Love the sister place in Pleasantville. Formerly Palamino, there’s a new chef and the food is excellent. We sat at the bar, but the manager was super friendly as was the bartender and hostess. We had a radicchio salad with goat cheese, very light, with crunchy lettuce complementing the sprinkling of creamy cheese. We split the scallops, seared to a nutmeg brown but perfectly cooed. It was served with an avocado, tomato and orange salsa. Lime juice gave it a bright note. This place looks the same as Palamino, but the food is greatly improved. They have 3 kinds of sangria, red, white and blood orange. Yum!

I think this place has good menu and pretty good sangrias. I had great experience on Mothers Day and I will be taking my husband there for Fathers Day this year. Service can be slow sometimes but I just get more of those sangrias as I wait:-). Was there last night again to just check out their mid week crowd and it was busy. We had dinner with just appetizers and good was good.

Excellent food with an eclectic menu designed to please all. After an excellent sashimi appetizer, I had a crusted salmon perfectly cooked medium rare as per my request. The cauliflower/potato purée was delicious. Last but not least was the chocolate flourless cake which was truly chocolatey – a delight for hard-core chocolate lovers. The service was excellent and friendly. Finally, it was not noisy and you can talk! Iron Horse is a welcome addition to Larchmont’s dining scene! A.G.P.

I won’t go back, not because of the food which was fine although they ran out of tuna and the scallop starter was 2 tiny tiny scallops for $ 15 which was ridiculous. But the service was the worst I have experienced in a long time. We waited over an hour after ordering for our food. We didn’t receive bread after requesting it, we had to get our own wine menu from the hostess stand and the waiter actively avoided our table given the wait as he clearly didn’t want to deal with it. We had to talk to the manager in the end after multiple times asking when the food would arrive. There are FAR better restaurants with better service in Westchester for the price $ 160 for two of us. Spend your money elsewhere is my advice.

I’ve come here twice since Palomino’s has become Iron Horse. Before the switch, I’d been to Palomino’s a number of times with no complaints. I have to say the new menu items are amazing. My recommendation is Truffle Mac n Cheese to start and the Chicken Scarpariello for entrée. The service from seating, to the wait staff, to management was nothing short of professional.(Has me wondering where the heck this first review even ate at). In all my times here I’ve been treated like royalty, and trust me, I’m just a regular patron. Highly recommend the new, revamped menu!

Had a great dinner at the«New Iron Horse« Was surprised to hear about the changes from former Palomino Restaurant… The whole meal from start to finish let me wanting more… after hearing specials and taking appetizers suggestions from our server, we ordered the guacamole and kale salad… Just perfect for sharing. absolutely delicious. Then came dinner!!! A perfect blend of flavors with my Salmon papillote, my friend had the chicken scarpariello… So juicy. Tender, flavorful. just perfectly cooked… Can’t wait to go back, the Manager was very polite and professional… What a great place!!! Highly recommend.
