I’ve checked out the Civilian website a couple times and liked some of the designs(rioting rebels, the C with a molotov cocktail, etc), so when I wanted to get my husband a unique, inexpensive, Vegas-centric gift, I immediately thought of Civilian. They didn’t have much selection online(and by not much, I mean 2 tshirts and one sweatshirt), so I went in to check out the actual store. Unfortunately, the selection inside the store is exactly the same as the website: 2 tshirts(only 1 short-sleeve) and 1 sweatshirt(not even a hoodie… crew neck). I guess that’s part of the mystique of the brand… not sure. I still really want to support this local business, but I wish they would make it easier!

I always have big love for local, and Civilian is about as local as they come. Locally conceived, locally designed, locally produced! Yes, they screenprint the shirts right on premise. This is their new HQ compound where you can stop in and pick up your Civilian streetwear. It isn’t huge, but you will find a tee that will fit your needs or perhaps a pillow to spruce up your pad. If you’re visiting Vegas, they have the classic CVLN Rioting Rebels design, which I personally think would make a much better gift to your buddies back home than that shot glass or magnet. While the store portion is smaller, the entire compound covers some square feet, and they use that space to throw events, like Tuesday Riots featuring local artists, food trucks, music and more. It’s a spot to get a taste of the local community and pick up something different to cover your body. I contemplated the«I’m a F’in Riot» shirt, but I don’t know if I have enough attitude to pull it off.
