The workers try to move fast but the overall service is slow, and the store is always a mess — especially the counters where they’re putting my food together. On top of that, the girl couldn’t be bothered to scoop me any fresh steak — I got the very last bits of the batch and honestly, it looked disgusting and there wasn’t very much of it to begin with. The only pleasant thing about my experience at this location today was probably the cashier. We took our food to go, to eat at home.
A couple hours after eating, my boyfriend began feeling sick. He spent the rest of the night throwing up his dinner. Every time I gave him Gatorade or ginger ale to help settle his stomach and keep him from dehydrating, he threw it all back up. I had to take him to the ER, he could barely sleep. I can only assume that the cause was either the chicken, lettuce, or pinto beans, as these were the only two differences in our meals. And while the cause of this bug my boyfriend caught could’ve been from a number of things regardless of this Chipotle meal, it seems that he was fine until he had his burrito. With the company’s latest track record, and this store’s obvious deteriorating service and quality, I wouldn’t be surprised if his burrito was the source.
I’ve never been so disappointed. I’ve loved Chipotle from the start and after such a big deal about health and safety procedures and meetings, etc., etc., I thought I’d give you guys another chance. I’m sure there are millions of other customers who will carry on their business with you, regardless of the news, but my boyfriend and I will not be apart of that statistic.

If I could give them no stars I would. 2^nd visit in a row DISAPPOINTED Last visit no white rice. Had to wait 10−15min. The restaurant was EMPTY! Now tonight… stale chips. Did you know they make chips at 4pm and that’s it. Asked if a fresh batch could be made and was told.NEGATIVE. No 3^rd time for me…

Sitting here waiting for chicken. Its 1pm… how do they run out of chicken. Sadly, this is not the 1^st time this has happened. Get it togeter guys. Need to find a new place. Very disappointing.

Undercooked rice. Burnt fajita. Skimping on sauce. Missing items at checkout. It’s a shame I loved this Chipotle and gave them a shot after the ecoli scare. But after today I don’t think I will be back.

What’s the purpose of ordering online through the Chipotle application if when one shows up to pickup the food you are told that «your order hasn’t been done yet» even though you are 5 minutes past the scheduled pick up time. And what is even worse is that you end up waiting longer that if you would’ve had just showed up at the line.

So good. I went in today and ordered my usual chicken burrito, chips and guacamole, and a drink. When I went to pay, my debit card was missing from its spot in my wallet. Seeing my panic, the delightful girl at the register gave me my meal for free before I could even reach for my credit card!!! I was so surprised. I wish I had gotten her name. She really made my day I will never stop eating Chipotle! It is a great alternative to restaurants that serve less-​than-​desirable food.

I will forever stay loyal to my wonderful Chipotle inspite of negative accusations, especially since they did complete a major overhaul of their quality control system and have bounced back splendidly. I always get the bowl or the burrito, and every single piece of meat and vegetable is consistently perfect. We won’t give up on you Chipotle, just keep doing what you do best!
(BUT just in case, I am skipping the lettuce and doubling up on my vitamins to build my immune system. Defense is the best offense!)

decent service, very slow moving though. They either don’t have enough people in the front line, or the people there are not very efficient.

Did I really just have to ask for lemons? Really… REALLY!!! Lemons came in a container too… wow. Just wow.

It’s chipotle… what do u expect? Fast burritos for a decent price. Great location but parking can be tough.

I love Chipotle. the combination of corn, black beans, lime infused rice and their awesome mild salsa is so mindblowingly delicious! Meat is good too but I love veggies;)
My usual Chipotle location is in Cerritos and even though the service there isn’t too good, I’m there for the food so I can deal with bad attitudes. a the reason I switched locations is because the Cerritos location parking hassle is out of control, I’m surprised there hasn’t been an accident there.
Today I stopped at this Lakewood location and even though it’s near Ihop and a strip mall, parking didn’t seem to be an issue, I found one space up front almost immediately.
The location is much bigger than the Cerritos location, clean too but I don’t believe I seen the Cerritos location dirty or unkempt.
I was lucky that my visit today went smoothly, 3 people in line ahead of me and I was out of there within 8 minutes. One thing that made my day was that my favorite server from the Cerritos location was here, they must have transfered her. She puts love into the bowls she prepares, takes her time and gives me eye contact, super friendly and sweet.
All in all, I recommend this location. fresh and friendly people, will definitely be back!

Nice location, clean and for the most part not too crazy with people. Service is a little slow. I like this location because they offer margaritas. Like all Chipotle’s you have to be careful stopping by over the weekend (long lines).

Place is always intact and clean everytime I go. I usually always place my order online and I never had any issues all the staff is great and fast. portions are just right… Keep up the great work…

THE SLOWEST chipotle ever. Do yourself a favor and order ahead of time. Doesn’t matter if its slow inside because they move at the speed of molasses behind the counter.
Other than that the food is typical chipotle and the restaurant is usually pretty clean.

Went around 4pm on a Tuesday and it wasn’t too busy. There is usually a really long line whenever I go.
3 stars because the portion they gave us was so little… They usually hook it up and fill our bowl up so much that I still had some left over to build a burrito literally, this time I felt gypped):
More rice, more meat please.

Staff was pretty slow and clueless at this location.

Chipotle started charging for shit they never did before… you used to be able to get your burrito wrapped with 2 tortillas… extra 1.09 now. With each meal now you can only get 1 extra side of salsa… anymore will be 1.09 each. They even charged me 1.09 for sour cream on my Godson’s quesadilla. HMM that’s some shady shit.
The staff is slow but tries to rush which it doesn’t work & comes off as unprofessional…

Normally get the chicken bowl from here and it’s a hit and miss. Some days is just blah! And some days it’s just sooo friggin amazing, but then again it could be because I’m starving coming from the gym and I’m way too lazy to cook. Either way I guess this place is «somewhat» healthy and it does the job when I’m in a hurry and want something quick and easy. Depending on who’s serving you sometimes they skimp on the meat so you gotta say «keep it coming. a little more, ok that’s good.» On the positive side they always got great music playing. Always said I was going to ask for their playlist but never do… Maybe next time since I’ll probably be back when I’m lazy again.

Not the best Chipotle location, but many Chipotles are getting worse and worse. Here, the line is ridiculously long, making customers wait for at least 15 minutes. Some people often leave the line because they don’t want to wait.
Parking at times can be difficult since there aren’t too many spots in the lot. But I think it’s the only Chipotle in the area so everyone goes here.
