Love the meatball sandwich. Staff is always great and upbeat. One of my favorite places to go to get something quick to eat.

Five stars for ease of online ordering for multiple people. I come from a large and picky eating family. Everyone is happy when I order here. Fresh, quality ingredients and friendly service. Glad Potbelly’s is in my neighborhood now.

I love Potbelly Sandwiches! I DON’T like being treated like I’m a burden. The girl behind the counter acted like I was putting her out just because I came in at 830 at night for dinner. She couldn’t be bothered to say hello or put my sandwiches and chips in a bag for me. She could barely even muster up enough energy to put ingredients on my sandwiches, the word«toss» comes to mind, let alone all the ingredients I asked for on both sandwiches. Because I love Potbelly Sandwiches I will go back, but if I see her mug again, I won’t step foot in the door.

I would have given this place 5 stars, but the last time I got a sandwich from there, I found a hair in it from the guy who made my sandwich. That really turned me off to eating there. The coffee Oreo shake I had once was okay, but it seemed like something was off about it. Their balsamic vinaigrette is pretty tasty. The prices are pretty good for their original size sandwich, a drink, and chip, which is more than enough for me.

Affordable and decent sandwiches. Coming from Florida, I have never heard of Potbelly’s. But if I had to equate it to something familiar, Quiznos is the answer. A similar setup for food prep and a similar concept, Potbelly’s offers toasted sandwiches. I found the bread to be decent but not exceptional, and the meet was fine. Nothing to drive me wild and write a boastful review. Potbelly’s offers consistent and moderate priced food. Inside was clean and tidy. I like the color scheme and the layout is easy to follow. Additionally, a local blind musician was stationed there singing and playing popular hits while I ate. He was good too. For reference, I tried the turkey sandwich. I think a better sub roll would spruce up the sandwiches. But I like more of a crunch from my toasted bread.

As a fat girl, I like generous portions. Healthy portions just keep me on track. I had Potbelly’s when I was in DC for a conference and I loved it. I moved to Denver from California and was eating here about 2 hours after I arrived. My sons both loved the food and the portions and for healthy young adults that says it all. They don’t serve everything that was at the DC Potbelly’s, the only reason for 4 stars. The service was friendly and quick. We sat right in front of the gentleman that sang and played music. I sang every song with him and left him a tip. I really enjoyed my experience and I would definitely eat this over the air sandwiches they serve at Subway.

I was impressed with this place. I had the roast beef with everything except mayo and oil and it was delicious. I am also a sucker for a toasted sub, so that gets my vote as compared to other sub shops. People are right it is just a sub shop, but I think we all have our ideas on what a sandwich is to us, and for me this place is a winner. While the sandwich may seem small, I was full by the time I was done with sandwich and chips and the price reflects the size. Two of us with a sub each, a bag of chips, and each a drink I think it totaled out at 16 bucks, not a bad deal if you ask me. The service was super friendly, and I was equally taken with the guy they had playing the keyboard during lunch. It was a little loud, but not loud enough where it was intrusive. Another impressive point for me is they serve Zapps potato chips. Being a native of South Louisiana, Zapps is always the way to my heart.

I used to go the the original location in Chicago by DePaul university and it was crazy to see a franchise here in Colorado! Tastes just like I remember! It brings me back to 1994!

Wow. This place rocks. I had the Italian and it was awesome. It actually had flavor and had meat on it unlike crappy subway who doesn’t know how to make a decent sandwich. I had the pepper mix on it and it was goooood. It was really spicy and flavorful and I loved it. Idk what peppers are in it but I totally want a jar of it. This. Is my new favorite sandwich shop.

Cute little place. The sandwiches where really good! When we where there they had a guy in the corner playing live music which made for a great atmosphere. Food well portioned and not overwhelming with bread and lettuce. Sandwiches all done hot-spot topping options too. Overall a good, affordable choice for lunch.

