I was going down the stairs and the stairs broke therefore I fell forward and injured myself. After taking my case and sending me to the doctor for over a year I called all the time and they just kept saying they were waiting on their case manager and to continue follow-​up and shots from the doctors I was sent to. After a year I finally got a letter saying that they weren’t going to take the case and now I am stuffed with over a year of doctor bills that are unpayable in my current condition. Thanks Adam I’ll be sure to spread the word.

Recent events have caused me to reconsider my initial review. Adam and his team have made good on some promises to rectify my concerns. They have strived to make things right. I am indeed appreciative of their effort and diligence. However, I wish this sincere attention and effort would have appeared earlier in my case.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Adam S. Kutner’s law offices and his staff. They went above and beyond the call of duty to get my case settled.

Oh my gosh… Mr. Kutner Contacted me after seeing this review online. He was so upset over the review and the service I received! He couldn’t believe it when he read it.
He called me and asked me if I would mind going over the scenario so he could find out what happened and correct it immediately.
I explained everything to Mr. Kutner and Ciara Contreras, the Asst. General Manager and they were unaware of what was happening and since have made personnel changes within the office staff.
I understand as I have also owned many businesses in the past and sometimes some of what the staff does gets past you.
I was very grateful that they cared enough to contact me and made the appropriate changes.
They assured me that their clients are of their utmost concern and apologized for taking so long to even see the post let alone take care of it.
I will certainly give them another opportunity if I ever have legal issues again.
They proved to be caring and professional!
*One thing to remember is if you don’t tell a business or report to them problems or concerns, you can’t expect them to fix them.

This guy is a joke and don’t care about you. More than a year and my car is still not fixed. Don’t waste your time with this firm. Read the reviews here and learn.

Is it possible to give –5 stars? Because this place doesn’t deserve a single star whatsoever! Very unproffesional and the lack of communication is unbelievable! long story short we got into a car accident, they were very attentive and seemed very helpful when taking your case but then after that is a different story. It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach these people and no single update was given to us regarding our case and what the next step should be. We called what felt like every hour of the day, yet still no answer nor a call back! Finally a miracle took place and someone finally answered just to tell us that they weren’t going to represent our case. Seriously?!! No one had two minutes to spare to let us know that?!! They just wasted our time and our energy and pretty much gave us false hopes about our case! Now we switched to a smaller law firm and their service is OUTSTANDING! Im kind of happy Kutner didn’t represent our case because who knows where will our case be today if it were these people handling it! This place is a JOKE! Trust the Unilocal REVIEWS THEY ARE NOT LYING! OUR BIGGEST MISTAKE FOR NOT TRUSTING UnilocalERS IN THE FIRST PLACE!

Used this law firm after my truck was totaled in an accident. Never saw Adam Kutner during the whole ordeal and only dealt with his staff. They kept me in the dark during the whole process. During the process, I felt like I was a nuisance when I called to inquire about the status of my case. Very unprofessional and sorry that I used their services. Avoid this law firm at all cost!

dont go to this place, dont waste your time, i went for a car accident, an old fart hit me when i was in the parking lot without seat belt, so i went to retaphy and alsio they gave me the doctor phone number that never answer, the other insurance inly gave me 200 dls, later on he droped my case and i have to pay $ 4,000 to the chiropractor, they was extremely rude my car in repairs is more than $ 5,000

they are very unprofessional… and they don’t do anything they say what they will do… that office is full of people that don’t know what they are doing… I trusted my mother by going to him… and I didn’t get nothing done and other then bills and nobody back… Oooooand I never return your phone calls back …they are not worth your time

I agree too, he screwed us and is impossible to get ahold of once you sign the papers. We had to threaten him with another lawyer just to get a return phone call so he transfered our case to a partner lawyer. The legal aids also don’t have a clue what they are doing.

