Not what I expected from Italian gelato place. Gelato was tasteless and over priced. I expected much more as it is located in the Venetian, on of my favorite hotel casino. Service was okay. I wouldn’t eat there again.

It’s OK. Neither the best nor the worst gelato I’ve had. Hazelnut was a good flavor, but my gelato had ice chips in it. They do let you try samples, which is great. Unfortunately, they won’t do half-scoops — you have to order a double to get two flavors — this even though they put two scoops in a cup for the small size.

The girl was terrible, rude, not smily at all. And she stayed to see if we left a tip. It’s not a restaurant, it’s like a fast food, so no reason to have the tips system. Otherwise, the ice cream and the smoothies are good but not excellent like Italian quality.

0 stars! Unprofessional workers. Skipped over us completely after waiting 10 minutes to get to the front. We tried to get their attention but they played deaf. We had 3 little kids who were looking forward to some gelato, but had to witness some ugliness instead. We were just going to walk away but the smirk on the ladies’ faces and their unapologetic attitude boiled our blood. They didn’t wear any name tags so didn’t get their names. We asked for a manager’s(or whoever is in charge) number and they said they didn’t have one. We turned on our phone to record what they said and they reneged on their words. Finally, they gave us «Maria’s» number. Turns out it’s one of their husband’s number. He didn’t speak any English and hung up. Went back furious! They gave us another number that no one answered. What a bunch lying dishonest folks. All 3 of them. Spoke Spanish to each other, trying to cover their tracks. Horrible establishment. Going to make sure they are reported. No one should be treated like they treated us. And from previous reviews, it doesn’t seem like this is the first time. These ladies should be fired. Perhaps a visit from the Better Business Bureau might straighten this business out.

Fancy, expensive but nothing great! But the view inside the Venetian is spectacular. We tried their lemon flavor which was sweetened frozen water.

During the course of my stay in Las Vegas the temperature outside was over 100 degrees it was refreshing to come in from that heat and cool down with a cup of gelato and boy was is good! My top two I would have to say was the pistachio(wishing i had a cup right about now) and the passion fruit! Definitely give Cocolini’s a try!

A younger and older Mexican women helped us. WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER. They don’t listen. She asked my family 5 times if we were together! Then the last time my mom said yes the younger one slammed down my moms gelato. Don’t waste your money here, there are plenty of other gelato stands in the Venetian.

I love the ambience of this place. It’s right at the Venetian. There are guys singing to us on the gondola. We sat on the stairs to people watch while eating our gelato. It was a pretty romantic setting. I’ve been to Italy, and I know what good gelato tastes like. The gelato here was just satisfactory. I had the Raspberry gelato and it didn’t have that fresh taste of fruits that I yearn from Italy. I’ve had better gelato elsewhere in the States. I would have given this place one extra star if they incorporated some actual raspberries in there. For the charge of $ 6.25 per scoop, I expected a party in my mouth. 3 stars for good location, but average gelato.

Loved their crème brule gelato. A single scoop costed $ 6.25. There is outdoor seating around it. Also we were lucky to see the streetmosphere performance. Lovely instrumental music.

Stayed at the Palazzoo so this was one of the places in the hotel itself. Walking by in the morning, we decided to stop by after dinner for some desert. Came in at 10.30pm and saw the amazing array of treats. My wife sampled 2 and decided while son was still deciding. I asked for a sample and was ready to order when I saw crème brule flavor and asked her for another sample. The tired looking, rude lady that was working(this is on Apr 12 Saturday 2015 if the managers care about customer care), rudely said only 2 samples per person. I said ok so I need a sample of the crème brule. She rudely said sorry no more. I walked out of there. She saw that most of my family was ready to order and only I was the one still deciding, but she still was so rude. Not recommended at all.

Smack dab in the middle of the Venetian where the«canals» and shops and restaurants seem to converge, here lies a small gelato stand that serves the best darn gelato in Vegas. In fact, my teen recently went to Italy and she has been quite critical of the various gelato fare she tried while here in Vegas with us. This was the only place where she said the gelato was«legit». ‘Nuff said.

