I have been a customer of this salon for less than a year, and am so glad to have found this place through Unilocal.Stormy is my stylist, and she is awesome! She pays attention to detail and really takes her time to get the job done right. She is also very down to earth and so easy to talk to. I highly recommend her and this salon!

Have been bouncing around places to get my hair cut, desperately trying to find one that just does a good job. I think I finally found my place! ⁹⁄₁₀ haircuts you get, you look at yourself after they have finished, you look great… go home and look in your mirror and say «what was I thinking? This is awful!»
I kept looking in the mirror after the cut and never had that experience. Brianna did a great job with my hair which was approaching mountain man status length and the entire haircut probably took 20 minutes.
Strongly recommend a visit for a men’s haircut, I know I will be back.

Love this salon. I go to Nicolette who is just wonderful. She is so sweet and funny, and she really listens to your ideas. She does an awesome job and is always on time with her scheduling. Highly recommend her!

Found this place here in Unilocal and decided to give it a try since it has very good reviews and it’s close to where I live. I was not dissapointed at all and loved it so far. Christa did a great job with my hair color and haircut. You can really see the quality on what they do. She listened to what I wanted and gave a few suggestions as well. I will definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone living in this side of the town.

I feel like I hit jackpot! Christa did a phenomenal job in my partial highlight and haircut. It’s always a little nerve racking trying a new stylist, but it was time to find a place closer to home. It was too hard to find the time to drive and fight all the traffic in the Wash Park area. Christa knows what she’s doing and does it really well.

Great reviews won’t lead you astray. I have very short hair that I’m trying to grow out, and was in town visiting family after being about three weeks behind in getting a haircut. Since I knew I’d have the time, I booked an appointment with Valerie, based on the reviews. Everyone was professional and nice — great service. Valerie did a great job and gave me exactly the haircut I needed/​wanted. Very glad I found US and got my hair cleaned up. Thank you!

I would recommend Union Salon to anyone! I used to live in Chicago where the salon’s were high-​end and expensive. When I moved to Colorado I had no idea where to go and didn’t have any friends to help me decide. Fortunately Unilocal suggested Union Salon and I have never looked back! The atmosphere is comfortable and classy. I have listened and observed every single stylist and their interactions with their clients, with each other and with all who walked through the door. Very impressive, very sincere and always friendly. I am looking forward to the using the new skin care part of the salon! Keep up the great work!

I really like this salon! Everyone is really friendly and does an awesome job. I’ve been with Sandy, Christa and Valyry; they are all amazing at what they do. Valyry in particular who is new to the salon, really did a phenomenal job with the color when I went in there today. It was exactly what I wanted and couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend this place!

I live up the street from this place, and instead of driving across town to the shop that my old hair stylist moved to, I decided to make an appointment here. My first impression of the salon was great, it is decorated well and the staff was so friendly.
I saw Valyry for a hair cut, from medium length hair to a bob — and I am beyond impressed with my cut. She listened to everything I asked for, even listened to how I typically style my hair and took that into consideration for the cut. I can’t tell you how many times a stylist ignored the fact that I like my hair flat and instead made it poofy and full of volume because that’s what THEY like. Well, Valyry was fabulous, friendly, and I couldn’t be happier.
Yeah, it’s kind of on the high end of hair services (I paid $ 50 for a hair cut & a cup of coffee) but I will definitely be returning.

I just moved to the neighborhood and after reading Unilocal reviews, I decided on this salon with their new-​to-​town stylist, Stormy. I’m so pleased with my decision! She asked good questions to get an understanding of what I wanted. She was respectful, professional, knowledgable, and friendly. She did an amazing job with my hair, both with the cut and style. She even made some great self-​care suggestions, shedding light on aspects that no other stylist has ever taken the time to explain to me. I’m almost hesitant to reveal just how good she is because it’s only a matter of time until all of Lakewood is competing for a place on her seat. The salon itself was clean and tidy with a good ambience, and the staff was friendly too. I will be back again and again!

Great salon– genuine gals that know their stuff. My fav is Jennifer– perfect color every time. Also she’s the one to see if you have curly/​unruly hair. I get mine straightened and she always makes it look great.

