Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt

I prefer Golden Spoon over any of the other frozen yogurt places. I only wish they changed their selection more often.

I have come here a few times now and the yogurt is good but they need a bigger selection.
The owner also needs to train his young employees to have a better attitude when helping customers because this has happened more than once now.

This is the best GS around and the best frozen yogurt there is! I’ve been coming here for years and years — wonderful service and amazing frozen yogurt! Couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Showed up on a Tuesday evening at 9:40pm and the «closed» sign was up, lights were off and door was locked. This was after I called and the girl told me it was open until 10pm (as the sign on the door says). I tried open the door and the girl inside said they closed early but was willing to let me in to get something. I walked in and saw that they had six flavors available (since when does golden spoon ever have that few?!). I also realized that had no dairy free options (sorbet) so I left with nothing. All around a poor experience.

The customer service here sucked. One of the girls there was very rude and impatient with us. We’ve never been to this place before nor will we return either. The yogurt was ok. Nothing special. They don’t have a variety of flavors. It was empty for a reason. If you want over priced yogurt that tastes like nothing, then waste your money here. Otherwise don’t even bother stopping by.

Really friendly joyful staff. Really generous servings. This is my favorite golden spoon in the area. The one on stearns in LB could learn a thing or two from these guys.

I wanted some Yogurtland but they are currently closed so the next closest frozen yogurt location was this one and i decided to try it out for the first time but I was not happy :/​they don’t let you add your own toppings, not many yogurt flavors to choose from. Plus they charged so much for the tiny bit of toppings added. I will not be back again not my type of frozen yogurt place.

The yogurt itself is not too bad. However, I asked for whipped cream. The lady told me that she could put whipped cream on my yogurt. When I bit into it, I was disgusted. It was non diary whipped topping. There is clearly a difference between whipped non diary topping and whipped cream. The former is an inferior product used to save money.
Two small yogurts with 1 topping each and «whipped cream» on mine was over $ 10. I will not be back.

My family has been enjoying this place for over 20 years! Great service with yummy frozen yogurt! The owner is amazing. He always makes you feel welcome.

My favorite frozen yogurt place! The people that work there are always friendly. And most of them are non-​fat!!!

My FAVORITE frozen yogurt by far. I drive here from Alhambra every couple of weeks and stock up on quarts for my freezer. I’ve tried just about every fro yo place and this is the best. The staff and owner are especially friendly at this location as well. Peanut Butter Cup and Old Fashioned Vanilla are my two favorite flavors. i wish there was a Golden Spoon in Pasadena!

Golden spoon is pretty good stuff when you are in the mood for some plain old frozen yogurt! Toppings can be basic, but I like to keep it simple when it comes to froyo!

The Golden Spoon has been in Lakewood for years and is still one of the best yogurt places in town. They have great flavors, some of them are seasonal like the mint for St Patrick’s Day. It goes well with my all time favorite, coffee.
The store is clean and inviting. The Proprietor, Tom, is always friendly and patient when my grandkids want samples.

Great yogurt, lots of options, fair prices, no complaints.

Everybody loves Golden Spoon.
I actually remember coming to this location in kindergarten after seeing Aladdin in the movie theater. Yeah, it’s been here that long.
Nothing ritzy or trendy about it. In fact, most Golden Spoon locations are really outdated looking, as is this one. But the frozen yogurt is the shizznit, and it’s low fat. It’s a nice treat after bargain hunting at Marshall’s or Tuesday Morning.
No wi-​fi, but you can hop on to the AT&T wifi from the Starbucks next door.

We learned about Golden Spoon when we first started Weight Watchers and we fell in love. I tend to overdue it, since I’m a ridiculous ice cream addict and I eat when I’m feeling too much, but yeah… um. oh yeah! Their chocolate peanut butter is the best and really the only one that I can eat a lot of at once. I try a new flavor every time they have one, and they all taste good, but I can’t eat a regular of an overly sweet/​fruity frozen yogurt. And I have learned the hard way… every time I get a different flavor I get home and I’m just disappointed… I want my chocolate peanut butter! Another flavor I really like that hardly ever comes around is the ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ (orange cream). That one I can also finish a whole regular of, but nothing more than that!
The guy that runs the place is SO nice and remembers me. I’ll be living back on campus and not come to this Golden Spoon for 8 – 9 months and the first day I am back in town and go to Golden Spoon he remembers me and talks to me. Just a really friendly guy. Some of the young people/​kids that work there are not pleasant and don’t fill my cup enough… rude.

Don’t forget to ask for a stamp card! 10 stamps = free frozen yogurt.

This is just your average Golden Spoon with one or two negatives.
1. The prices are slightly higher than other locations in the area (such as the Golden Spoon in Cypress)
2. The mini is in a cheap plain cup that appears smaller than other locations.
Otherwise, it’s the run of the mill Golden Spoon. I don’t see how they get much business being in between a Starbucks (who wouldn’t want them some Starbucks over Golden Spoon?) and a Rite Aid (who wouldn’t want them some chocolate malted crunch?)