I find your business practices deceptive, dishonorable, repugnant and fraudulent. I have received the most terrible and incompetent service imaginable from your firm, and ultimately, upon attempting to make the final disbursement, I have prima facie evidence that your firm employed deceptive and deliberate tactics to defraud me. From the moment your representative came to my house, I have been lied to, and fed a continuous supply of misinformation, and treated with complete disregard and apathy. I signed an agreement and negotiated a fee of 25% for an out of court settlement. I was told by this representative that I «need not negotiate the other 40% fee because nobody ever goes to court» and the 25% fee is the only one I needed to worry about. After signing, I was assured that I’d get a copy of that agreement immediately. I never did. I have addressed the substandard medical care and the complicity of Adam Kutner and associates.
Let’s fast forward to Fasset & Cardoza (Victor Cardoza Esq. to be more specific). I have to credit Victor with at least communicating with me on a semi-​reliable basis, except for after my refusal to sign the disbursal (where it’s clear your firm deliberately wanted to let me cool my heels and see how many times I’d call to make an assessment as to how desperate I am to get the money and determine how strong your negotiating position is exactly). Aside from that, Victor has presented me with an offer for $ 56,000.00 which he counseled me would be a reasonable offer and reasonably expected me to agree to, and would have happily allowed me to do so. I had to reiterate myself as it seems nobody had heard me from early on in my case. Once I began to understand the seriousness of my injury, nothing less than $ 100,000.00 would make me whole.
The most deceitful and morally reprehensible thing you’ve done is add insult to injury (literally) in regards to the final disbursement.
On March 10, 2008, upon meeting with Mr. Cardoza, he assured me that there are no more options and all the money possible has been squeezed out of the insurance company and the doctors. He explained that it’s not in my interest to go after the additional $ 10,000.00 of the $ 100,000.00 policy limit (though now I must question that as it is clear that the interests of your law firm are ahead of the interests of your clients). I asked him directly if there is any more money to be reduced on the liens. He told me «that’s it» and I’d just be negotiating with him to reduce the attorney’s fees (which after further consideration shall be 25% period as this was an out of court settlement and he did not have to go to court). Mr. Cardoza said «Ok I“ll be taking 28%» and I agreed for him to take 28.22% to bring my net settlement to $ 45,000. Mr. Cardoza then said my check would be ready next week.
03÷31÷09 (not the one week as Victor stated, Cora to find out the status, and she informed me my check was ready. I made an appointment to come in at 2:00 pm. Once I got there, she presented me with a disbursal statement different from the one I signed on 03/​10/​2009. There had been reductions on 4 of the 6 medical bills for an additional reduction of $ 5,294.25. That would have been great if I had been notified of it and the amount had been appropriated equitably, but in a deceitful, deceptive and fraudulent manner, the amount had been credited deliberately to the attorney legal fees which effectively brought the legal fees to 30.54% (a difference of 2.32%). In addition to that, my legal fees have gone up to $ 1,111.74 from $ 256.74 (a difference of $ 855.00). I was clearly and deliberately presented with this disbursal with the hopes that I wouldn’t notice and sign off and be on my way with my paltry $ 45,000.00 check. Or perhaps I would notice, be too exhausted by the whole process to raise and objection, or I’d be in too much of a desperate situation to raise an objection and wait to resolve the discrepancy. This is probably no surprise, as this is likely a common practice for your firm.
When I asked if I’m obligated to sign the disbursal, Cora said «no». I asked her what happens next, and it seems that her canned response was «Well the attorney will probably go to court and file a motion to enforce, then he’ll get the entire 40%». I’m not intimidated by this, and I’m positive your ethics committee would not look kindly upon your intimidation practice. Your actions and this final attempt to deceive and manipulate me is prima facie evidence of that departure from the principle of fiduciary duty and in my opinion, represents a clear case of fraud. You are the quintessential shady lawyers and it’s shameful that I’ll need an attorney cause I’ve had you as my attorney. I hope that enough people see this and you lose more than you’ve swindled me for. You are a running a den of thieves!
