Place was dirty at 11 am and we were the only ones in the place. The buns were not soft. Not worth it.

First time coming and although the food is great the waitress is horrible. We had to flag her down twice to order. We had to go go up to the counter whenever we wanted to order a beer or anything for that matter. This place either needs an additional bartender or a new one that can handle a busy bar.

Dog was actually delicious, but walking into an establishment where everyone looks at you like you’re an alien instead of saying hello kind of rubbed me the wrong way but I was hungry so whatever. Will I be back? Probably not.

This place is gross, mops and brooms left between the bar and kitchen for everyone to see. The food is YUCK! 1st time and last time.

You are only welcome here if you have a neck beard and a pot belly. Clientele and staff not diverse in the least.

My buddy Zac and I go here every Tuesday and Tera is the best waitress we could have asked for. Thank you Dog House for hiring such excellent employees, and most importantly, thank you Tera for taking care of us every week. See you next Tuesday. Also, if it weren’t for the manager Russ we wouldn’t have excellent quality food. Thank you Russ!

Stopped there to eat with family, my Toddler son and I both ordered a plain Hotdog, luckily his first bite he spit out the meat and only ate the bread. Only thing I ate last night… today I wake up with body chills and soreness. 5 hours later I went home early from work and laying in bed with a fever. Clear signs of food poisoning. Won’t be trying this place again.

I ordered my food to go at 6:30pm. Didn’t get my food until 40 mins later! The place wasn’t even packed. Super dead. At the most, 5 ppl. Just drinking watching the game. It’s ridiculous to have to wait 40mins for 4 dogs and fries. The cashier didn’t even tell me why it’s taking a while. Until I asked her. She said it the fryer isn’t working. But yet, she brought out hot wings, a burger and another hot dog for other people. Even the guy who ordered after me got his food first than me. I am not coming back to this location again.

Unfortunately this is my last time coming here. On all(3) occasions the service was always super slow. The waitress at the register literally ignores you until she is ready to take your order and then you… sit and sit and then finally get your food but you could of brought me my beer while I waited. She apologized and then disappears again. I literally had to leave my table, stand in line to get a beer that I paid for over 30 minutes ago??? I even left a tip prior to my food coming but nope that didn’t help things be any better. Last time eating here and I really like the food…#sorrybutnotsorry#

Extremely underwhelming. We got the El Guapo(or something similarly named) and the Angry Dave dog with a side of potato salad. Fail #1: potato salad was 100% from a grocery store. Gross, over mayo-ed and lacking flavor. Fail #2: standard hot dog buns you can buy from Ralphs. Fail #3: Chili was from a can, I’m going to say Hormel. Cheese was also from a can. I’ll say Juanitas cheese spread on this one. You can literally make this exact dog at 7 Eleven for .99 cents, not the $ 6 like it was here. Last and most important fail; Fail #4: It took 50 minutes to get our food. Yes, almost an hour for something that takes literally 2 minutes to cook and assemble. It was 2pm on a Saturday, the place was dead. One positive note, the bratwurst was good. It was also almost $ 10 for cheese that wasn’t melted and absence of promised grilled onions, but the actual sausage was delicious. The chefs here don’t take pride in their food, it’s all crap from Smart and Final. They just take it out of the bag, can or jar and slap it together then toss it in a basket. All and all, this was my first and last time here. What a shame, I was hoping this was a home run.

I passed by this place & made a U-turn because I really wanted a good hot dog; with their name I figured it would be good. I am a vegetarian & they had a veggie dog on the menu. The fries & onion rings were hot & very tasty. Unfortunately, when my veggie dog arrived the bun was cold & the hot dog was mushy. The waitress said the dogs are kept in water which explains the mushiness!!! I will not be making any more trips to The Dog House!!!

This place never fails. It’s a Monday night, super mellow, fast service and awesome food. You can pretty much get any hot dog combo you want and everything is SUPERGOOD. My dude got the Chilie Peppers dog and he is obsessed. Says its the perfect amount of spice. Enough to make your nose run, but still totally enjoy it. Needless to say, we will be coming back again and again. Thanks guys!

Have been here several times. Today, had the«Sleeping Alone» Big Dog ¼ lb. OMG! If you love garlic, kraut and pastrami, you have to try this one! Tasty explosion of garlic! Justine served us and was helpful, nice and pleasant! She also turned out to be efficient and asked if we wanted separate bills or pay together. Not many servers even think about that. Definitely coming back here and getting the Sleeping Alone” again!

Been here a few times now and will keep coming back whenever I feel like a good hot dog. So far, the bratwurst and bacon wrapped corn dog are standouts, so is the fact that they have Pabst on tap. Only better thing would be Stroh’s. Dogs are good too, but lack the«snap» you get on really high quality dogs. In LB, I would put Jerry’s dogs a step above for their hot dogs and sausages, but the Dog House has a better atmosphere with the bar, tv’s, and alcohol.

Sure it is the most unhealthy food you can get, but c’mon, who doesn’t love a hotdog? I was surprised to see a place that specializes in just hotdogs. The choices were tremendous. You can watch some sports and drink some beer too. The dogs were good but not great. Prices were reasonable as well. Service was fast and friendly.

Can we talk about how I just paused in the middle of gorging myself on my Fat Boy Fries to try to recover my account on Unilocal — only to remember that I’ve never actually signed up on Unilocal, then I panicked and created an account just to post this review. Then before I actually posted, I ate a few more bites, and a couple more just to make sure. Please stay away from here. Seriously dudes. I want to show up here every Friday night and find the front bar spots empty so I can gain 300lbs solely from their fat boy fries. Also — PBR on tap. Just FYI. Also, my bf also liked his food, a lot.

The Dog House is a place that you go to watch sports, drink beer, and hang out with your friends. It’s like a Buffalo Wild Wings or TGI Fridays that serves hot dogs instead of wings or loaded potato wedges. There are a good amount of TV’s inside and out to watch the game you care about. The outside patio even has a set up for corn hole if you are feeling that need to be active With that said, the dogs are good, nothing spectacular. They are enough to keep you munching while you watch your favorite baseball player score a goal on the 1 yard line in overtime, but not amazing enough that you forget the score of the game if your team looses. Size wise the dogs aren’t huge, but they are fair. If you’re being nit-picky, I’d say everything is about $ 1 more than you want to pay. They have a full stocked bar with slim pickings for beer on tap. I only ever see two taps with Bud and PBR, which is not bad, but not great. In summary: First go for the sports, beer, and company. Then eat a hotdog, because then you won’t mind as much at than point.

I’ve had lunch at just about every restaurant around my work place, to include the fast food joints. So, lately, I’m expanding my border and wandering into Lakewood. After all, without traffic, it’s not all that far. It’s how I ended up at The Dog House for lunch today. Awesome, affordable lunch specials starting at $ 5.99. I had the specialty sausage lunch special for $ 6.99. The combo comes with fries and a drink. No substitutions though. For example — beer for the soft drink. :-) Sausage was great — flavor and size. Lots of onions and peppers(see pic). A decent amount of fries and no charge for ranch for dipping. Service was great — server was attentive, friendly and patient. A definite sports theme as the walls are plastered with nothing but sports and it’s all that was on the TV’s on the walls and behind the bar. Yes, there’s a bar and alcohol is served. There’s also outdoor seating as well. Lots of parking as it’s in a shopping center with other shops and restaurants.
