Dairy Queen

I went to get one of their sandwiches I use to get last year and they didn’t have them on the menu. They said they still had the bread and could make one for me. It was horrible, dry, old lettuce, barely toasted and no cheese and it was tiny. I will never go back there. I can’t believe they could give someone that kind of bad quality and stay in business.

I’ll update my review since my last post got removed… worst customer service ever. The young man who rang us up was rude from the beginning, while handing him coupons, after ringing us up, then he was even worse with my uncle and his boys who were next. We definitely won’t be back. I’ve worked several customer service jobs, and whether your having a good or bad day, your still friendly especially when we were being nice.

This is consistently the worst Dairy Queen which is unfortunate because it is the closest to me. Time and time again I learn why I am willing to drive and walk to the DQ in the Mills mall. Fifth strike your out. I will never go to this DQ again. First instance an extremely liquidy Oreo malt I question whether there was any ice cream in it. I made my husband turnaround and go back to have them fix it. Second through fourth instances Reese’s blizzards with little to no Reese’s and usually very liquid. Fifth and final straw tonight a cookie dough blizzard with literally 4 cookie dough pieces and I was able to pour it out. Stay away from this one if you want a blizzard that is thick and has candy etc in it.

I’m not sure why the negative reviews about this place. If your food is good, why give it 2 stars? You got your food and you can’t expect an ice cream place to serve phenomenal sandwiches/​hot dogs/​etc. Besides, it’s more like a first job for a lot of middle school/​high school people. Ok enough about my rant, onto my actual review.
My fiancé and I went here about 30 minutes before closing through the drive thru. The person who took our order was more than helpful and didn’t try to rush us in us ordering. He made great conversation with us while we waited. I actually contacted corporate about his over the top friendly demeanor. We as well went in yesterday for a sit down ice cream. Again, excellent customer service, I noticed that they helped one another and got our ice cream and blizzard within a 2 minute window frame. The third person was cleaning the prep area while another was taking out the garbage. They do work as a team very well. This is one DQ/​OJ I would enjoy going to over and over again. I’ve been here on busy nights during the summer and never once have I seen them mess up an order. But maybe I’m just lucky on when I go :).

It was quite comical to watch the 10 teenagers that work here try and fill orders on a busy Friday night.
They were literally running into each other, making the same things twice, and NOT working as a team.
Our sandwiches were okay, can’t really expect too much when you’re at DQ.
It is quite convenient being down the street from us, though.

This is a Dairy Queen/​Orange Julius. They have a drive-​thru, which is nice, and they are pretty fast with those orders. There is often a wait in the drive-​thru, though, just because so many people use it. The employees are friendly and they don’t have a high turnover, so you’ll see the same smiling faces there when you go.
