These guys are true specialists and as honest as can be. I came in with an SUV that had 250,000 miles on the original transmission (never had service either). They were in a perfect position to sell me service I didn t need. Instead they dropped the pan and made a minor correction and had me going again in 1 hour… cheap too. I ll never go anywhere else for my transmission work.

Worth the drive.
I live in Oak Lawn and my tranny was clunking and starting to not shift right. I took it to a couple local guys and they wanted $ 2500 to get started.
When I called Donny he explained how the tranny worked. Diagnosed the problem. Explained what he thought it was, etc. He told me what the basic price would be — which was about $ 1000 cheaper than my local guys — and also that if there was metal in the transmission when they opened it up, that there would be other charges.
His openness and time to explain everything was enough for me to make the drive — it’s about 20 minutes down the highway.
He was great. Getting the parts he needed for my 15 year old volvo took a little bit longer than expected but, they pushed it out in a couple days.
It’s been a few months now. My tranny is quiet and smooth and I am not worried about getting stuck anywhere.
I am also about $ 1,000 richer for that 20 minute drive :-)
