I am not sure what all the complaints are for, this place was great, very clean, prompt service, the food was fantastic, place was practically empty but that’s never a problem. Authentic food, basic Italian food basic wines and beer.

Hadn’t been here in years. Those of you who knock this place, don’t appreciate a good old fashioned, old school neighborhood place. This is the kind of place I grew up with. No frills, no pretense, just good sauce with lasagna. At least that’s what we had. Salad is iceberg, but so what? Lots of fellow baby boomers and families, and the place is packed. Reasonably priced, too!

I was here in November and had a bad experience and I called the owner. She said she would«investigate» and call me back! That was 2 ½ months ago! Dino would roll in his grave if he knew what was happening to his pride and joy! Service is bad and food is bland! Save your $ and go to Carrabbas :)

Horrible food. Mannicotti undercooked and ricotta cheese inside was cold. Bread was cold. Walking in the fountain has black residue around it and it smells like an aquarium. Service wasnt exceptional but not bad.

I have not been to Dino’s in probably 15 years. Not sure why that is, it was always outstanding food. Still excellent italian. fresh made and just plain yummy. Home made pasta is just the beginning.

Service is meh. The food is NOT Italian. The«Salad Supreme» is a god damn pile of iceberg lettuce and some shredded carrots. The chef has the audacity to lay a slice of processed American cheese on it. What in the hell? $ 8.00 for that? That’s a supreme pile of shit. The pasta is homemade, but far from authentic. I heard this shit was some sort of staple in the area. These people must be really poor or stupid. The damn pasta is SWIMMING in bland sauce. God damn disappointment. I love Italian. Just try to get some pesto in that shit show. I’d dare you.

Tried this place twice and was extremely disappointed both times. The food was bland and tasteless and the service was mediocre. I was hoping it would be better the second try but it was worse. My spaghetti was cold, the sauce tasted like tomato soup with extra tap water, the salad was rusty lettuce with their choice of vinegar and the bread was just bread. I’ll go to McDonalds before I would go back. Avoid if at all possible, save your money.

We have been going to Dino’s since we moved to the neighborhood in the early 80s — coming from Boulder where we frequented the Louisville red sauce restaurants and felt then that Dino’s had a better product. It’s interesting to read these reviews — those that are long time devotees of Dino’s love the food and service. First timers are generally not as impressed. We still consider it a treat and will keep coming back. Additionally — very convenient take out –quarts of noodles and sauce.

Went for the first time for a dinner and ordered the homemade noodles while the wife got the Rigatoni. Both dishes were good, but I wasn’t blown away. Next time, I’m gonna go with their pizza and give my final verdict. The atmosphere is very warming and cozy, and the service was good. The prices were also really reasonable and overall, we had a good experience.

According to my Dad I’ve been going to Dino’s since I was 10 months old.(OMG! That was almost half a century ago.) Every time I walk through the door, the smells from the kitchen hit me and I’m flooded with the emotions and memories of long ago dinners with family and friends. Anyway, getting back to the review: I absolutely love the spaghetti and meatballs with the homemade noodles and the pizza made to order is the best anywhere(I always put a little spaghetti sauce on it, Chicago Style) and this is one place that I never skip the salad. We had an excellent meal today, as always, and Dino’s remains on my Top 5 of favorite restaurants.

Best Spaghetti Meatball sandwiches. The lunch special is a great deal! Dino’s from the outside might fool you, but the inside is beyond nice. A must see in Lakewood. Fast, great food. I work across the street and have always enjoyed the food and service. Try the spaghetti meatball with a chili pepper and cheese!

The food here is so affordable and the portions are great. The main area is wonderful for families(older people really love it) and the bar is a fantastic place for a quiet, inexpensive and very romantic date. Even the carry out is wonderful.

Dino’s is one of my favorite childhood memories and I’m so glad they are still here! I hope they never leave, that would be devastating. Really good food, great service too.

This is some of the blandest food I’ve ever had. Better Italian food can be made at home by even the simplest of cooks. The pizza was abhorently greasy and salty but otherwise tasteless. The spaghetti was home-made(Yay!) but cold and tasteless. Same with the meatballs. Our server acted like we were inconveniencing her by ordering. The plus side was big portions(Tons of leftovers we didn’t want to eat!) The menu that hasn’t been updated in ten years features hilarious tidbits like –NO Phony Toppings Used Here«Guaranteed» and –Taste the Quality of «Real» ingredients

We’ve been enjoying Dino’s since it opened in the 1960’s. We live 3 hours away but try to get our«fix» as often as possible. The homemade noodles are the real thing, sauce is yummy, and the pies are fabulous. When always buy a quart of the salad dressing to take home — so simple but so good. Does anyone have any idea of the recipe for the salad dressing ??? Would be much appreciated.

Yum yum yum! I’ve been coming to Dino’s since I can remember. This place has been in my family and will forever be in my heart with great memories and delicious food. I’m a huge fan of their Italian sausage and homemade noodles. Nothing says home to me more than a nice plate of Dino’s spaghetti with homemade noodles and Italian sausage. Their meatballs are very good too, I love their ravioli and their bread is a family favorite. Their pizza is also one of the best. Their salad is pretty good. I always look forward to it with the Italian dressing, breadsticks and their peppers. If we ever have leftovers they don’t last long. And Dino’s is a place that my entire family can agree on dining at. The service is also friendly which makes the experience so much better. You can’t pass Dino’s up if your in the area. I live in Hawaii and I wait to come to town for Dino’s!
