BEWARE BEWARE. I replaced all the sod in my yard with «Bitter Blue» at a large $$$$. Once the new grass had taken hold, was breathtaking beautiful, I consulted with George @ Lawn Detectives to formulate ongoing maintenance. He told me to first have the grass cut. George said «I work with 2 men, call this one because he is not busy and I don’t want the grass to get longer» of course I called his colleague who showed up the next day and mowed. While my lawn had its first cut I was in NC. My neighbor called concerned saying that my beautiful green lawn looked fried. I called George to relay problem and he gave me a second phone # and name asked me to call him. I did and when he arrived @ my house said my lawn had been SCALPED. George apologized profusely and said he would fix it. A few months pass, I’m in NC all quite from George. Then I received a letter from homeowners assoc w/​pics of dead grass (entire front yard) that was scalped said I need to repair or will be fined. Called George, of course now he won’t take responsibility HOWEVER, before they fried my lawn they posted all the beautiful pics on their brag FACEBOOK. My experience is when things go well he’s all big talk, when he makes a mistake gets ugly, blames others, points the finger. Hey George-​turn the finger around and point it at yourself.
