Great Clips

This 5 star rating is for Angie… who sadly I dont think is there anymore… for whatever reason. I had gotten my haircut here a few times when I first moved to Vegas 10 months ago and the two gorls who did it prior to Angie… were kinda bad. Like my hair looked really lame after I left. However, when Angie did my hair, I knew I would come back and always wait for her. She was so personable and nice. Plus her haircuts were fast and always ON POINT. She was so nice to me all the time. I truly hope she sees this review and underatand what a great employee she was and is. Now thats she’s not there, I dont go anymore.

I used to go to a barber shop and get hit in my pocket pretty bad every time. Now I can go get cleaned up every two weeks with out the long wait and expensive rates. All the girls there do a great job and very friendly. And checking in online so I’m not sitting and waiting forever is the best. No complaints about this location at all specially being half a mile from the house.

I always get top notch service! Sharron is an expert at men’s cuts, usually I am super picky, yet she nails it every time with a perfect fade! She uses excellent clippers, showing care in her profession. Thank you Sharron!

Wish I didn’t have to give a no stars went on Thursday to have my little boy’s (he is 2) haircut i have been there once before and Angie did his hair the first time so I was happy to see her that on Thursday before she sat us down I asked her to save the hair from the cut cause daddy throw the frist haircut out by mistake she no problem even went and got something to put the hair in we sat down she asked what I wanted I told her to cut about 2 inches off the top and trim the back cause I wanted to keep my son’s curls the next than I know she had cut ALL my son’s curls off and while she was cutting the curls off she said lets cut this so he doesn’t look like a girl it was to late for me to say anything cause they all was gone!!! When I asked her why she cut the back and the curls off she said well there’s nothing we can do now we have to move forward needless to say I was pissed!!! I asked her to walk away and let me have time to cool down she than step toward me and says this is her station after some talking and yes cussing back and forward the other lady name Sarah finished cutting my son’s hair as we was leaving (by this time she was cutting someone else hair) she stop what she was doing came to the counter and said here take some coupons for windshield wipers and put them in my purse I told I didn’t want the coupons she than asked if my son can have a sucker I told her no she then walks for behind the counter and asked my son if he wants one and when I said no again my son (like most 2 year old) had a meltdown throwing himself backwards hitting his head on the concrete the coworker Sarah said Angie stop!!! I asked Sarah if she would get me son’s hair that Angie saved before all hell broke lose that’s when Angie with a smile on her face says thats she throw it away!!! Call the manager on Friday (cause she wasn’t there on Thursday) all she offer me was a free haircut and says for me to make Angie isn’t working that day. She needs to fired!!!

Terrible Customer Service. Checked-​in on-​line indicating no wait. Arrived at location, with two customers getting haircuts and four stylists present. Told the receptionist I checked-​in on-​line but the wait time would be ten minutes.
After waiting ten minutes with one customer getting a haircut and three other stylists doing nothing, I told the receptionist to cancel my appointment.
At that time, I was told I would be taken immediately. Too late. I left. Will never return to this location.

Brand new location on S Rainbow, just north of Charleston. I stopped by last Wednesday for a haircut, to see if their stylists were any good compared to the location by my house. After waiting a short while, I got a haircut from Teresa, who is also the manager. Although she did a great job and this was probably one of the better cuts I have gotten at a Great Clips, she spent a lot of time talking to other employees and attempting to do other tasks which took time from focusing on my cut and was very awkward at times. This place would be great if everyone focused a little more and waited to do administrative tasks after the haircut you already started is finished, manager or not.
