Every time we go to the Chicago area we have to get food from here! It is always so good and fresh. Definitely a great place to stop! Eat in or take out.

I called to order lunch for my boyfriend, who works right down the street from this place. Very polite over the phone, the delivery driver waited until he was able to physically make it to the front desk to get the food, they were quick.
However, the food was nothing more than mediocre (chicken lo mein lunch special) and there was no sauce included with the crab rangoons. Will most likely not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Had ham egg foo young and shrimp fried rice. The rice was good. Plenty of little dirty shrimp. The egg foo young was good, the heavy it was in was disgusting. Too sweet!!! Gravy should be savory, not sweet. Hate the Chinese spots that do this.

I usually have a good experience ordering from this restaurant until tonight when I began to eat my take out meal it tasted funny. I soon found out why it tasted that way I found a cigarette butt in my food. That only means the cooks smoke over the food as they’re cooking. I immediately called the restaurant and voiced my concern, it’s funny how some people understand you when you’re trying to give them money but don’t seem to understand when you have a complaint. I was told to bring back the food the next business day for a refund. I’ll see how that goes but I took pictures of my meal and will be forwarding to the Illinois Department of health for follow up. I never patronize them ever again. Good luck to you who eats they’re food.

Second time in there, the waitress I had was very helpful and informative. I took her suggestions and everything was delicious.

This was some of the better Chinese food that I’ve had in a long time. All the standard Chinese fare but prepared with some unique flavors.
Veggie egg rolls were amazing. Super frssh and crisp. .with lots of flavor.
Dinners are large enough for two people to share making this a reasonablly priced dinner option.

I have lived in the area for over a decade and never ate in this establishment. Tried it a couple weeks ago for the first time and have returned at least 4 times since then.
The food is consistently good and fresh. The lunch deals are numerous and the portions are large. The egg rolls are some of the best I’ve ever had. Based on a Unilocal review, I tried the salt and pepper shrimp… AMAZING!!! It is an indescribable burst of flavors with a hint of spiciness. Love this place.
Be sure to pay attention when they repeat your order. Have an understanding.

This is my go to place for work lunch. You get a huge portion, with an egg roll and tea. There has not been a single meal I have not liked there and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They are also very fast if you want them to be. You can get your meal in less than 5 min.
Extra Tip: The Hot and Sour soup is delicious. Its a little different then the traditional preparation. A little darker and definitely spicy with lots of Tofu,

quite tasty; love their version of «hot sauce»…learned that they served soda pop when meal was almost finished

I go to this place about once a week with my work fam because it’s one of the only options in the Southside food desert where my office is located. Anyway, these folks are awesome when it comes to service! Love you Mae and Tina! I haven’t had a bad meal here, but most of the stuff is standard Chinese food, and it is quality. I wouldn’t say that there are many over the top, exceptional dishes as a whole, but… and this is a big but! HAHA! They have a dish called Salt and Pepper Jumbo Shrimp that is far and away the best dish I’ve ever had at a (American) Chinese restaurant. If you like shrimp, you gotta have this! It’s incredible. I really can’t explain it any other way.
I do have one warning though… This place is a hole in the wall so if you’re into everything being über sterile, and you feel the need to bust out the white gloves, and blacklights to feel comfortable, you should probably stay away. I’m not necessarily saying it’s dirty and/​or unsanitary there or anything, but it’s an older spot, and not much for décor or ambiance. Also, for some reason, it smells like play-​dough up in there. Bizarre. Nonetheless, none of that takes away from the food, especially those skrimps!

Food is great! Super fresh and high quality meats and veggies. Atmosphere is not so great, however it is super quiet if that’s what you’re looking for. Good service. Definitely come in or order delivery if you want good and reasonably priced chinese in the area.

Great place for lunch… the lunch specials are under $ 10 and the portions are large and include an egg roll and fried rice. Cool boat plates… from China!!!

I’ve been coming here for years and they are consistently wonderful. The lunch specials are amazing. For $ 7 you get a ton of food and the list of entrees is quite extensive. Their business is largely take-​out, so the inside is rarely crowded and the servers are very attentive. The food is top notch.

Let me start off by saying that we drive from another state for takeout here all the time… okay so its just Indiana, but seriously, its that good! Decided to dine in last night with the family and the service was superb. Ordered the meal for two and it fed my entire family of five (two adults, three kids). Love their orange chicken and the hot and sour soup is the best I ever had!

Had take out for a party. Egg rolls were some of the best I have had. Singapore chow mei was good, mongolian beef was chock full of curry, chicken with peapods had great flavor. Hope to have the opportunity to dine in.
