Dealer’s Choice Lounge

We in Vegas for our bowling sweep and was looking for pool and karaōke to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We found Dealer’s Choice on Unilocal with positive reviews. So we decided to take a chance. The bar has a homely feel and the bartender D and the owner Tom was great. They made my sister b-​day special, put put up balloons (no charge) gave us jello shots and the drinks are reasonable and great. There was about twenty of us and we had a ball. We have decided this will be our hang out spot every time we bowl sweeps in Vegas

This place is great! I love how divey it is. I especially like coming in on day shift. Arlene is so attentive and cares about her guests. The prices are cheap and the machines pay out. Oh and they have cheap bar food. You really can’t beat it.

We are from San Diego. We wanted to play pool in a nice atmosphere. We saw good reviews for dealers choice so decided to give it a chance. Our expectations were exceeded by Dina (the bartender) and Tom (the owner). We where treated like VIPs. What a great place and very hospitable people. If your visiting or live in Vegas go see Tom and Dina.

FINALLY! I find a bar that feels like home from the first hello. Tom is such a great host & Dena is the most genuine bartender that we had to spend both our nights off enjoying the atmosphere of vegas’ diamond in the ruff, a true LOCALS lounge, the only choice is Dealers Choice. They have everything you need. Pool, machines that pay (I’ve won $ 150 so far.), generous pours, clean bathrooms, live music, karaōke, pool tourneys, the décor is so beautifully old school eye candy. Etc etc, I could go on. But will end with a Thank you Dealers Choice

Now please note, I am definitely here a lot, and probably a bit biased, since I come out for Karate Karaōke most Friday nights, but if you’re looking for a bit of the dive-​bar feel, without the ickyness, a really invested and nice owner/​manager, nice bar tenders and cheap drinks, you’re at the right place. They finally got in a new (and cooooold) draft beer system (the standard american fare is always on tap, a cider, along with stella and a few rotating taps). Food menus rotates, but there’s plenty around nearby, especially great asian fare as well.
There machines seem good, and there are plenty at the bar area. They have 5 pool tables in this place too, and while they are sometimes being used for tournaments there is usually at least one free in the lower area.
NOTE: If you were here before May of 2015, definitely come back and try it again, the change in management/​ownership did a world of good. An owner who really cares to improv gets the 5 star in my book.

Karaōke every Friday night at 10pm with Karate Karaōke! This is a great joint with reasonable drinks, pool tables, Karaōke and air ventilation.

Not much happening if you’re looking for food, but there is plenty of that around Chinatown.

Awesome place! It’s a little hard to see but worth finding. You can’t beat $ 3 dollar beers and $ 4 dollar drafts. The owner is such a nice heart warming guy, and all the staff is so friendly. There’s lots of pool tables and I heard on Fridays and Saturdays they do Karaōke at night. Going to make this a regular watering hole for sure.

Pool. Come here to play pool. And drink. Some of the nicest owners/​bartenders you’ll ever meet. It’s definitely are regulars bar and gets packed with pool tournaments on the weekends.

It’s rare I have an experience that is actually criminal, but here you go.
General shiftiness aside, I asked for a pour of makers mark. They poured from a makers mark bottle, but whatever was inside wasn’t makers mark.
That’s right. They’re stepping on even their low-​mid shelf stuff with rot gut. Despicable.

Dealer’s Choice is one of those friendly bars that you like going to.
I’ve only been here a handful of times… maybe three… and EVERYONE is super nice. The bar staff is cool, and make good drinks. (The kamikazes are good)
They have great beer prices, and lots of pool tables.
Plus, my favorite, karaōke nights! Friday AND Sunday night!

I thought I was in a midwestern bar in the late 1980’s. This is my kind of place with 6 pool tables in the bar. They have reasonably priced drinks, they take care of their regulars, I have hit two four of a kinds here already and they have karaōke every Friday and Sunday night. I dig it.
