Terrible terrible terrible. Went in January to tan for a month, only wanted a month. Explained this to the girl who signed me up and she said that wouldn’t be an issues and it would cancel on its own and she noted my account. Fast forward to April 25th and I check my credit cards and have been charged the last 3 months even though I haven’t been there once in that time. I call up to resolve it and they tell me there’s nothing they can do I signed a contract and I was pretty much shit out of luck, even though one of their employees told me something else. Not willing to work with me on anything and still forced me to send a email to cancel my membership lol. Maybe as a courtesy to your customers that haven’t been there in months you could give them some kind of notice or reminder instead of being the thieving business that you are.

Where do I start first off, I went to the 215/Eastern location where I usually have no issues. Their system was down so he was nice enough to call this location to see if their system was working. It is so I drive all the way here. I come in and Marissa asks aren’t you cold?(I’m wearing a belly shirt and jeans) No hunny I’m a dancer we don’t get cold lol. I tell her I want a bed not spray since I’ve been doing hot yoga and don’t want the spray to sweat off. So even though I’ve been here before and gave her my name and bday, I had to sign a waiver ok fine. So I do. Then she asks what do I want to do again.(thanks for listening the first time.) I say a bed preferably one that will tan me right away and not burn me. She suggests one. I go in no eye goggles and I get a burn on my butt! No where else but my butt wth. How am I supposed to work like that. I go back and tell her and she says oh no I’m so sorry. I tell her I guess I will get a spray even though I didn’t want one, to cover it up. She offers me a complimentary one and literally takes 20 minutes with the computer. Is this a joke? I’m still waiting as I write this. Hopefully I can get the complimentary spray in the next ten minutes or I’m leaving and not coming back. The offer is kinda nice after my ass got burned, but seriously not worth all the drama that came along with it!

I tan late an night and Marrissa is is Always there in a great mood, she remembers your name and beds you use. She will make you feel comfortable and she keeps the place SPOTLESS!!!

I’m giving this place a 3 but it most definitely has potential to be a 5. Pros: OPEN24HOURS A DAY — nightlife rejoice! Finally people who get us! Now if only the nail salons could catch on haha talk about convenient. ALWAYSCLEAN — I’ve never had a dirty room and the waiting area looks clean. STAFF — I’ve always had a pleasant visit and the girl who set up my membership was a 7⁄10 on the informative and helpful scale. At other places I’ve been walked around and given fun facts as well as comparisons and personal recommendations but hey, it’s like taking the waiters recommendation on the wine list: it will be good but the sommelier is going to get geeky. Cons: ACCOMMODATION: there has been more than one occasion where the computers have been down, one of which was when I was signing up. I feel like they need an SOP for when this happens so it’s handled appropriately EVERYTIME and the experience is consistent. THELITTLETHINGS: why do I not get eye protector goggle things at the very LEAST when I sign up? I come from Palm Beach Tan* where they provided them for everyone free of charge. They just sanitize them. And you know what that says to me? «We care about those baby blues» and I appreciate that kind of customer service. INCOMPLETE: Am I the only one who noticed there are ZERO level 2&3 beds? Like what? You have 1, 4 and 5 only?(Plus the spray tans) Kind of annoying and doesn’t really make sense. Esp when it gets busy in there and I’m like hey I’ll just take a bed at a slightly lower level… Nope.

I’ve been with body heat for awhile now and haven’t had anything negative to say until attempting to cancel. When signing up they advertised that they price match so I went in on that deal, turns out they didn’t really want to price match but they told me they would give me the price of signing up for a contracted plan without having to do the contract, it was still a little more but I agreed. A couple months ago I attempted to cancel, I was told the only way to do it was to email corporate so I did. I got a response back that I was under contract for 3 more months or I would have to pay $ 200, I explained the situation and then never got a response back. I attempted to email again and then only got an automated response that was the same as before. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle so I just paid the 3 months but they still continue to charge me. And of course they are closed on weekends. Terrible customer service.

Walked in to discuss memberships and was appalled at the terrible customer service. I wanted to inquire about specials going on, and the girl immediately responded with«our system is down so I can’t process anything, if you’re a member I can but if not I can». I understand as a business to save money you hire young employees but let’s train them a little Better to have customer service and put in EFFORT to be accommodating. Thankfully, I walked across the street to Rio tan, had phenomenal service, place was MUCH cleaner and I will spend more money on quality any day! Save your money and time. Don’t go here.

