Pro Nails

As a licensed cosmetologist. Warning. Do not visit this place. They are about quick service, even if that means damaging your nails. Instead of soaking off my gels/​Acrylic the young boy I got cut half of my nail off and then called the other woman over to discuss the situation. I wanted my acrylics off, and a manicure. I said, don’t you soak them? In my salon, that’s what we do. The woman he called over said «no we have to cut them off». Like I said. Quick and damaging. If I would have allowed the guy to finish he would have cut all my nails off, AND damage my nail bed. No thanks. Good luck to you

I’ve been coming here for over a year and they’re wonderful, accommodating, friendly, and the prices are great.

I came here on the 1^st of May, two days before my week long vacation to Mexico. I wanted cute nails and a bikini wax.
First off, they did NOT clean my nails before applying the acrylic nails on. So when I got clear acrylics guess what happened? There was visible lint behind my nails. (I work dog grooming). I asked them about it and they said I could wash my hands and it would come off. Wrong. They also did a terrible job applying the acrylic nails and you could see the glue through the nails. Great. The worst part? The nails were so cheaply put on THEY BROKE THE NEXT DAY! But i had a flight to catch.
I asked them to do a pedi but due to the language barrier they had no idea until I finally asked one of the staff who knew a little more English. I had mentioned I wanted all my nails done several times and yet they had no clue.
MY BIGGEST PROBLEM. The bikini wax. They burned me horribly!!! I told them it was my first time getting a wax and I’m very pregnant and could not see down there. So they waxed me. A few days later I noticed dead skin coming off and I thought maybe it was an exfoliating issue… Until my skin started smelling like dead skin.
So I took a picture with my phone because I couldn’t see myself and oh. My. God. They burned me! It’s several shades darker than my skin color. Dramatically! And there’s bumps and dead skin that smells bad and at this point I want to cry because I have sensitive skin that scars easily. Now I have a messed up bikini line that’s probably going to stay dark and scar until God knows when. I wish I could sue because now I have the worlds ugliest thighs ever!
NEVER AGAIN.

I was in Bellflower while the hubby built a dog run for his grandma. I live in South OC. I reeeeally needed a pedi, so I Unilocaled and found this place. Do NOT expect glamor or a spa experience. But it was a decent pedi for half of the price of the OC. Don’t get me wrong — I wouldn’t go even a little bit out of my way to go to this place, nor would I trust it with a special occasion or vacation pedi. But if you need a run of the mill pedi, and for some reason find yourself in this area, go for it.

All i got was a manicure (7.99). But they were nice ladies who clean their tools at a good price. My new nail spot

i love the prices, but after my last visit for a pedicure i got an infection under my big toe nail, which had to be treated by a medical doctor.

I was on a mission to get my brows waxed and decided that I’d give this place a go. Pro Nails has some major competition within the span of three blocks and I frequent two other locations in the vicinity. I mustered up the courage to walk in and asked for them to hook up my face with a quick waxing session.
Cindy and Jimmy were on the clock the day I went in and they were both SUPER nice. My brows came out good and Cindy did a thorough job of making sure I was happy. I walked in thinking I’d be out of there within 15 minutes but I thought that I should at least serve them some good justice and get a pedicure. Since there were already two people being taken care of, I needed to wait as Jimmy finished up the girl a head of me. I soaked my tots and sipped the bottled water I was given while I patiently waited for my turn. At least the TV was keeping me occupied!
Jimmy took care of me and made sure I liked my foot massage. Ladies, you all know the foot caressing is a mighty big perk to getting your toes did! Cindy finished me off with french tips and a black line under it. They came out… OKAY but not perfect (just how I like ‘em). Honestly, the next day my polish was chipping and didn’t look too fresh. I didn’t even have a rough day, just went to sleep and took a shower. Product quality, maybe?
Don’t get me wrong, their nice and the prices are average. You might want to double check on actual pricing versus posted pricing. It wasn’t a big deal to me but they added a dollar to my waxing (just thought you’d like to know the real deal). I might be back to get waxed or my lashes done. $ 35 for individuals? I’ll have to check her out on that!

This place is ok I’ve yet to find the perfect nail salon I’ll probably give this place a second chance

this is my local go to spot for pretty much all my beautifying needs! lol. i come here on a monthly basis to get my spa pedi and to get my eyebrows threaded. on special occassions my mani. I love all the people here, they are so nice to you especially Kelly, the owner. They are so thorough with the cleaning of my toes, it hurts bc they dig, which i love! i love the spa chair, also another plus is that they use OPI nail polish. my fav brand purely bc of quality. I was i na hurry one night and Kelly was giving me a french manicure, and she did it in like 15min tops! and it was such a great job! even when there are a lot of ppl waiting they always always are thorough with you and make sure you get the nail salon service you love.
And yes i get my eyebrows threaded there! who says only indians can do it?! Kelly is amazing, she pays so much attention to detail and makes sure your eyebrows are gorgeous and not overly done! all while you get ur toes done! its the perfect combination to get pampered =)
