Taormina’s Pizzeria & Restaurant

Was really excited to see this place open again as it unexpectedly closed without notice. We loved going and ordering from the previous location. The food was excellent. Definitely homemade. So when the new location open we were excited. However, this excitement came to a quick halt.
We came on a Friday after waiting 40min for a table (please not the crowd did not justify the wait). We finally arrived at our table, and quickly greeted by our server. We placed our food order which consisted of three sandwiches and one personal pizza. 35min later, I asked the waitress the status of our food. She said «I’m sorry, not sure what’s going on in the kitchen, should be any minute now». After waiting nearly an hour at my table, my food still did not come. With two hungry children, I did not have the luxury to play the guessing game. Not sure why 3 sandwiches and a small personal pizza would take an hour and a half to prepare. We had no choice but to leave. Must be new ownership…
Definitely will not be coming back nor will recommend!!!

Taormina’s has the best pizza around and they offer a reasonable price. If you are ordering on a Friday night for take out give them a little more time than they say. But otherwise any other time we’ve ordered take out the food has been ready in the said time and the food was just wonderful. We’ve tried their pizza, calzones, strombolis and cheese fries.

Taormina’s is a very good place to get a family dinner. The menu is a very generic but has is pros and cons.
Their pizza is very good and they appear to have many selection. We look forward to trying the different selections. The only negative so far was that the vegetarian grinder was a bit underprepared. But on that order, that night, they were shorthanded.
The pricing is fair and the service staff is very friendly. They make your visit, enjoyable!
Worth this visit and worth a try.
