Espino’s Pizza Pastas & Subs

This is pretty much the best pizza and pasta in the city. Not only is the food delicious but the service is exceptional. I ordered pizza, fries and penne vodka for delivery without realizing it had meat in it. It wasn’t mentioned on the menu and when I got it I was upset. I called back and they immediately delivered another one in the middle of the snow storm, free of charge! The food was delicious and the prices were great. Can’t wait to get food from here again!

We all wanted different types of food: pizza, burger, sandwich. Espino’s covered us all. Giant slice that offspring enjoyed. Spousal unit had a burger/​fries. Good but not a rave. I had the Cuban. Huge size. Huge flavor. Will return for another.
Staff very attentive, warm and welcoming.
Small place, but off the beaten path, so it works.

I went to Espino’s after reading the Unilocal reviews and I was not disappointed, They have the best pizza crust I ever had. The chicken parm was on the money and the best thing of all I was also able to get pernil with rice and beans in a pizzeria and it was insanely good. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and courteous. I only get down to Lancaster 2 times a year and I will definitely make sure I visit Espino’s every time I get down there in the future

5 stars for food and value and service. we had pizza, which was very good. but the grilled chicken and ribs were fantastic. some of the best tasting food ever. restaurant is kind of afterthought seating as it’s really a takeout type place, but food is great!

Great food and wonderful service. Don’t be turned off because it is a little hole in the wall. We had the chicken and rib dinners with tostones. The ribs were flavorful and falling off the bone. The chicken was very moist and wonderfully seasoned. The dinners also came with a very fresh tossed salad. The young teen with us had a pepperoni pizza. It was great, too. The sauce was delicious.

This pizza was sooooooo good. Thank God because the last place we went was garbage and I was losing faith in Lancaster county pizza.

It’s a family business and everyone working there is great.
They cook the pizza exactly how you like it, extra crispy or extra soft, depending on what you prefer.

The 3 of us took penne vodka, white pizza and Greek salad. It was soooo good! Everything was fresh and made with ingredients of quality. I have to admit; I wasn’t expecting such a good meal when entering this little tiny place. I’d definitely come back!

Owner has a lot of pride with his food. Pizza was excellent. Fresh slices! Real Cheese. Great prices. Garlic knots were tasty.

We have ordered from them many times — and although the food is ok, of the 10+ times we have called for a delivery, not one person can make ordering on the phone easy. A few days ago, the guy who answered the phone, said «Espino’s» wrong on his first four tries. He then did not not know what a calzone was, and handed the phone to someone else, who took our order and went to hang up until we asked if they wanted payment and the delivery address. Over time, the pizza and the calzones have gotten smaller — and not worth the $ they charge.

The best white pizza in this city!!! A tad pricy and there isn’t a grilled chicken option for pizza but total Aces in my book. Only place we ordered pizza anymore.

Really excellent pizza, friendly service, nice long hours — in fact these guys have been open holidays when you find few other businesses in town open. They may have been tossing back beers since the night before & eating anchovies straight out of the can, but they’re open. My only detraction would be to say if you are calling ahead for take out, leave them at least 30 minutes to make your pizza. I’ve been told 10 – 15 minutes many times and it’s never taken less than 30. I like the place but I don’t particularly want to hang out waiting.

Don’t let the look fool you. This place, from the outside, looks like a neighborhood pizza spot that you only call after a few beers and you don’t feel like going anywhere. However, their pizza is out of control good. The family atmosphere from inside shines, you can tell they actually care about the quality of the food more then they care about how much money goes into the register. Great place, every time I’m in lancaster this is my jawn.

This review is for delivery for pizza. So I’ve ordered from here two times now and both times have been really happy with the pizza. I can’t comment on the other items on the menu (pasta, subs, calzones ect). I also can’t comment on the service or the atmosphere of the restaurant as I have only ordered delivery. But if you want pizza it’s a great choice in the Lancaster area.
It’s reasonably priced ($ 17 for a larger) and it’s not the greasy icky delivery pizza can sometimes be. The veggie pizza is great– with olives, onions. peppers, mushrooms. I’ve also ordered the chicken pizza (just fyi it’s like crispy chicken not grilled, it’s not clarified on their menu WHAT exactly is the chicken pizza) and I know my other friends really liked that one.
Plus another reason Espino’s is bomb diggity is because they deliver and are open late! Definitely a a great choice if you are up late with friends, don’t want to make anything, or after coming home from the bars and wanting a bite to eat.
Both times I’ve ordered the ’16 inch and that was enough for like 3 people with a slice or two leftover.

The first thing that you notice when you walk through the door is the graciousness of the owner, and his nephew. Secondly, the food is very good. I’ve had occasion to eat here several times. No complaints from me… only compliments. Also, note that the owner will accommodate you in any way you ask regarding your food preparation. Don’t pass up this place. Its been many different restaurants since I’ve lived here. This place, by far, beats all the others!!! :-) Congratulations you guys! Keep up the good work.
