7th Annual Lee’s Beer & Tequila Experience

This is based on the 7^th Annual event, which was a good time.
It says Beer & Tequila Experience, and it certainly had that, but I also sampled rum, vodka, margaritas, gin, and a number of sake and sake based drinks Seems like most nationally know craft beer vendors were there, most of the big domestics, and lots of little regionals.
For the size if it, I was impressed how few «lines» there were. Rarely do you have to wait for more than a few people ahead of you. If anything the only thing holding up getting a pour was the vendors discussing their beverages with the person they’re pouring for, and that’s to be expected.
It was a great way to try some things I’d seen in stores but didn’t want to risk popping money on something that might be terrible.
Free bottles of iced water were certainly welcome. There was one food stand you could buy food at, but nothing special, sandwiches and such. And having that many people in one place, it never got too hot or stifling warm, and it was remarkably nearly smoke free. I didn’t see non-​smoking signs, but if there were then «THANK YOU!»
If had paid the $ 50 or $ 60 to get in, I may have been slightly disappointed, but a few weeks before I bought a Groupon for $ 24.99, and the event was more than worth that. Easy peasy getting in too. They had somebody specifically checking in Grouponers, and I didn’t even have to print out my ticket, just showed her my ticket on my phone’s Groupon app.