Just because it’s not terrible, doesn’t mean it’s good. The formula here is fast, cost-comparable to fast food while being arguably healthier. I say arguably, because while they advertise fresh, the meat isn’t sourced as nitrate-free or antibiotic-free. Even Good Times offers that. My bread(I got white) was underwhelming and a little dry. I got the Wreck sandwich(it was 4 meat, cheese, a little lettuce, didn’t find any tomato, but had small hot peppers and dressing.) About $ 6 inc tax. Compared to subway, I’d say come here, but Jimmy Johns is better and it’s not even in the same ballpark as D’Deli.

Not really impressed. Small sandwiches lacked some serious flavor. Even with condiments on them, all I tasted was mustard. Employees seemed bothered we were there. Love the soda fountain with both coke and Pepsi. But I prefer firehouse or for that matter, even subway. I can get a flavorful sub at either of those places.

Run of the mill chain sandwich shop features smaller sandwiches and very rapid service. On my only visit so far, I had the Wreck sandwich with their very tasty hot pepper blend, a pickle and an iced tea and got out for $ 8.50 plus a tip, which is a pretty good deal for a quick lunch. When I’m craving a sandwich and I’m not super hungry I’ll come here again. I’ll go down the street to Firehouse if I’m really hungry, as their sandwiches are larger and more filling(but also cost a few bucks more).

The pizza sandwich is delicious and the skinny ham and cheese is quite filling! Also, they have Zapp’s chips for anybody with fond memories of those!

This is a new location for a national chain — if you have trouble locating it, find Jose O’Shea’s, go immediately south and you’re there. My general impression is that Potbelly in general, and this Potbelly store in particular, is pretty much like most other sandwich shops of its ilk. Mind you, I like most or all of these sandwich shops — I just don’t find them particularly distinct one from another. I don’t include Subway in this cohort — to me, Subway is kind of the McDonalds of the sandwich world(but that’s not a criticism — they generally do a good job of what/who they are). The«others» — Potbelly, Jimmy John’s, Firehouse, Stack, Snarf’s, Which Wich, Jersey Mike’s, Lenny’s, etc, etc, etc — order me whatever they call their Italian sub, blindfold me and dare me to tell the difference — most of the time, no can do. Is there anything unique or distinctive about Potbelly? They heat their subs — not everyone does that. Likewise, not everyone has soups, salads, baked goods, shakes and smoothies. Otherwise, comparisons in terms of dining area, service, quality, and value are more nuance than substantive. If you wnat a sandwich and you’re driving south on Union Boulevard in Lakewood, here’s my suggestion on how to decide: 1. turn right into Potbelly and give them a try 2. if you miss your turn, go two more blocks, turn right into Stack and give them a try 3. if you’re really that bad a driver and miss both turns, go another half block, turn right into Firehouse and give them a try 4. if you miss all three turns, you’re probably pretty hopeless and I really can’t help you

Just finished one of the better sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the wreck with bacon. Phenomenal. And THE best bowl of chicken noodle I’ve ever had. Sandwich was warm and crisp without a ton of crunch just to bite into it, and it was under $ 5. Portion and proportion of bite were perfect between bread and filling, and the soup broth left me wondering what tasted so great. Anyone who whines about the portion here either shouldn’t be eating as much as they normally do, or quit comparing this place to subway. This is a far superior product to that overprocessed, overtoasted crap that subway schlups out.

The sandwich will not fill you up and it’s very small. They do not even have the big size that all potbelly sub places have. The worker gave me some lame excuse because they just opened, but if a place just opened you would think they would aim to impress. The bread is nothing special nor are the ingredients. I bought a wreck on the menu and I would like to confirm that’s exactly what it is. For the same price as subways foot long you get this tiny sandwich which will not fill you at all. The peppers are hard and barely spicey. The kettle cooked new Orleans style hotter n hot jalapeño chips are the worst chips Iv ever consumed. I have lived in new Orleans and they would be embarrassed by these disgusting tasting chips one word on how these chips taste«plastic». I highly recommend any one that’s into subs stay far away and look elsewhere.

Glad that potbelly has made its way to Colorado, finally! Hot subs, great variety of drinks and delish shakes and cookies for desert!