Usually always come here late at night. Since it’s close to me and its 24 hours. But this time I decided to come with my friend.(who I had been convincing for months to come tanning with me) we walk in and a tall girl with glasses and long brown hair greets us. I told her my friend would like to try tanning but wouldn’t like a huge commitment to purchase just yet. She proceeded to tell me she couldn’t help me unless my friend had printed out a coupon. I asked if there was any other options? She said no. And that was it. So since I had been tanning at BodyHeat for over 3 years I know there’s always a way! So my friend and I decided to drive out of our way to another location.(Charleston & Fort Apache) where Reyna really accommodated me and my friend. My friend got to try tanning & I ended up leaving there with an upgraded membership a new tanning lotion and my friend a membership as well. Goes to show you what customer service will do. Way to drop the ball flamingo &215!

Every time I am in here the girls are super friendly! Any time I have questions about lotions, or bed upgrades, etc. they take time to answer them. They run tons of specials and the fact that they have 24 hour locations is great for our 24 hour town :-) The staff at this location is by far 5STARS! The reason for the 4 star rating is because of a particular couple of visits I have had where bulbs have been out, I have mentioned it and nothing was fixed on the next visit… not the employees fault, they cannot change bulbs if they are not provided with the equipment(it is NOT only this location… the S. Rainbow location is WAY worse, they still have bulbs out it’s been months since I have mentioned it!). Another issue I had on a visit was a bed sat too long without being cleaned after a customer had left but before I had gone into tan. The bed WAS cleaned(but not thoroughly enough) before I went into tan however the person that was in before me must have used a tingle lotion because BOY was I hot and tingly! YUCK, SUPERGROSS! This has happened once in the past to me(at a different facility) and it can be pretty jolting/scary/uncomfortable when your not expecting it or don’t know what is happening. It was a busy weekend for them so I excused it but made sure to quietly mention it to the gals on the way out. Love the girls I see here early in the week in the mornings and later in the week on swings, thanks for always being fabulous!

Buyer beware, even if you specifically think you are purchasing only a limited number of tanning sessions they may go ahead and sign you up for a renewing membership. That’s what happened to me. When I called corporate to ask them to refund me they said I had signed a contract. Um no, I had signed on an electronic pad for the service I thought I had purchased. The lady said I should have asked for a printed contract, why would I have done that I thought I was only paying for the month of sessions I agreed too. This is bad business!!!

So… I’m latina and unlike other people I love to look orange lol… yes…it’s true… so at 24 Hour Bodyheat they promote the non orange look. But I signed up as a member because I’m loving the 24 hour convenience of open business hours. So the reason I’ve taken this time to post a review is because of 1 employee. I just moved from beautiful southern San Diego, California and hunting for a tanning salon all falls on customer service for me. I don’t remember the name of the girl who signed me up. But I do remember she brought me in over the phone. However I’ve been coming to this place for about 2 months now. And finally someone was able to sell me a product that satisfied my tan look I was hoping for. Keep in mind I too am in a sales position at work. So for someone to sell me a product for double the price I wasn’t wanting to pay for a tanning lotion says alot. This guy sold me a lotion all because of his awesome customer service and knowledge on all the products he had in store. I was so impressed I bought the lotion because he sounded so confident in the product he felt would meet my needs. All the other girls have tried for weeks to sell me on products $ 50 and up. At the end this guy named AUSTIN sold me on a $ 100 lotion. Says alot about him to have sold a person that sells for a living. So if you want to know what product might be best for you Austin is your guy for the answer. I’m super happy I spent the $ 100 dollars. And I love that he always has a awesome smile. His positive attitude is contagious. I took a selfie with him to give him customer appreciation … Thank you again Austin!!! you’re the best …

I normally don’t write reviews but this is just so bad I had to. If I can give it 0 stars I would! I understand it’s busy because it’s free tan weekend but I tried to call yesterday and today at ALL of the locations and nobody picks up the phone, I wait in line for 30 minutes for my free spray tan, and I get up to the counter the sales person skips me TWICE to take other customers, and then tells me that it’s for locals only and even though I had my work ID I couldn’t get my tan because I didn’t have my nevada ID. Waste of my time!!! Never going there for a tan!