3.5 stars Alluring presentations of creamy and fruity gelato smack dab in a popular Venetian square. Blackberry was a bit icy, but the classic lemon was dreamy. Tart, almost to the point where your lips pucker, with tiny flecks of candied lemon peel in each bite. My scoop was a decent size, but service was terrible. The server behind the counter was surly and reluctant about giving samples to those before us, so I blindly selected my flavors. Phooey. No getting two flavors in the small cup. If it weren’t for the fact that we were living large this weekend and parched, I would not have shelled out this amount for gelato. In case you haven’t heard: It’s $ 6.25 per scoop. Yowza! If you want front row seats and good eats for the shows in St. Marks Square, and you don’t mind shelling out dolla dolla bills, come on by.

I wanted to give this place four stars, but the price wouldn’t let me. I thought the gelato was really good. I had straciatella and I believe peanut butter, and they were both pretty good. What I enjoyed about the straciatella was that it was very authentic, with many small chips of chocolate in every bite. However, the price… Wow. My family got three cones, each with two flavors. It came out to 28 something. That’s almost TENDOLLARS per cone! Unless it’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had, no ice cream is worth that much. The setting around you is beautiful, but come on. Gelato in the real st. Marks square isn’t that expensive! Give me a break! The lady we had that scooped the ice cream was nice, but to all the other reviews here complaining about the service… Give THEM a break. I saw some of the rudest customers I’ve ever seen while I was there. It seemed like an Asian your was heading through, and ladies in that tour were literally pushing other customers aside and just continually tapping the glass and waving at the employees. I can’t imagine having to deal with that every day.

Although I felt the employees could’ve been a little more personable, you don’t spend more than 5 mins with them anyway. Spumoni ice cream is my absolute favorite, but this was Spumoni gelato! Yummy :) my son had the strawberry gelato, it was a little too sweet in my opinion.

Coconut Sorbet. Mmmmm!!! So smooth, so flavorful, so worth the visit! I also got to sample the Watermelon Sorbet. I really appreciate it when watermelon flavors taste like the actual fruit rather than artificial. It was the most vibrant sample spoon ever served to me, ever!

When you’re in the Venetian, you got no excuse not to have one of their gelato’s, specifically from Cocolini’s. I’m not saying that this is best gelato that I ever had, but it’s pretty good. One thing about gelato’s is how every restaurant presents it. All the nice beautiful flavors stuck behind glass. You might not be in the mood for gelato and end up buying scoop anyway. Well, that’s exactly what I did. Every time I come here, I see nothing but huge lines. To my surprise, zero people in line. I wasn’t in the mood, but didn’t want to lose my chance at Cocolini’s gelato with no line. Or, that’s just my excuse to break my diet. On my visit to Rome years ago, I was once given a tip to always get two flavors that are on the complete opposite taste from each other. For an example, get a light flavor combined with a very bold flavor. And when you eat it, taste the stronger flavor first followed by the lighter flavor. Wow. no wonder everyone loves gelato. There’s actually a way to eat it. I usually do this, but didn’t on this visit. I wanted something light combined with something lighter. So, I ended up with their caramel sea salt and butter pecan. Both were good, but to be honest, I regret not doing the strong flavor with the light flavor suggestion. Regardless, you can’t lose either way since gelato always brings a smile to my face. PS: Can you even say gelato without smiling? Didn’t think so.

I judge gelato based on certain flavors: pistachio, hazelnut and baccio(chocolate + hazelnut). I’ve been to Vivoli in Florence, Italy — the home of THE best gelato in the world — and Cocolini is the closest thing in Vegas. Their gelato is nice and smooth — the way it’s supposed to be. I’ve had gelato in other places in Vegas and they were marginal — some were even freezer burnt. Bleeccchhh!!! The location is just perfect. You can enjoy your gelato while watching the performers at the piazza, while riding a gondola or just people-watching on the bridge. I want my baccio gelato!!!
