Overall, this was a fun experience with friends but be aware of the prices to paint pottery. You have to add prices to get your total cost and I wasn’t aware of that. My daughters and I painted 2 picture frames and a small owl and it was $ 75.00 and I was surprised. It is a fun spot and its in a great location though. The only thing that turned me off was the pricing.

I love this place. I can sit in this store for hours without thinking about other things. We drove 2 hours from DC to this store, for all the beautiful things here. Wish we had a store like this is DC:) The shop owner is very nice. She shipped our mugs to DC, wrapped them very well.

If Unilocal allowed me to give them no stars, I would! DONOTWASTEYOURTIMEATTHISPLACE! They shipped our pottery all BROKEN without considering the number of hardship laborious hours spent at their studio! They taped and glued BROKEN pieces together and shipped our pottery to our door thinking everything is fine. The Owner and the Employees here have no INTEGRITY at all! They don’t care! They just want your MONEY! They should of given a courtesy call to us of what had happened to our pottery and offered a refund but they DIDN’T.(It would’ve been better if they called and gave us a heads up). Furiously, we had to call them and they only refunded a very SMALL amount to us considering the pieces are broken and cannot be used. To satisfy a discontent customer, they should have refunded all the broken pieces but this place DIDNOT! They ignored that request. DOYOURSELF A FAVOR, DON’T WASTEYOURTIME&MONEYHERE!!!

We did this as a date night just to mix it up & had a great time. Wide selection of pieces to pick from to paint, staff helpful & friendly. Will go back soon with the kids… it’s a fun place to go

The perfect place for anyone who enjoys a creative, hands-on activity, especially if it’s raining. The studio has large tables for groups and small tables on the side for couples. The shop is clean, organized and roomy. They have quite a selection of pottery to choose from and lots of cool paints and glazes. They also offer to ship your finished project to you(after it’s fired in the kiln) a week later for $ 5/one piece, $ 6−7/ 2 pieces. And they’re open on Sundays, as opposed to many other attractions in the area. The paint is washable. They also have a jewelry-making shop in the other half of the store. I didn’t actually go into it, but I could see it was huge and had beads in every color. If we ever go to Lancaser again, I would for sure stop into Pottery Works again.