I just returned from my very first visit to Union Salon. I had been going to another salon for almost 5 years, and was very frustrated at the consistently poor service I was getting. I definitely had enjoyed my last stylist, but she obviously had her mind on other things besides hair and it definitely showed. I definitely needed a color correction.
I booked my first appointment with Sandy, who I understand is a part owner. When I first came into the salon, I noted that the energy level was very pleasant, not frantic. All of the stylists were smiling, and I noted that the hair styles they were working on were very nice and their clients had big smiles. All of the employees that I came in contact with were very friendly, helpful, and eager to make my first visit a pleasant one. The salon itself was clean and very up to date.
Sandy listened very attentively while I told her what my frustration was. Needless to say, the outcome was so much better than I expected. She fixed the problem with my haircolor, gave me a suggestion of what products to use, and finished up with a really nice blowout. I couldn’t be more pleased and will definitely be back. Went in today, having never been in before. I was greeted immediately, offered a beverage and never had to sit down. Nicolette was my stylist and she did a great job. She asked me plenty of questions on how I style my hair (low maintenance working mom here), didn’t chat too much (haircuts are a moment of quiet for me, I like it that way) and had me in and out in 35 minutes over my lunchtime. Perfect. I haven’t styled myself yet, didn’t do color, etc, so that’s why I didn’t go with a full 5 stars.
Bonus? You can book appointments online. I love that for the fact that often, my 5 minutes to take care of something like making an appointment happens at 5am or 9pm. I’ll be back!

I’m so happy to have found Rosalie! I’ve been getting my eyebrows waxed by her for the past 8 months, and it’s been a positive experience. I always feel more relaxed after getting my brows done, and she does a consistently good job every time. Rosalie is really personable and always makes you feel comfortable. The other staff I have interacted with have always been great too! The price is totally reasonable for the great service provided, and I’m happy to tip on top of it because it’s a good environment. I also love that I can book appointments online. She’s only in a couple of days a week, but it’s worth it to book out ahead of time and work it into my schedule. I haven’t had my hair done here, but I can recommend the waxing services whole heartedly.

Another five star
First of all really beautiful salon, very nice staff. I was greeted immediately and provided tea. I was a little apprehensive trying a new salon as many of us are very protective over our hair. Also I have a really light blonde color and it is definitely hard to find someone that knows how work with that. I had an appointment with stormy who not only took care of ALL my roots but gave my hair that healthy feeling and gave me products that work magic on my hair. What usually takes hours and hours at other salons only took a couple at Union. I could not stop raving how she had gotten my hair to lift and feel like that. I can FINALLY say I have found the right salon.

I feel so lucky to have found Christa because she is a great colorist/​stylist. I was nervous to make a change from another salon but this was most certainly a good move for me! I love my color and my cut. Christa made me feel comfortable right away which I appreciated. I’m so excited how close the salon is to my home too! I scheduled my next 3 appointments.

Stormy does an amazing job! I had always went to salon to salon to salon and so on and so on and so on and no one can seem to get it right. Then I found the one they call Stormy. OMGAWD!!! Could this be… The search for my perfect haircut. I think so!!! A+ all around. I’ll BE BACK!!!

Went to Lucinda for the first time because we could not get into our regular person and my daughter a has a pixie cut and she butchered it. It looks nothing like the photo and the front is a ¼ in short and sticks out like when she cut her hair when she was 2. Never again!

Came here to get my hair cut and colored by Stormy, she’s new to the salon but has plenty of experience. I don’t color my hair often so I really relied on her to make some color choices for the highlights in my hair. She did a great job! I’m super pleased with how it turned out. She’s kind and attentive, everything you’d want in a hairdresser.
Overall this place was busy but I was offered water and I was able to pay right as I was about to leave. I’ve been looking for a regular place to get my hair done and I think I’ve found it!

I had a gift certificate I won for a cut and full color. I was super nervous about it, because I’m really weary about who I let near my hair with scissors.
My appointment was with Carl, and let me tell you, boy was I impressed! First off I LOVED my cut. He listened to everything I said, took what I said I liked, my hair type and my lifestyle into account and gave me an amazing simple layered cut. But I was super impressed with the color. I pride myself in doing color myself at home, and mixing up some really nice creations. When I went to see him I was sporting an ION 4IR (Medium Intense Red permanent) that I had mixed with Pravana Violet/​Purple (also Permanent). Then after it had dried the next day I layer on ION Fuchsia (Demi-​Perm). When I stopped into to see Carl I had about 3 inch roots, told him what I do to get my color, and he said he could match it. He was right! It was exactly like my hair color. He’s a color genius!
Parking was a little strange or getting into the lot was awkward.
But I am thinking of leaving my currently salon, and maybe going to see Carl again!
I really couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!
