Fast pick up/shuttle to and from Airport. Hotel for the most part was clean and nice. Rooms are large and decent size. Bedding was odd, mattress cover on top tucked into a wierd sheet. maybe they are used stuff happening in Laredo thst we aren’t used to anywhere else… my towel rods in room were hanging by old hot glue. Room service was hit or miss. Skipped cleaning the room a few times over my 9 day stay here. Never seemed to replace the coffee that was drank in the room. Food in morning was decent, eggs usually too watery and mixed with mystery meat, everything else was ok. They tap a keg for a bit during the early evening and offer light eats, nothing spectacular but who cares? Free beer. wine, too. Big ass’d hotel, only 1 washer and only 1 dryer. Pay to use. They have an iron and board in the room. Location is excellent. Pool, grills, small TV mounted in lobby. They have a partnership with Golds gym, both locations took my pass, no cost. The Golds San Isidro location is the one to go to. Staff was nice, seemed to care.

1st night here. Nice, clean place. Only complaint so far is that the food at the evening«social» was of poor quality and not warm enough. Room temperature meatless spaghetti.

I stayed in Homewood Suites during March 9 — March 13, 2015. During this time the hotel was undergoing construction in their lobby. The reviews of the hotel previously note that the hotel has a relationship with Gold’s Gym, and therefore patrons of the hotel can work out there. However, while I stayed at this hotel the staff never mentioned this to me which was an issue because the fitness center onsite was under construction as well. I did not find out about Gold’s Gym until I checked out. I did mention this issue on Twitter to @homewoodsuites, and they took the issue seriously by giving me extra HHonors points. I consider the issue to be resolved, but in the future I do hope that the staff is more observant of the needs of their customers. The room itself was nice. It had all the basic amenities that I love about Homewood Suites. The breakfast and dinner were the normal fare and satisfactory. Other than the hotel being under construction I am sure that it is usually a nice place to stay. However, there is an Embassy Suites across in the same parking lot, and while the hotel is still under construction that is probably where I would have preferred to have stayed. If you are hungry in Laredo — check out Taco Palenque and La Carreta Carnes Asadas on San Bernardo Ave because both of these places were delicious and close to Homewood Suites.

First time in Laredo. Stayed overnight. The room was nice, clean and large. The staff was so nice. Picked me up at the airport. I asked about restaurants close by(non were opened). The driver offered to take me to a restaurant near the hotel. Wow, this is an unusual experience… people being nice. LOL. Breakfast was also good. Sat outside and ate breakfast. Nice, peaceful, clean and comfortable temperature outside. Have already requested a return visit.

Practically lived there for a year while working in Southwest Texas. Staff is amazing from the GM down to housekeeping. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home.

Spent several weeks here while helping out the office in Laredo. The manager, Adrian Perez, made it a point to get to know and cater to the needs of all of his extended stay clients. I can’t say enough good things about him. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable with a nice out door pool and spa. There is a patio area and gas BBQ grill as well as a basketball/volley ball court. The work out room is about average for what you find in a hotel but, there is an arrangement with the Gold’s Gym on McPherson Road that allows guest to use that very nice facility. I stayed in several other hotels in Laredo(including the one next door to the Homewood Suites). If you are going to be there for more than two weeks, this is the place to stay.

This place fills up fast, as you’d expect from any extended stay hotel in Laredo. The dinner is average for a Homewood, pool an basketball court are legit, but there’s a pretty rank smell outside the front entrance. On a brighter note, the place has a connection with the local Gold’s Gym so any paid guest can workout for free.
